Me…… Rapidly Losing patience and confidence in DLG LAW.

My wife and I had a minor road accident in Feb 2025. Our stationary car was crashed into at low speed by a Tesco Delivery van.

The mechanical damage was minor, similarly my injuries as the 77 year old driver were of no major consequence. In short :- basic whiplash, neck and shoulders muscles stiff and sore.

My wife age 75 in the passenger seat had more challenging whiplash, neck, shoulder, rib and back muscular injuries.

My wife’s injuries - Uncomfortable, painful and more serious than my issues, but in physical terms not of major consequence.

Additionally my wife, diagnosed with Alzehimers/Dementia presented additional stress, fear and anxiety symptoms. I felt it reasonable that Tesco insurers paid some level of compensation for my wife’s stress and anxiety.

To this end I took a video of my wife on the night of the crash and forwarded a copy to DLG as visual evidence,

To their credit Tesco and their insurers accepted liability and total fault.

It appeared to me to be an unfortunate incident, but one that would be amicably sorted in good will quite rapidly.

We are now 7 months into the process. To date my wife and I have been bombarded with a confusing and voluminous array of emails, forms and a requirement for signatures, details and demands for wavers and signatures sacrificing our rights in favour of DLG!

OK, there is no such thing as a free lunch and I accepted DLG be entitled
to reasonable fees.

In principal I accept accurate information a prerequisite for DLG to secure their position, BUT this was a simple, low value and minor accident.

The compensation my wife and I were seeking was minimal amounting to hundreds and not thousands of pounds.

7 months on, a nightmare of confusion and lack of information from DLG the issues are NOT resolved.

Our experience with DLG had been beyond poor and set to continue for months to come.

I intend to update Trust Pilot on my experience with DLG as it develops.

On their performance to date I would respectfully suggest to anyone considering engaging DLG Law NOT to proceed.

Based on my experience with DLG Law I think potential clients would do much better to engage a small time local solicitor as opposed to the DLG Behemoth.

Their positive experience in no resemblance what I have experienced and continue to wrestle with in my dealings with DLG and their Associates. I smell a RAT?!

I had a car accident and DLG have been amazing! definitely recommend.

I have been passed from pillar to post, every time I email my case worker she replied with an email to say she is not in until the following week, this has happened multiple times. I'm over 3 years in and this process is becoming more traumatic than the accident. There are items I need like a mobility scooter and bathroom adjustments which the compensation would go towards but I'm left in the dark almost all the way.

Following a car accident a couple of years ago, DLG Legal Services have been amazing in their support and communication through this process. My latest experience of DLG legal services has been excellent. My solicitor ( Christian) really understood my issue and my feeling of helplessness and was very supportive and attentive. He put a lot of himself into the case and I would thoroughly recommend him.

Informative, professional approach,

Very good company, very professional and reliable the lawyer knows his job

This is the most unprofessional and most useless legal services I have come across in my life. They don’t respond and they have decisions made up by themselves at their whims and fancies. My case has been dragging for a year now. And it’s paltry £216 they are arguing on. Loss of work … no no. It feels like they are representing the other party. I should have gone to Neil Hudgell and they would have done the best job for me. Utterly useless and unprofessional people.
