Drivalia UK - LIVERPOOL CITY Arvostelua 

Booked to pick car up this morning as we had previously used this company and had excellent customer service from kinza who was not there today, unfortunately today we were unable to even leave with a car as the car was booked in my wife’s name but I wanted to use my credit card for the deposit but this was refused even though this is exactly what we did last time with no extra cost and no problem.

Easy pick up and drop off, great location for coming in and out of the city. Thanks Dan and team.

We booked through Ryanair and when we arrived to the desk we were told that the credit cards we had could not be accepted as the numbers on the cards were flat rather than raised. This then incurred a £50 a day charge on top of what was already paid for the car. We had never received this in any terms and conditions that were sent from Ryanair. When we returned the car a few days later there was someone else having the same issue as us at the desk so be warned and book elsewhere if possible.

Took my car back 5 days early because I had no confirmation, due to their system being down. I thought I only hired for 23 days but when taking back one of the nice customer service guy told me it was 5 days early! Anyway, returned car because it’s served its purpose. The service from both the guys was impeccable. Really busy hire car place and the staff work extremely hard. The system was down and he still kept his cool.Very polite and welcoming. Car was reliable. The price was excellent.

Dan was incredibly helpful and the car was in amazing shape.

I’ve been using these guys for some time now. Initially, it was because they keep later hours than the on site companies at Liverpool airport. But I use them now even when the others are open as they’re competitively priced.
The staff are always friendly and accommodating. Peter and Liam are the only names I remember though!

Great customer service! I have to mention Jack at The Liverpool branch. He was very patience, understanding and kind to me.
I arrived on my own not prepared ( lesson learned always read ALL the small print) he helped me to sort my paperwork and was so patient.
I found out he has only been with the company for a matter of weeks, an asset to the company.

I fly to Liverpool often and have used most of the car rental companies based at Liverpool Airport. I've used Drivalia for my last two visits and plan to use them going forward. Their prices are competitive and the cars are new and spotlessly clean.
What really stands out though are the staff. Everyone I have encountered has been friendly, helpful and professional. When I landed I called their office and was collected within a couple of minutes. The minibus driver was friendly, chatty and made you feel comfortable. The car collection was quick and easy as I had uploaded all the required documents in advance. Literally swiped my credit card, did a walk around the car and then I was on my way. Equally hassle free on return, a quick check on the car and then I was dropped off at the airport terminal. Highly recommended.

Drivalia is highly recommended. We received a great service (including an unexpected upgrade) and incredible support from a highly qualified and kind staff. A particular mention for the staff on duty in the afternoon of Monday 29/1 in the Liverpool city agency (Vauxhall Road).

Great guy called Greg booked me out and checked me back in. No problems at all. Everything explained properly. Fast friendly service. Never had a problem with Drivalia in this branch, or Liverpool airport. Would definately recommend.

I would consider this car rental company absolutely despicable.
1. They looked for two utility bills on top of the driving licence check and the licence issued across the counter.
2. If you had purchased insurance through the broker then, it would not be paid out after an accident if you did not have a witness with you. There is no dash camera in the vehicle rented out.
3. After purchasing insurance from them directly, I was told that neither glass or wheels on the vehicle rented is covered by the insurance.
4. If you have an early flight the office that is 1.3 miles away from Liverpool Airport is not opened until 6am, and if you are ready at 6am then you have to wait until they are ready.
5.When I made the person that opened up on the 27th of January 2024
that I haSaturdayd an early flight and could he please process the vehicle that I had rented. Foul language was used against me and I was offered no written confirmation to confirm that the vehicle I returned was not damaged or not damaged in any way.
5. Also both another customer and myself was delayed because the computer system that was being used crashed and would not work correctly when I was being registered on the 25th of January 2024.
I would not advise anyone to use this car rental company at Liverpool Airport in the future. That is why they are cheap, they get the money from you when you standing at the counter.
