Formula One Autocentres - Hanley  Arvostelua 

I was looking around for the best deal I could find for 2 tyres for my car. All seemed to be roughly the same kind of price until I came Across Formula One. I had to double check I had entered the tyres size and brand etc as the difference was astonishing!

Granted they had an offer on the brand I wanted so that helped but in total I managed to get 2 Pirelli CInturato P7 tyres fitted at a cost that was around 40% less than the other tyre places in the area! Even without this discount code they were still way cheaper!

Very quick service when I arrived for my appointment and the staff were very polite and helpful. I think you may have a new returning customer going forward!

I booked my daughters in for MOT today in November (and confirmed in Dec) she arrived today to be told they no longer have a tester and they left in December!
Luckily I booked a week in advance as this left her in a tiz for her test. No contact to tell her or me. Very poor attitude and customer service.
Will not book again!

I use the Stoke-on-Trent Hanley branch, they are absolutely amazing. So helpful and friendly, they always go the extra mile to sort something out and are very reasonable. I never go anywhere else

If you don’t want to waste your time and get the job done right first time go somewhere else. Staff with attitude, not bothered about customers and job not done right. Not willing to rectify. Complaint sent to head office. Will not be using ever again.

Hi I spent almost £600 on all brakes and 3 tyres last Saturday. Waited almost 4 hours. My brakes are scraping and have been since I left. I was also inappropriately approached by a member of your staff who gave me their personal number and have treated me badly since. I'm therefore reluctant to return to get my brakes checked as I don't believe the scraping sound is normal and gives me little confidence in your service. Whilst I was waiting for the work to be done on my car I witnessed multiple insults about customers by staff. I'd be grateful if you could offer me an opportunity to have my brakes checked without the risk of being spoken badly about. I have the business card with the member of staffs personal details on if you wish to pursue this as a complaint. But ultimately I just want reassurance that my brakes are safe.

I did however prior to this receive an email response confirming I would be contacted within 3 working days by the area manager.

I wasn’t contacted by an area manager so had to call the customer service number after 4 days. I’ve been assured this has been escalated above area management level. After describing my need to have all brakes replaced despite having 2 replaced 5 months ago, and that I was told I needed 4 new tyres when I had 1 replaced recently

I explained that I returned the car to have the brakes checked 8 days later but they only checked the front 2 brakes and was told it is due to my driving style.

My brakes are still scraping and making squeaking sounds at low speeds.

I would be grateful for a timely response, and for my concern about the reliability about my brakes to be reassured.

I've still not had a response 26.10.2024 it's now been 3 weeks.

I had a leak in my coolant system and my car was undriveable. I called the garage first thing and they saw me in the afternoon. Andy was super friendly on arrival and quickly identified the issue and ordered the relevant part. I was told the work would be completed that afternoon but during repairs, a bolt snapped and lengthened the timescale.

My car is my livelihood and I think my panic over being carless was picked up by the technician. Andy said he would prioritise the work and keep me informed. I received two further calls that afternoon and to my delight, the last was to advise I could pick the car up the following morning!

I am grateful the garage had the capacity to push through with my repairs and kept their promise to keep me updated - above and beyond service from the team! Thank you :):)

In and out in 20 mins regased my car aircon ready for road trip to wales this weekend, top notch service wife will be happy bloody freezing in there now,

I visited Formula 1 Hanley late this afternoon in the chance they could fit me a new tyre. Alex was incredibly helpful and after examining the tyre informed me that they could repair rather than needing to replace. This was all news to me - it being such a long time since I had needed a replacement tyre. Alex talked me through the process and ensured I did not waste money on a replacement tyre that has covered very few miles. Excellent service - would highly recommend.

Called the autocentre by phone and was greeted by a polite mannered manager called Andy.
Booked vehicle in for a service, my availability was met.
Arrived 15 minutes beforehand, shown to the waiting room.
Vehicle promptly inside and service began, when the service was completed asked to the desk, to settle the bill, Andy explained what had been done and detailed the items used.
No issues or dramas, great service all round , would highly recommend this particular autocentre.

Used this business for over 5 years, excellent service and great prices as always.

Used the Hanley (Stoke) branch. Ordered online 2 tyres and had to return twice, as they had received the incorrect tyres. I had to chase for updates and even then it wasn't sorted the following week.

In the end it was resolved and they fitted an equivalent brand and type of tyres that they had in stock. But communication was bad and I raised my experience with the contact details for the area manager (who's details are on a poster in the waiting room), never received a reply...

Ben and Ivban (hope I spelt that correct) did a great job at helping me out last min with getting a tyre fitted due to one blowing from hitting a pot hole. Nice staff and great prices, highly recommend their services. I would be stuck waiting a couple days to get a tyre fitted if I had gone elsewhere. Thanks again lads!

First experience needed tyres checking and tracking done went in expecting new premium brand tyres , they advised that the tyres were actually legal and to swap them front to rear , thus saving a lot of money , second was a short notice mot test carried out with professionalism and excellent communication, manager Ben was at all times knowledgeable and courteous, excellent service highly recommended.

Took my car for a MOT and it failed on a wiper blade. They charged me £40 for one wiper blade, the exact same blade was £11 from Euro Car Parts which is where Formula One buy their parts. They are good for tyres and exhausts but anything else, shop around.

The lads formula have gone above and beyond to sort my car . My brake pads and discs needed changing , but after completing the job they rang to say that an abs light had come on . Because the light wasn’t on before they replaced all the necessary bits, including a wheel bearing , abs sensor and driveshaft for free ! (The drive shaft had been damaged during the work they had done). They were so honest and upfront when they could’ve easily made out I had caused the issues and I wouldn’t of known any different. Brilliant garage and staff . My car is all sorted now and it thanks to the hard work of the staff!.
