Finches Friend Arvostelua

Very good quality and very sturdy not used it yet not till end of October but being prepared for the winter

Great service and good quality product

I bought my first feeder along with a the cage, both products are extremely well made and so easy to clean, it performed so well i bought another model, they really are well designed and engineered that i can safely say there is nothing on the market to match them.

This company really cares about birds and keeping them as safe as possible. I have just purchased the Cleaner Peanut feeder after several years using their Cleaner Feeder 2. The quality and design of these products speak for themselves. I would thoroughly recommend this company and their ethics.

great products, easy to clean, and keep the food dry and separate from feet as much as possible to protect our feathered friends.
quick delivery too
will buy the 4 feeder when available

I'm very happy with your products and keen to feed birds more safely so thank you for well-made equipment.

We purchased a Cleaner Feeder 1, a Cage Guard, and a Cleaner Peanut Feeder a few months ago. We had heeded RSPB advice re summer feeding of birds and taken down all our feeders, but really missed being able to watch and hear the variety of garden birds that normally flock to our semi-rural garden. I did some research on the reasoning behind the advice and came across the Finches Friends website, and decided that these feeders might solve the main drawback of most other feeders - i.e. the sheer hassle of taking them apart to clean them thoroughly, which I confess we probably didn't do anywhere near as often as we should.
Some reviews mention birds not taking to these new style feeders, but within 24 hours the first birds (plucky little blue tits!) were happily on board the CF1 which I had filled with sunflower hearts. They were rapidly followed by great tits, chaffinches, sparrows and even robins. A few weeks went by and as more birds fledged the goldfinches and then the greenfinches appeared! A few years ago greenfinches were a rare sight in our garden, but in 2024 we had one pair with 1 fledgling regularly visiting; in 2025 one pair with 3 fledglings; and this year we have a veritable blizzard of them (I have counted over 20 of them fighting for a position on the new feeder, with at least 12 of them being this years fledglings). Currently the CF1 feeder needs refilling every other day, and I have found it is very simple to detach the feeder tray to clean it properly at the same time. So far the seed has stayed clean and dry in the hopper too. I have filled the peanut feeder with suet pellets, which work just as well as peanuts do. This feeder is not used much by the finches, but proved a good draw for all types of tits, especially the coal tits, as well as spotted woodpeckers. Any dropped seed etc is hoovered up immediately by collared doves, pigeons and other ground feeding finches, so there is very little waste. If I have any recommendations, it would be to see if you NEED a cage protector before buying one (apart from the cost it makes the feeder VERY heavy, and also makes filling and cleaning the feeder a bit cumbersome). Our CF1 is hung on a long hook in the overhanging branches of an ornamental cherry tree, which has so far kept off the magpies and squirrels so as yet the guard has not been needed. Secondly, I suggest buying a spare feeder station base (I thought one came with the CF1, but you only get a spare with the CF2 - which is a shame.) Build quality was good: I think you get what you pay for, and hopefully these feeders will last for several years. Delivery of the items was swift - the only issue was regarding replies to emails, which seemed to go pretty much unanswered (presumably as this is a small family business, with a lot of other time commitments!). If you have any questions phoning them might be better.

The design is superb and the build quality is superior to anything else. Easy to clean and refill, with excellent instructions.

Rapid and personal delivery for a second time!
Additional cover for second unit to keep out unwanted jackdaws magpies parakeets etc. a lot of wastage saved.
A major success towards feeding small birds, blue tits great tits finches etc

I was gifted a feeder a couple of years ago. I wanted another so that I could clean the feeder each day. Easy to use, robust plus the birds seem to like it.

I ordered the item on line. It arrived a few days later. All in good order, no damage to item or packaging. No issues with the item.

Received my order very quickly. Very pleased with the feeders. Very good quality better than I expected. Very easy to clean. Would definitely recommend these bird feeders.

Brilliant bird feeder for smaller birds, keeps food dry and the cage stops the bigger birds and squirrels getting to the food.

Excellent design of bird feeders. Also first class nest boxes.

Although expensive the feeder is perfect and my charms of finches love it!

It was easy to order and the goods arrived with in a reasonable time.

We purchased the cleaner feeder cage as we have had a problem with squirrels! since fitting it we have not had any problems, this product is extremely well designed and produced. All credit to finches friend who continue to innovate and produce products which help to protect our birds.

The birds like the bird feeder very much. Thank you

Well made, good quality
