East Midlands Water Co. only delivers through DPD who charge almost £9 for a delivery. The service is dreadful because you are given slot to wait fir delivery and many emails sent to say ...we are delivering etc... but they DO NOT DELIVER TO YOUR DOOR. You get a notice to say that it has been delivered to a pick up point which is NOT what you have paid for and is inconvenient and NOT what they advertised making you wait at home for delivery. MY item could have easily been put in my mail box as it was very small and I was home waiting anyway. When I complained to EMWC response was ... take it up with DPD... it is not our problem ... we did our bit..
WASTE OF TIME AND TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE
EMWC showed no concern for the awful service I was experiencing with their awful delivery partner and the misinformation that they and DPD gave me and waste of time.

I have been a customer of this company for 22 plus years and up till recently all worked reasonably well as there was no customer contact. I can only echo a number of other poor ratings following an awful experience when trying to contact them. I recently moved house and no longer require the filter services. I initially contacted the company and was told to call back a week later as there had been problems. I called back a week later and was told to email the Accounts Team. After a week or so I contacted again as there had been no reply to be told to submit the email again as the people worked from home and do not take calls. After a week or so no reply so I called again and demanded the MDs details, told they don't have one as they have retired. No managers apparently either. Everything must be done by email, so asked that I be contacted by the Accounts folk today. Unsurprisingly no call received so called again and insisted the issue was sorted. Finally spoke to an Accounts person who said that I had been given the wrong email address which is nonsense as no failure messages received and the contact could see my emails. I have a credit balance but will not be refunded but a credit left on the account should I wish to buy anything else. I would avoid this company at all cost as they will do anything to avoid dealing with customers and appear a completely shambolic organisation.

Purchased a water softener from EMWC and they were so helpful on the telephone. Also any subsequent doubts or problems are sorted straight away in a friendly manner. Would thoroughly recommend this company.

Purchased incorrect item online but was able to cancel same before ordered when out. Ordered and paid for the correct items which came quickly and are perfect. I have emailed and rang re the refund on the incorrect order which was over 600, this issue has now be resolved. Would recommend the filters

Excellent advice and fast delivery. However, DPD delivery left it on our front door step when we were out instead of our safe place 🙄

This was a repeat order. I buy fresh filters for my big blue every 6 months. I always go with EMW because they have a good choice of filters and always a speedy delivery.
