Quality Stuff
Okay, listen.. I get some of the gripes others are having. I for one, haven't had a bad experience with Ffern yet. I have no intention of canceling my subscription, but I'm hoping if it ever comes to that they've ironed out any kinks that I've read about. The "drawing" they do, whether it's to zhuzh up the customer experience or not, I don't think is misleading. I have multiple emails and texts that specifically state the terms of the drawing, the shipment, and when payment is expected. My attention was caught by the Winter 26 ad (underwater, BEAUTIFUL), I put my name in the drawing and googled how much a bottle would run me. I feel like people see a desirable, and QUALITY product and don't do any research on it at all before adding to their carts or signing up. Yes, it's pricey for some, BUT you get what you pay for 10000%! The art, the attention to detail, the scents themselves... ALL WORTH IT (at the very least, worth it to me). Winter 26 has been my favorite so far, and I can't wait for Summer. Keep it up Ffern!

Sustainable & classy fragrance
I really do appreciate the hard work that goes into creating these seasonal fragrances. The shipment is like a care package with little goodies included and then you can either recycle or compost the packaging - caring for the environment goes a long way in my book when it comes to supporting a company.
The setup is automatic payments and shipments, you can pick which seasonal scents you want, customer service is friendly, quick to respond, and helpful.
The only reason I did not give a 5th star is because the two fragrances I’ve received (I’m a new customer) are heavy and quite manly in their smell. I would like to see a “lighter, airy, feminine” fragrance in the future.

If you're into fragrance
If you're into fragrance, this is great. I like that you can experiment without buying the whole thing. The fragrances are elevated, interesting, and thoughtful. The packaging is very curated and thought out, although I don't "need" a lot of the extras that come in it (2 different cards, qr code tickets, flower seeds).

Fantastic customer service
I got in touch after dropping my bottle of the new season perfume on my tiled floor where it smashed, I honestly didn't think k they'd be able to help as I know they only have a limited stock of each season. But the team were so helpful & I've been able to buy a replacement from the archive stock which is already on its way. The customer service offered is what all companies should strive for

Unclear business terms
What looks like a draw to purchase a perfume is actually a subscription, but this is not clearly communicated.
I was charged without any clear notification, and only later realised that I had apparently signed up for multiple deliveries per year. The information is hidden in vague email wording rather than clearly stated upfront.
This setup feels intentionally unclear and misleading.

Great customer service and glorious scent
The SHOP app had my old address. When I noticed this, I got in touch with my concierge who immediately changed my address for shipping my first time fragrance.
It arrived today! I LOVE it! The natural scents combine into something glorious for Spring.

A perfect experience
This is the kind of company that you've been looking for. Their business model and customer service are quietly exceptional. They are very responsive when you email them, but never bombard you with spam or solicitations. They make you feel respected and privileged to be a customer, without any fanfare, simply by offering a lovely, streamlined, curated experience, four times a year. And now of course to the scents - they are wonderful. I've never really been a perfume person, but love nature and natural scents, so these organic, thoughtfully herbal concoctions are perfect for me. For the ones that were not love, the return process is simple and straightforward. I've also explored a few from their archive, and was delighted. I look forward to each new release as my own little seasonal self-care ritual. I will be with this company for many years, and I hope they never change!
