Awful experience
Awful experience, misled/lied to by the engineer on arrival and charged £450 for a service that made no difference. Would avoid at all costs, recent reviews on other platforms would agree with me.
Did contact aftercare but absolute zero interest in helping out.
AVOID!!!

We’re sorry to hear that you’re unhappy with the service provided. We have tried to contact you by telephone and have also emailed you directly to discuss your concerns.
Following the DPF clean, the engineer advised that the MAP sensor required urgent replacement and that an engine oil service was required as soon as possible.
Once the MAP sensor has been replaced and the engine oil service has been completed, we can arrange for the engineer to revisit the vehicle under our aftercare warranty and investigate the issue further.
We would be happy to discuss this with you directly and work towards resolving your concerns.

The Engineer arrived on time and was professional, My car a 2010 Mercedes benz e250 cdi had a DPF issue coded “P2463 Particulate Filter Restriction - Soot Accumulation” with a check engine light. This was resolved and car was worked on within 1.5 hours and after we went for a test drive with improved performance noted and no check engine light. I would recommend this service for anyone not wanting to go to the shop. Prices were fair.

Cleaning was so straight forward and done really quickly.
Ioan went above and beyond. I am having a lot of issues with the car at the moment following a recent service and MOT. Ioan was able to assist me in the direction of what to raise with the garage and even point out potentially unsafe aspects of the work they'd done. Went above and beyond, couldn't ask for more

Rip off / Terrible service and overcharged
Terrible service and overcharged - Avoid DPF Fixer Rip off do not use
I had a very bad experience with DPF Fixer.
I called them for DPF cleaning. I was quoted £330
Total with VAT: £330
Booking Fee Paid: £150.00
Balance Outstanding: £180 total. They asked for a £150 deposit upfront with the balance to be paid after the job was completed.
Their engineer attended, sat in the car and ran a diagnostic, during which a significant amount of diesel was used. After this, he got out and told me my DPF was "gone" and needed replacing.
I found this suspicious. I contacted another specialist who did a proper DPF clean for less than the amount they charged me. The job was completed in 30 minutes and my car is now back to normal performance.
In my opinion this was not an honest diagnosis. DPF Fixer took my money and caused me a lot of unnecessary stress. I would not recommend them

We’re sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the service.
We would always carry out the DPF clean if we believed it was likely to be successful. In this case, our engineer identified several signs during the diagnostic checks that led them to suspect the DPF may be damaged, and therefore a clean could not be recommended.
We’re happy to look into your concerns further. Please contact our aftercare team at aftercare@dpf-fixer.co.uk so we can review the details of your visit.
