DNA Insurance Arvostelua 

DNA insurance have cancelled my car insurance policy even though i called them to let them know I was not able to pay the monthly installment. They agreed it would be fine to pay it on my next pay day and now I have received a letter to say my policy has been cancelled. The customer service is rubbish. They say they have no record of the call I made but have records fo the letters being signed by..

Absolutely useless customer service ! Avoid this company.

I've had a policy with them for a few months, this month I paid them their DD, and a few days later they contact me saying that it didnt go through, I checked, it had gone through, and they threatened me with another payment (I didn't have the money, as who has £820 they can spend on car insurance a month ew £390 x2 + £30 for a "late charge") When that payment didnt go through, they consistently started calling and threatening me, DO NOT BUY INSURANCE FROM THIS COMPANY, IT IS A SCAM

Very dodgy insurance company, they are trying to take money from people instead of giving back. A guy called Rob, who dealt with my insurance policy, was not professional or considerate in any sort of way. I have not had the policy for a month and already having problems. I tried cancelling and retrieve my deposit back and they tried taking that as a cancelling fee. This company should be closed down and I advise no one to go with this company. I will be taking further actions towards this company.

I will be talking to the insurance ombudsman to make a complaint and get this resolved.

The worst insurance company I have dealt with by far. I don’t get any responses at all from them. Currently on call now as well and they have just put me back on hold again. All I have asked for is my insurance documents. Very quick to take money. I would not recommend

Horrific. They allow people to make a claim on your policy without even calling you to check its legitimate, then you find out upon renewal and they then proceed to not insure you again. Meaning you are rejected from insurance and cannot easily get elsewhere as now you have been declined insurance. We will be taking them to court.
Go with anyone but DNA!

Just renewed again with DNA for another year, I think that makes 15 years I've been with them now.
The service was great and after some discussions about the cover required and the pricing we came to an amicable agreement.
DNA were acquired by Aston Lark last year, the service has remained really good, only change is that wait times when phoning them have increased.

I will never recommend any motor trader to take any insurance policy from DNA insurance, they trap the people providing less information, giving cheap trade quote and providing rubbish insurance policy.
When I took the policy was told by advisor can add up to 10 cars on policy but after taking policy and paying them I am tied as slave and only can put 6 cars on policy. Then advisor told me you can always add and remove the cars but it was found that I have to call or message them to add or remove every car. Now new thing came once I remove the car then insurance don't allow to add the car again which is very silly thing.
Dna is worst company, with dodgy staff, please People don't waste your time and money by taking any policy from them.

We had insurance with DNA some one hit us on yellow box junction we were not paid in fact the other person was paid .
After paying over £150 a month.

My MotorTrade was due for renewal and I have been put in touch with DNA that offered quite a good value. As I'm trading from home, they "forgot" to mention that there will be a limit of 5 max vehicles I can have in the same time. As the policy didn't suited my needs I asked if this can be increased and apparently it cannot.
I had to cancel and despite the agent telling me upon quoting that if there are any issues with the quote I have the right to cancel FREE of charge 2 weeks after the start of the policy, now there are taking a lot of fees which they want to deduct from the deposit I paid.
I thought they are a serious company but they avoid saying key things hoping you will go ahead and take the insurance with them and then they charge you for everything. Plus that I had to call days in the row to be able to cancel... I would STAY AWAY from them as they are deliberately hiding things so they can take money from you.

Looking at the reply, I mentioned cancellation hasn’t been stated over the phone, instead a grace period was mentioned. You are sending documents after the deposit has been paid and insurance has been taken. My point is clear you are deliberately misleading people so you can charge your fees afterwards, even if the product isn’t suitable. How does that work? We are all in the trade for money, but the way you are making them is wrong and people should know about your practices!

Don’t fall for a few pounds they are saving you, go with a trusted provider as these guys will never have your back.
