I have been close to people who have used legal service companies in respect of claims, and have seen them have a range of experiences. I'm happy to say that my experience with DLG has been top notch and I'm glad that I followed the recommendation for them from my insurers following a car accident. The initial consultation felt thorough and complete, with the advisors being bright, capable and kind. The status and progress of my claim has always been easy to access and I have never had to chase for any information or for any steps to be taken. I have felt attended to at all times and responses to my queries have been prompt, complete and considered. All of the staff that I've encountered have been great but, in particular, Rose, who has managed my case has been superb. I did not necessarily expect to have a single point of contact with a big company for a RTA claim, but it has made a huge amount of difference. Rose has been attentive, professional and has made me feel confident that my case has been given its best chance of the result it deserves. I would absolutely recommend DLG to anybody searching for a company or who have received DLG as a suggestion from their insurers.

My claim started on September 2024, I had two case handlers in this time. My first one was not the best I then got told Amy Robison would be taking over my claim, from then I had constant updates, I was being kept in the loop about everything that was going on in my claim, she was very understanding and helpful when it came to my all my queries and questions, she also helped me receive a early interim payment then 3 months later I was paid my full settlement. She was amazing from start to finish. Would highly recommend. (I also had the pleasure of being helped by Richard Hutchinson he was also amazing the times he dealt with me when Amy wasn’t available). I wouldn’t have been able to get the out of court outcome I did without her professionalism!

My case was effectively a “barn-door” matter in which the defendant’s negligence in causing my injury was clear and had been accepted even before I approached DLG. Despite this, my initial contact with the DLG team was disappointing. I felt there was limited engagement with my case and that my concerns were not being properly listened to. This only improved after I raised an initial complaint.

Throughout the process, I found that I had to repeatedly prompt the DLG team to obtain updates and to ensure that progress was being made. To be fair, when I did make contact, I usually received a prompt response. However, the responsibility for driving the case forward often felt as though it rested with me rather than with my legal representatives.

I also felt consistent pressure to settle the claim for a significantly lower sum than I believed was appropriate. This was substantially below both my own expectations and the figures suggested by other sources. Ultimately, I have been advised to settle for an amount that I believe to be much less than I had reasonably expected given the circumstances of the case.

In 2021 I was embroiled in a dispute following a beauty treatment involving lasers that went horribly and painfully wrong.
Since shortly after that date, DLG have been fighting on my behalf for redress (I am not a litigious person so, to begin with, an acceptance of the blame and a simple apology would have sufficed, but, sadly, was not forthcoming).
The defendant was elusive and BRYCE HERRMANNSEN of DLG worked diligently and assiduously on my behalf and consequently a very fair settlement was reached thanks to his efforts. I would highly recommend this company, they work hard to support their clients, and are friendly and communicative.

The lady at DLG legal rang as part of the claim process following a bad car accident I had several weeks ago.
She had a difficult job as it required me to go through the accident in detail, bringing back memories of the shock and pain gine through at the time.
She was extremely caring and sympathetic whilst professional at all times.
It made the call manageable for me and I am very grateful for her approach and kindness.

In this day of remote technology it is good to know talking to someone about difficult things can be pleasant and helpful.

Our court claim has had lasted over 5 years with so many different case handler’s. We have had at least 5/6 different handler’s who have not understood our claim.
However our latest case handler Hevy Kahlil has been on the ball and kept us in the loop at all stages.. she has managed to settle without us going to court which we feel is brilliant service. She is a absolute credit to DLG..

-) Someone drove into my car on a mini roundabout three and half years ago.
-) November 2024 Churchill passed my case over to DLG Legal Services.
-) I noticed that DLG had the defendants name as Mr and in fact it was his wife who was driving at the time of the incident.
-) I highlighted this numerous times to DLG - However, they ignored me every time I raised this, and still took it to Court.
-) I looked back over the Court documents a week before Court date and highlighted the defendants name is wrong once again, Mr and should be Mrs.
-) I went to Sevenoaks Court as told to by DLG for the Court hearing, the Court clerk told me that my case is not in the system.
-) The case has been discontinued, and that DLG have pulled the case out of Court on 22nd October, a week before.
-) After calling DLG they stated they pulled this out of Court because it was filed in the wrong name. therefore we are not proceeding. I told DLG about the wrong name over a year ago. Why was this left till the 11th hour?
-) No one let me know, therefore, I waisted a morning and a 2 hour journey.
-) DLG complaints emails keeps coming back us undelivered. I therefore, forwarded my email on to DLG normal email address. with no response.
-) I have not heard anything from anyone since Court date 27th October.

Terrible service and incompetent.

Edit: To date no one from DLG Legal Services has been in contact, as of 20th November 2025

During the handling of the injury claim I have had to contact multiple times for updates after not hearing anything for weeks. After finally reaching payout I called to ask for an update about payment, I was told next week. I called the week after being told it’s been escalated. 3rd call chasing the payout it turns out they don’t even have the bank details for payout… we’re still waiting for payout over a month after the settlement was resolved.

Terrible customer service, slow to reach a resolution and very poor communication throughout.

Unless you have to, please don’t bother wasting your time for the 25% commission you’ll lose on top of the terrible handling you’ll experience. It seems that they just don’t have things together, very amateur handling.
