As always, excellent service - fast delivery and correct items. Good quality goods.

Easy to use web site, lots of choice all at great prices and great quality. Prompt delivery. The bedding is excellent sort and comfortable.

Have ordered twice both times roller fridge storage.
2 different couriers.
BOTH times I found broken off bits of clear plastic from the inside of the items rattling around in package.
It would be easier to blame couriers but frankly the packaging was very poor with items able to move a lot and only a bit of brown paper in box.
2 orders! Same problem!

Second time trying to get a stair runner and rugs from them. DHL have lost/stolen the parcels and now DunHELL is saying they don’t recognise the order no. Get in a queue with a robot, told they are asking for assistance and then they close the chat on me. £250 they owe me!!!!! Yes I am fuming.

The SH Lux vertical Stripe velvet headboard (floor standing in grey) looks very good in my bedroom. Delivery was prompt and the men took it upstairs for me.

The products themselves in store are lovely.
However ordering these online is a big mistake. Two seperate items, poorly wrapped and both broken in multiple places upon arrival. Will only shop in store from now on

We ordered a rug but when it arrived we did not like it but we were away on holiday and therefore could not return it until we got back.
We had no record of the transaction and by the time we found out how to return it it was too late according to the standard terms and conditions.

I had a fantastic experience at Dunelm Romford and wanted to specifically recognise Kenedy for her exceptional customer service.

I recently moved into a new home and initially visited the store just to explore my options for made-to-measure blinds and curtains, roller blinds, Roman blinds and other home items. Kenedy was extremely knowledgeable and professional, clearly explaining the different product types, measurements and options available, and helping me understand what would best suit my needs and home.

I was particularly impressed by how straightforward and helpful her advice was, without ever being pushy. The service and product breakdown were so helpful that I actually travelled back all the way from Harwich to Romford to complete my purchases.

Kenedy also made sure I benefited from an available discount code, which saved me almost £200 on my overall purchase — a very welcome saving when furnishing a new home!

To top it off, when I purchased a piece of furniture that needed dismantling, Kenedy helped with this and, together with a colleague, assisted me in getting it to the parking area.

Overall, excellent customer service from start to finish — professional, knowledgeable, patient and genuinely helpful. Kenedy is a real credit to the Dunelm Romford team and made the whole experience much easier.

I wanted a simple doorbell. I couldn't find one in store. I asked at the desk and the staff were very helpful and found d the only doorbell in stock. After they had gone to so much trouble I felt I had to take it but it wasn't what I wanted and I will have to take it back.

Although the packaging was extensive, two items arrived badly damaged, affecting their use. I order online as I have difficulty getting to and walking around a store, however certain items can only be collected in-store! Why can't Dunelm make everything readily available online? I've missed out on many items and Dunelm have lost a sale because it can't be delivered to me at home.
Also online returns need to be made easier, items damaged enroute isn't the customer's fault after all! If I order online, I expect to return it online free of charge if damaged...

This company operates on weaponised incompetence. Their returns and associated gift card policy is purposefully set up to maximise money which is particularly poor to see when the products delivered are often broken, made cheaply or very different to that advertised. Customer service follows in a similar manner aiming to make it as difficult as possible to return or refunds goods. Never shop here if you want quality items or an easy shopping experience.

I had to chase my order as it didn't turn up well after the date, it's not easy to get through and then I was told it had been cancelled,i saw no refund. The lady said they'd send it again, it finally turned up, happy with the product but not happy with the process

Excellent quality and service

The products were good but the service we received was not what we expected. We had 13 blinds measured, spending over £2k but 7 out of 13, although measured correct, were made wrong. Eventually put right apart from the night and day blind which , first of all was made wrong, then it wasn’t re ordered so we went back to Dunelm again who then said it was re ordered but upon checking for the third time it wasn’t. Product now delivered and awaiting fitting next week. Let’s hope it’s correct at the 4th attempt.,

I like that Dunelm does try to make a difference to the community. And when things go well they're good to use. I've just had a really bad experience. I ordered some sheets and paid for express delivery because I needed them in a hurry. The confirmation of the order said that they would be delivered next had. I arrived home to once part of the order delivered but no sign of the duvet sets. I've checked online and they were suddenly scheduled for delivery in 2 weeks. I didn't receive any email to tell me about the stock/delivery failure. I did get a refund but because I paid part in vouchers and part by credit card I got the refund on the vouchers which I now have no need for because I got the sheets somewhere else because I needed them urgently. Apparently there's no way any of the customer service people can override that as a default setting.

I have recently visited your Laisterdyke store in Bradford regarding curtain poles and curtains. On both occasions we were given lots of help and advice from Patrick( Paddy). He is exceptional and a real asset to your store. Have spoken with other members who were helpful in assisting us with ordering certain poles and curtains and the quickest way to receive thrm. Such helpful pleasant staff. Well done Dunelm at Laisterdyke store in Bradford, West Yorkshire.

I was unable to return an item because I didn't have a physical receipt; when I made the purchase I was only provided with an electronic receipt via email.

The shop assistant said electronic receipts can only be used to return orders placed online, and I bought in store. Eventually he allowed me to exchange the item for one in a different colour, so I have awarded an additional star.

Dunelm should not push for electronic receipts that are not worth the paper they would be written on.
