Formula One Autocentres - Orpington Arvostelua 

Needed four tyres for my 50 year old car. Staff at the Orpington branch were friendly helpful and professional during my visit and I got a great price online for the tyres.
Would recommend this branch for tyres.

Price for new battery was very competitive. Battery was very difficult to remove but they kept at it! They changed a corroded fixing bolt for no extra charge. All staff were polite and helpful.

Fast service called that morning and went straight down to have my new tyre fitted. This was done within 30 mins and they had a large warm waiting room with a toilet which was fab as I had the 2 toddlers with me. We could watch the car having the type changed from the waiting room which was great. They only had a budget tyre in our size but would have ordered a premium one in for the afternoon if I had wanted. Will use again.

Our car failed it's MOT and we popped into Formula One Autocentre in Orpington to see if we could get it fixed quickly. The guy we spoke to was wonderful - booked us in quickly and even helped negotiate with the company that had done the MOT to get it retested so we could get our car back in time for Christmas. Went above and beyond to help us out. Would recommend.

I have to say that Alan at Formula One is one of the most helpful, friendly people I have ever come across in customer service. Unfortunately F1 are at the mercy of Black Circles who completely messed up our travel plans due to delivering the wrong tyres but Alan couldn’t have been more helpful, even offering to stay late to complete the work.

Popped in last minute at formula one autocentre orpington as me light was not working properly & not lighting up the road much. Alan & guys couldn't do enough going out of their way to help me. As I'm driving to the coast for Christmas with family is truly needed

My original MOT and service is booked for oprington center 10-Dec from 19-Nov. And oprington staff called me on 3-Dec that Oprington MOT system is down and switch my appointment to Dartford center on the same day. I have double confirmed with those staff that the appointment is changed and I just need to drop down my vehicle at Dartford center on 10-Dec without any further mail and message.However, I received a reminder email for my booking from Orpington center on 9-Dec. Once i called the Orpington center, the MANEGER told me that my booking does not changed, and the next available day for Dartford center is 16-Dec. That is horrible, how the worst internal communication for a big company. I need to apply another leave for the MOT without my fault. And it is no formal revised booking confirmation email / message again.
Besides, the MANAGER still mentioned that there are additional fee for my service, but all the fee which i have already paid online. I don't know why there still are additional fee that out of the quotation and my payment.

Initial booked appointment was cancelled and I accepted an alternative. I arrived on the dot but it was an hour till they started work on my car. Was told it was first come first serve. What’s the point of giving me a specific time? Then after the tyres were changed I was told tracking was out so had another hour wait for that to be fixed. Over 3 hours in total hanging about. If I’d known it would be so bad I’d have gone elsewhere.

Staff were polite and friendly but it doesn’t make up for poor admin. Regional manager phoned to apologise.

First time I have used your service and absolutely delighted with the speed of the work carried out at a very fair price, with free tyre check. Staff were friendly and helpful and the whole premises really clean. Highly recommended.

I couldn't fault the service provided by Tony, the new manager at this branch. He was able to move my appointment forward a day and called me to confirm when my tyres were delivered and ready for fitting. I'm really happy with the tyres, and his fitter diagnosed a resonance rattle from the engine undertray while the car was on ramps for the front wheel alignment. Definite 5* service

I had my tyres changed here about 6 months ago and all was well until a couple of months later when I found a flat tyre on one of them. Pumped it up and had Formula One take a look at it. After thorough testing and investigation they could not find where the mysterious leak was coming from but cleaned up the tyre and sealed everywhere they could. It’s has now been nearly three months on and no problems whatsoever so thank you very much to Simon and his team for looking into this and doing a great job!

Very good service centre. Very professional mechanics and highly competitive prices. Far more knowledgeable and experienced than some of the others that have recently opened.

Efficient, reliable and, I felt respected as their customer.
I went there to have my car tyres changed and also had a wheel alignment. Afterwards, I was given an explanation and a printout of the checks.
I was impressed by their attitude and will have no hesitation in returning there because you can tell they had good standards.

I would not recommend F1 Autocentres.

I made an appointment as my car was making strange noises. They stated it could be the clutch and so I trustingly left my car with them thinking they’d do all investigations to find the cause before changing such an expensive piece of equipment. They rang me stating there was oil in the gearbox, which they couldn’t find a cause for, but never actually asked for permission to change my clutch. I was rung the next day and was told the clutch was changed but the noise remained. On collecting my car I was told that no diagnostic testing was completed as they had been told by their manager that I had demanded a new clutch as a mechanic friend had told me to and that they had tape recordings of me saying so, all of which is false. He had also felt it was not the clutch that was the problem when driving my car into the garage. So why was it changed?
On leaving reception we were told that this happens at least twice a month and that we’d be lucky if head office did anything. They would not let my car go until I had paid the £552 they wanted for changing a clutch, that had I known was not the issue,would have left. I am a nurse and a single parent and need my car functional and paying for a clutch that did not solve the problem has left me significantly out of pocket. On complaining via the customer service route, as requested, I was rung by said manager who stated a completely different set of events and instead rattled off mechanic jargon he knew I had no hope of understanding, which was both unhelpful and confused the situation. On sending a detailed complaint to higher management I received a reply ignoring all that I had said, asking me to bring the car in for him to have a look, which solves no issue whatsoever. I have gone through the customer service route as requested and am still yet to hear anything substantial and comprehensive in reply. Avoid this garage at all cost.

I use the garage in Orpington and i would reccomend it highly. Great friendly service and prices. Also had everything explained to me as well to help me get a better understanding of what was needed and what was wrong with my car. Will continue to use them. Thanks
