What a good service.

Yet again, I experience pathetic service from Foodpands Hong Kong. Always let down, mostly by their customer service. They cannot redeliver missing items, instead I have to wait 3-5 days for a refund!! Useless! How is Foodpanda still operating in Hong Kong?!??

Waited a hour for food that I was told would be 20-30 minutes, then was shouted at down the phone and was racially impressioned by the driver who couldn’t find my address when I was on the phone giving directions and was told to walk to the main road?!?? Then talked to customer service who did nothing to help and ended the chat. Then had my order cancelled and not refunded as it would “cause their partner losses”. Disgusting way of business. When I had to chase my refund and report the driver I was met with an offer of 10HKD for the trouble. With no genuine apology and someone reading off a script. Clearly they don’t care about their customers. DO NOT USE.

Basically, they stole money from me in Thailand. They cancelled an order, been 5 weeks waiting for a refund, can't get to talk to anyone, other than "we will get back to you in 24 hours" they never do. So all I can do is warn people not to use them in Thailand

I ordered Food Panda with Tai Hing; I was trying to taste some Cantonese food. Food Panda said the driver would deliver my order in 30 mins. Then, 25 mins later, Food Panda said they cancelled my order without any refund. Because Tai Hing had accepted my order, their customer service (Tan K) kept asking how can he helps me. I said I requested a refund for my Tai Hing order because the food was never delivered as promised. I asked for proof that Tai Hing had accepted my order and complained.

Absolutely terrible service, unorganized and dysfunctional company. McDonald’s took an hour?! Give me a break

My order, which was cooked and ready within 5min, took almost another hour to arrive at my door. The restaurant is a 9 minute drive from my apartment.

The agent's only suggested 'solution' was a $20 HKD voucher to compensate for cold ruined food.

Absolute joke!! Such a terrible customer service provided by them, where they cancelled my order in the first place without even confirming it with me, and didn't even refund me anything for that. Everytime I tried interacting with them, they just apologised and said they can't anything about it. It seems like such a waste of time and money.

Drivers don't interact and mistakes go unacknowledged. You contact support and they give little to no help, flatly dismissing your concern and telling you there is nothing they can do about it.

Delivery boy stole my food and the company won’t refund even after tons of emails I sent to them showing proofs and stuff.This has happened twice on me.After I talk with my friends I realized it’s a common thing with anyone while using this app.You never know who’s gonna be the next.

The title says it all really. I always knew foodpanda had terrible customer service as they outsource all customer service related matters to callers in overseas. However, upon my most recent experience with them, I discovered just how much of a scam this company is, and the fact that the people who run foodpanda allow their customer service (CS) to be run this way is pretty telling just how much they actually care for their customers (- not at all).
I placed a pickup order with a restaurant I frequent close to home, but for some reason was shown a branch two districts away and didn’t notice till after the order had been placed.
Why they would even show me a restaurant nowhere close to me is baffling so I figured it must be an issue with the app’s geolocation. Upon checking in with their CS to let them know of the issue, I quickly learned they weren’t intent on solving this issue for me.
They informed me that the order had already been made so they told me to pick it up myself to avoid wastage.
Upon trying to explain how this order came to be, I was met with rather robotic responses about how they don’t offer full refunds (even though this error was entirely the fault of the app) and was told the same few answers over and over again to different questions. In fact the agent even ended the chat whilst I was still talking to them.
I figured I’d email their CS team but lo and behold, the same issue took place.
I feel completely scammed by foodpanda, and upon reading all the other reviews, I can now see this is a common practise. How they are still allowed to be running is beyond me.
I think it’s also pretty telling that their HK IG account restricts its followers from commenting on their posts to prevent hearing any real feedback from their customers.
I’ll definitely be sticking with deliveroo going forwards inspite of their higher platform fees. At least they don’t scam their customers out of money and have real people behind their CS team who care about their customers.
Seems like the only thing Foodpanda CS team are concerned about are taking and keeping your money.

Foodpanda has become MORE expensive with platform fee (so they can keep making more profit). While the service has become WORSE.

These days, they never give a voucher anymore after you gotten a wrong order. You just lose your money.

Their customer service chat is always the same automatic template.

Last time I had missing items in my order. All the chat-bot said was "sorry, we will do our best to improve". Nothing else. No money back, nothing.
And I am a REGULAR customer who has spent money on the platform on a daily basis.
They still treat you like crap.

So the platform became MORE expensive while the service became WORSE.

Stop using Foodpanda, just order directly online at shops or use a different service.
Foodpanda is simply trying to steal your money.

They literally stole my money from a voucher I made with them and they dared to end the chat when I started a complaint. I'm so disappointed in them.
Do not order with them go with another delivery app, at least you won't be robbed of your money. And I had issue every other week with them it's quite tiring. I'm just reviewing now because stealing money is too much. If food panda needs money that much they should just raise their price !!!(Ps the money is mine, I put it as a voucher because it'll be easier to use but oh boy I was wrong)

Try to contact them to update details on your account, they make is as difficult as possible (e.g. no contact email id or phone number published on their website). Messaging them via their social media is sending messages into a black hole.

i like how they deal with customer complaints and the immediate action
but also dislike the increment in delivery cost that makes me less wanting to order

Foodpanda thailand is home to some of the most incompetent people on earth. Im very impressed.

Pretty fast and reliable on delivery actually. Not as bad as I thought
