I have been customer of EVO for several years. Many times I have been approached by other companies for my business, but I remain loyal to EVO as they go that extra mile to ensure their pricing and support are top notch. A special thank you to Dawn for her continued assistance.

My business has been using evo since 2017 and we have had nothing but amazing experiences with them, they offer us great competitive prices, they are very helpful with anything we need. We have had a few broken terminals in the past, we always get a replacement next business day which is so helpful for us. Normally we deal with a lady called dawn plant and she is just the best. Thank you for your great service over the years EVO

⭐☆☆☆☆ Worst Payment Processor Ever – Avoid at All Costs

The worst company I’ve ever dealt with.

We’ve had a payment of £677 missing for 5 weeks, every time we speak to someone from EVO they say ‘call us back in 2-3 days’ this was the 26th of March and we are nowhere near getting our money. According to our bank it looks like EVO have sent it to a different bank account but they’re not taking responsibility. We have PROOF from our bank that the money was never sent but EVO still won’t recall our payment. Our next step is to go to small claims court to try and resolve this as we’ve given EVO more than enough time to sort this out.

I have taken over a social club that use this company. I have tried to change details but they will not let me. The previous manager set it up and only he can close it! He’s been gone over 18 months and could be anywhere! I can set up a new account but was told they will still charge for the old one. It’s not a personal account, it belongs to the social club, we are only the contact. I have never had this much trouble before with any company. This is on top of waiting half hour for them to answer and the 1st one said we didn’t exist, the 2nd took 40 mins to answer and while she was looking into it I was cut off, the 3rd took 35 minutes to answer and that’s when I was told the above! What an absolute shambles of a company. I’m sure a governing body should be looking into this shower.

Only been with them over a week and have had few issues. Contacting their customer support is almost non existent. Over an hour on hold twice only to be put through someone who dont understand how the system works.
I also wanted to change my bank details. Filled up a form and after a week they cannot find the form anymore and asked me to fill another one.
I am cancelling my account with them. Or, another card company is willing to buy out the contract.

I acknowledge that I made a mistake when I requested a chance to provide a change to my bank details; one of the numbers in my sort code was incorrect, and I apologise for that.

However, let's take a step back to review the timeline and details:

On the 8th of this month, I requested a change to my bank details. I received the necessary form and documents, which were supposed to be processed within five working days. Unfortunately, I made an error in my bank account information.

After eight days without an update, I contacted the support department about the issue, only to discover my mistake. I’m puzzled as to why it took so long to communicate this problem to me.

I resubmitted the form with the correct details, but I still have not received any information regarding the money that is on hold. On the 20th, I called again, and the staff had difficulty locating my emails. Thankfully, the man in charge was able to process my new details and informed me that I would receive my money as of yesterday.

However, I still have not received "MY MONEY" from Evo.

To summarise: There is a lack of effective customer service and support, which is disappointing, especially given that I am paying for these services. You have been holding my money from the 8th to the 23rd, and potentially for even more days. I believe I have the right to express my frustrations and would like the opportunity to speak directly with a manager to share my concerns. It’s time to address this issue of inadequate support.NON-SUPPORT, Paid!

Worst company ever, business had a change of bank details it's been 3 months still not got the money we are owed, every time I phone they give me a different reason. BE SENSIBLE DON'T JOIN THIS COMPANY

We applied for finance,past all checks etc. Offered £3000 ,accepted loan,terms & conditions etc. Told me in our account by 8pm.. nope nothing..got call cause queried why I use £100 weekly ( explain that's my overnights as I'm lorry driver away from home all week) Why daughters dla go into our account then into hers( wife is her appointee nd and that's how she's done it for years) and few other queries. This is after them and myself having gone through every detail etc. Might not be getting loan now ( applied beginning of this week,approved etc money was due in our account yesterday) bearing in mind,contract is sign/ agreed/ payments set up etc. They're in breach of contract their end not ours. So peed off.

Terrible service wont belive ive closed my account
Closed my buisness in december told them i wanted to close account they wouldnt let me it had to be done via my till supplier xepos. So after loads emails phonecalls and 800 pounds later as had to pay 14 months rental and early termination fee and return card machine in feb. They are still sending me bills for not using the card machine. I have rang them various times and the say xepos have not informed them not my fault. I have told them and sent them all the supporting documents that prove i have paid and returned machine to xepos and still they keep sending me bills.

Absolutely useless when trying sort out a problem. was told basically nothing we can do...bye.

Michael the first CS I spoke to, rude would be understatement. Absolutely no help whatsoever. same with the second person. phoned a third time and again no help. very very poor. avoid if you can.

I have dealt with Dawn for many years, always professional and quick to sort out any problems, we have been cashless since covid and are now requesting a second unit. We have had account quiries in the past that have always been sorted out to our satisfaction.

Amazing service, and all concerns are always met with a swift response.

Sally was really helpful in guiding us to the right package. EVO card payments are really easy to use and really well integrated, with the best rates. Would recommend EVO to anyone looking for a card machine.

I signed up to Takepayments, I specified my requirement of the pre authorisation function on the terminal when signing up. Evo payments have not enabled the function, despite my contacting them two weeks ago, I have provided a scenario of a transaction to them by email on Friday 14th Feb and they did not reply, and they have not contacted me since. Useless!

I must say i've found Evo to be a fine company to use with the two staff members I have encountered, Sally in sales and Dawn in customer retention, delivering outstanding service. Sally was fantastic when we joined 18 months ago and following an in contract increase, which caused me to consider changing provider, I spoke with Dawn who was equally as fantastic and helped work with us to come to a reasonable solution. As a business, their prices are fair but the reason I have reviewed so highly is to praise the service. Both Sally and Dawn were understanding of our needs and dealt with a plethora of questions from myself in an understanding way. As a customer I have been made to feel valued which is not always the case with larger providers and this should be praised.

Very poor customer services, when you make a complaint, they will never come back.
