Convoluted and severely outdated process. They sit on your funds for three days grabbing interest. As close to a sham as it can get whilst remaining within legal parametres.

Frustration and Failure Using the Flywire Process
I could not make the payment using Flywire. I had to go to my bank and ask them to wire the funds. When I tried to use your site there was a problem. You sent a code number at one point to my email but I was already using my email account with your email for payment. I could not open the new email with the code without losing where I was in the process ion your email. Very frustrating! It would have worked if you sent the code through a text message but I wasn’t given that option.

They made an unauthorised debit!
My experience with Flywire has been extremely stressful and I still do not feel that they have properly understood or addressed the issue I reported. I made legitimate, authorised payments through Flywire for university fees. However, additional funds for a large amount were then debited from my bank account without my authorisation, 3 weeks later! It was like they debited me twice!!
I immediately raised the issue with Flywire and have spent considerable time trying to get a clear explanation and resolution. Despite explaining repeatedly that my complaint concerns unauthorised additional debits, I have received responses that appear to misunderstand the problem entirely.
Most recently, Flywire told me that funds had “not arrived” in their bank account and advised me to ask my bank to trace the payment. This completely misses the point of my complaint: I did not authorise the additional payment in the first place. I am asking Flywire to explain why money was taken from my account and to return it!
I have tried live chat, telephone support and email … What has made the experience particularly annoying is the apparent lack of ownership of a potentially serious payment issue. When a company handles significant sums of money on behalf of students and families, customers should be able to expect urgent, competent assistance when something goes wrong.
At the time of writing, I am still waiting for a satisfactory explanation and resolution. And my money has disappeared. If this was their money you can be sure they’d locate it quickly! I will update this review if and when Flywire resolves the matter. But wanted to caution students to be careful when paying with Flywire.

I tried multiple times to pay
I tried multiple times to pay it was always rejected and still I don't know why. The bots were unable to help me and the human on the phone was less than helpful, giving me incorrect information and sometimes no assistance at all. Emails were received saying my payment was being processed only to find it had been returned to me the following day. This time you had my money but didn't put through the payment until today.
Using Flywire has been a totally stressful upsetting experience that has continued for a number of months,
