Good customer service but the process took weeks to complete.

I was put through to Lee. He was clear, concise and listened well. It felt like he cared which isn't something you get with most customer service.

The worst customer care I have ever come across in all. my years in business, after 3 years trading through this micky mouse company I have literally had enough, sending numerous emails into their so called support team with no call back being left on the line waiting and hearing laughing in the back ground whilst trying to get support is beyond a joke. DO NOT SIGN UP TO THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT HOURS AND HOURS OF STRESS TALKING TO IMBECILES.

Our small business used EVO for 3 years prior to closure because of my retirement. EVO were streets ahead of our previous merchant payment provider: the technology was simple and worked; commission rates and terms were very favourable; customer service flawless.
No hesitation to strongly recommend.

I received a replacement machine today and I telephoned to get help setting up the wi-fi on the machine. The representative I spoke to was extremely helpful very clear when he spoke and went through everything I needed to do in a polite efficient and helpful way.

I have been using Evo via Handepay for over a year. All of a sudden, yesterday they de-activated my account unilaterally and without warning. I cannot get through to anyone to get my card payment facility back up and running. Nobody is calling me back. I am stuck with no way to collect payments from my Customers - appaling.
I hope this review spurs someone on internally to respond to a very serious situation.

Great service so far. Can not fault it. I have read the previous bad reviews But believe me I have been in retail for over 20 years and if you want better service go direct to clearing bank, which Evo is. So experiencing bad service when You go to third party providers is not Evo payment services fault.
I have dealt with “Michael Kops” at evo directly and it is great service all along. Answered my queries and even happy to assist further if needed. So to people who wrote bad reviews just one simple thing “ Do your homework before swiching or speak to Michael Kops @ Evo. Good luck folks!!!

Evo payments are a bunch of hucksters. Do not believe a word that the man in the shiny suit tells you. Once you've added in all the add-ons that are not optional eg a fast transaction fee that they won't remove even though you don't need pay-outs within 24 hours. So they charge a fee when there is no standard transaction option. And don't get me started on how much of a pain it is having to phone three companies to find out which of them takes responsibility for your problem because Merchant Rentals and their fees, Evo Payments and their fees and Handepay and there fees will really make your life a misery. Oh and did I mistakenly say "take responsibility for" because no matter what the problem all three will blame the other two and take no responsibility. I'm counting the days until I can escape their clutches. Be smart go elsewhere.

Depending on which customer service employee you speak to depends on the level help you receive. On 2 out of 3 occasions the employees were not helpful in resolving the issue I had, they did not use customer friendly lingo, and they made the whole situation more confusing. However the third person I spoke to was extremely helpful and straight forward, making this review 2 stars instead of 1.
