This company is hard work
Their payments is very frustrating. I tried to pay via PayPal but didn’t come off the invoice and got 2 more emails to pay . Had to forward screenshot of payment even though I put invoice number on it. Coins are nice but I won’t be using their services again

Demand for payment
Dear sirs, I purchased 1 coin from you and sent a cheque to you with the payment slip you sent me as soon as I received the coin. However you have not presented this so far as I can see, yet you keep threatening me to pay.I have tried to contact you by the phone number you advertise but this is unobtainable. I have also emailed and got no response. I am reluctant to pay by other means until I discuss this with you as I don't want to pay twice and it will cost to stop a cheque. Please contact me to discuss or provide me with a obtainable telephone number. I am unable to call you to discuss as the number you give is unobtainable also the email reply to you is getting blocked. Can you please call me?please contact me by telephone to clarify this demand. I still can't contact you by email or telephone. PLEASE CONTACT ME ASAP. In response to this review Adrienne called me and it transpired that because my cheque was made out in pounds not euros it was rejected. She helped me to make a payment in Euros which has resolved the issue to everyone's satisfaction. I therefore have updated this review and rating.

Finacial trouble/help
After getting into a pickle financially, I contacted Dublin Mint Office and spoke to Marie. I explained my situation and after a short wait, Marie had everything sorted in a way that suited me and DMO!!!

They will just keep spamming you
Should you buy anything from them, you can expect to be bombarded by junk mail until end of the universe.
You can opt out from marketing via your customer account or by talking to representative personally, but it doesn't matter. They will keep spamming you anyway.
They will send you offers for coins well above their value and might even "pre-order" coins for you without your input. Check google for horror stories about this company and their predatory practices.
If you look at gold sovereigns they offer, the same coins can be bought elsewhere at 1/3 of the price Dublin Mint Office is asking.
I had to open case with Data Protection Commission as they kept sending me junk mail spam. I regret ever buying from them.
They're obviously preying on people not familiar with numismatics with their scummy tactics and very high prices.

Excellent customer service
I left ordering for Christmas until last minute. I was so worried that I wouldn't receive the coins in time to gift them so I reached out to customer service to see if anything could be done. Unfortunately it was down to the postal service and out of control due to my own lateness. There was an error somewhere on the site but Marie was so helpful and kind assisting and going above and beyond for me. The coins arrived in time and my father in law was ecstatic. He's an avid coin collector and was in awe of everything down to the packaging of the coins themselves. From the first to the last corrospondence with Marie, I felt very assured and I have no hesitations now in ordering in the future. Give this lady a raise for dealing with my anxiety alone, not to mention how she handled the error and the follow ups. So appreciated!

Got the first coin for postage only, fine. Then got several emails and calls. They asked me did I want a free coin I said yes, they sent out a bill which I forgot to pay. Several emails and phone calls later my bill is up to €77, don’t know how. Now getting threating mails and letters. Got phone call and when she was challenged she hung up.
Terrible staff, terrible company. Was told to stay away but saw no harm. Until they started sending items out

Helpful, pleasant and friendly. I spoke to Myfanwy today who was checking if I had received my latest purchase and if I was happy with it. She seemed genuinely interested in my opinion.
