Their customer service is terrible
Their customer service is terrible. I received a dress on 4/27, returned it on 5/24 according to them it was outside the 30-day return window and sent me the dress back. My mother and I shop a lot at Dillard's (the one at Eagle Ridge) but never again!
Extremely unhelpful and uncaring poor customer service
I ordered gifts for a bridal shower and when I opened the box what was supposed to be gift wrapping was everything jammed into a too small box causing the "giftbox" to break and be misshapen with the contents coming out. I called customer service requesting they send a larger box that was not broken. I was told "there is no way to send out a gift box"! What? Seriously? Very unapologetic, unconcerned about the quality they are sending out and dismissive. Poor customer service to say the least. They had no desire to rectify this issue.

My refund went to the wrong card and the store Manager at Dillards at Stonecrest Mall location said they cant do a reverse, And that I should've been more clearer. She blamed me for the mistake of the sales lady. Very unsatisfied customer. I feel as though I've been robbed. Never again will I shop at Dillards.

I received a dress that was damaged and I was able to return it to the Lubbock Tx store without issue and full refund. I did call the customer service in Hurst Tx store because they should have never sent a dress that was split out on both sides. They too were apologetic and assured me they would speak to the person that packaged it.

I ordered a michael kors belt from the website. It was displayed on the website as a black belt with silver tone hardware which is exactly what I was looking for. When I received my package the belt had goldtone hardware. I contacted Dillards right away and customer service was very unprofessional. The woman on the phone was very rude and argued with me stating that the photo online had gold hardware when clearly it did not.. I ended up having to pay for return shipping which is BS because I should’ve been reimbursed since it was false advertisement. Now a week later, I see they've changed the photos on the website to the black with the gold. I assume they've had multiple issues with this because of what was originally displayed. Beware. Their customer service is horrible.!! Needless to say, I will never order from this company ever again. P.S, the same belt is on sale at Neiman Marcus for $10 cheaper. Neiman Marcus has amazing customer service. Plus you get free shipping and returns.
Horrible merchandise
Horrible merchandise - cheap material, exceptionally poor quality. What a disappointment since they were once a premier store. Charged me for the return label? Seriously? Customer service was not the best. I returned the items; hopefully they will credit my card, otherwise I'll have to go through the process of getting a refund and I can't imagine that will be a pleasant experience.
WORST COMPANY EVER
This is by far the worst company I've ever shopped from. If I could give this negative stars, I would. I wanted to order a nice, cute prom dress and it fits too small and I decide to return it. I PAY for the return label and just because it did not arrive on time at their warehouse, they send my item back to my house. I call customer service and their very rude, disrespectful and they are not understanding at ALL. They do not even offer store credit! Do not. I repeat. DO NOT shop from here. You are better off shopping from Macys.

Worst Customer Service. Needed an item very fast. Ordered it. They didn't offer any fast shipping. After two days the status was still Searching. I started to call them. First lady said she can't help me I have to wait. Second one took all my billing info and sent it to some department. Still noting. Third call tels me I have to wait. Then I'm getting a cancellation message on my phone. I'm calling them they say I have to wait my card didnt go through or they didn't know the real issue. And for everything that I'm asking they say we can't help you. I even asked for msome discount and they said no. Just lost my time. Better order from Macy's or Bloomingdale next time. Return Policy is a Ripoff!
I bought a shirt at Dillard's online, after checking to make sure that it was not in stock at either of the Dillard's near me. The shipping charge was $9.95. The shirt did not fit, so I returned it. Dillard's charged me another $9.95 for the return AND deducted the amount of tax from my refund. Don't know why I should have to pay the tax on a returned purchase. Also, other stores will order for you at no charge if the item is sent to the store and you pick it up, but Dillard's would not do this. I will not order from them again.

I absolutely despise companies that are like this. THEY made a mistake and made ME pay for it. I emailed multiple times and never got a single response. I would not recommend it at all, plenty of other companies actually have good customer service, so go elsewhere. The only email they ever sent me, they failed to tell me I would be the one paying for the return, despite the return reason being damaged shoes.

Adrienna Papell long beaded gown purchased at Dillards.com was received with a 6x6 inch square of missing beads on the back shoulder. Product info never stated that it was damaged. Dillards shipping department shipped knowing of this defect.
My advise is to open and try review your product when you receive it. Also return it ASAP once it is discovered.

Great customer service
My godmother and godfather came into Dillard's to buy a dress for my nephew baptism. While there they experienced great customer experience with a lady name De De she helped them to dressing room and then proceed to find my godmother a beautiful dress but she didn't stop there she even went down stairs and found her a nice pair of shoes and bought them back upstairs so she could try on with dress they both loved them but to top it off she help her down to first floor while my godfather got car and walked her out and asst her into car with seatbelts on both of them. I have never experienced such tremendous customer service at Dillard's. I will always shop there our whole family we was over excited with her and the store will you please let her know we love her and my family can't wait to meet her. Dillard's keep hiring people like here with her kindness we no longer going to Macy's were Dillard's for life! Thanks again their both 87 and my godmother walks with cane due to her bad hip so it's very hard for her to get around without help.

I am thrilled with my recent experience at Dillards. I had to purchase a black tie evening gown and shoes. Dillards had everything I was looking for. They had the best price point, quality materials, made in the USA. Additionally, the staff was very helpful and the store, Dillards at North Park Mall in Dallas was immaculate! Thank you Dillards!!

I ordered my daughters daddy daughter dress and shoes and paid for expedited shipping. They failed to make the shipping label until late in the afternoon causing the order to be delayed until Monday. FedEx states that Dillards can call and still have it delivered on Friday. Dillards said they will not call or rectify the situation. I will never shop here again. The supervisors are rude and speak over you! I am out of state on an emergency and they have ruined this occasion! Don’t advertise expedited shipping and accept payment if you aren’t going to do your part!

I bought 4 pairs of boots online from Dillards. Waited until I got all 4 to decide which pair looked and fit the best. I also purchased 2 tops.
I then sent back 3 pairs of boots, after deciding on one pair. I printed out the return labels, boxed them carefully and took to the post office. This was a week ago. Today, I received my package back in the mail!!! Dillards said it was over 30 days from the date of ordering and would not honor my return!!!!

Dillard’s sent me a dress with Christmas gifts I had ordered. It wasn’t mine. After the holidays I called and told them about the error. Took them a while to figure it out. I was returning some other items so they asked me to include with those. I did and returned all of them. I try to always be honest n do right thing.
I had forgotten that I purchased slippers in September n they had torn apart at the seam. I should have discusses w them at that time. I forgot.
Went to local Dillard’s with receipt from 9/2022. By December they had torn up. They said so sorry.
I called customer service today to see if they received lost item I returned. Yes they did. Explained my slipper situation n they said so sorry.

Sale - so I’m S.O.L! I guess Dillard’s assumes everything you buy from them will fit. What a pathetic policy- shame on Dillard’s for such poor policies and customer service- my business will now go elsewhere.

I returned two pieces of clothing in San Antonio January 27. Both had come apart the first time they were worn. The sales person kept saying that it was over 30 days and couldn’t be returned. I purchased on December 29! Next the excuse was they were worn. Yes, they fell apart the first time worn! Next was the tags were removed. I don’t wear clothes with sales tags on them. Anything not to refund my money on poorly made, expensive clothing. Really sad that they won’t stand behind their products. I had sales receipt. Should have not been an issue.
