Digital River bucht bei PayPal von meinem Konto 93,- Euro ab für ein PC-Programm, das ich nicht bestellt habe. PayPal belastet mein Girokonto und verweigert die Rückzahlung mit dem Bemerken, dass ich DR zur Abbuchung ermächtigt hätte. Es wird gar nicht berücksichtigt, dass es eine ungerechtfertigte Abbuchung war. Offenbar arbeitet PayPal mit Betrügern zusammen. Aufgrund der massenhaften Beschwerden über unberechtigte Abbuchungen hätte PayPal schon lange die Zusammenarbeit mit DR kündigen müssen.

I have an automatic yearly payment....l do not know what for. Cannot cancel on their website, it just keeps going round in circles. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Scammers.
Charged me 224 euro. The order failed. I recieved no order number. I can not ask for a refund as no order was made. But they still took my money. What am I suppose to do

My Windows 7 laptop had became my NON-Internet computer – simply for management of my spreadsheets.
AVAST! replied to an earlier email of mine that
“No refund is due as you’ve missed the 30-day Money Back Guarantee period”
But also commented “The automatic renewal for your subscription has been cancelled.”

On April 29th, I had reason to briefly connect this old W7 laptop on to the Internet in order to access some old printing software that was still linked to my (very old) printer. Purely to create a Royal Mail parcel delivery note.
Then simply switched the online button to OFF.

In the meantime, Avast Security Premium decided BY ITSELF that I now wanted to reinstate my products for virus protection, and instructed DigRiv to debit my Credit Card the full price on it’s renewal date.

But I had been assured in Avast's email that
“”Your subscription will continue through the end of your already paid subscription term, after which it will end and no further renewals will take place.””

So, how dare Digital River Ireland bill the credit card that was no longer going to authorise Avast licence renewals !!

I have had an unauthorised payment taken from my PayPal account of £1448.98. Until yesterday I had never heard of Digital River or entered into any transactions with them. Neither have I entered into any transactions for this amount of money with anybody. PayPal won't accept that it is a unauthorised transaction. How can a company just take this amount of money from someone's PayPal account?

It's a scam. They take unauthorised payments without notice, my case through Paypal, and I don't even know what it's for, they should be investigated. I have hopefully stopped any further fraudulent charges via my Paypal account.

En 2020 Acheté Lenovo soi-disant neuf mais il s'est avéré que le disque dur était vieux. J'ai été obligé de le changer et d'en racheter un neuf. Pure arnaque....

Bij betaling werd mijn order direct geannuleerd. Geld wel afgeschreven. Hoorde vervolgens niets meer van Digital River. Lijkt op een verdienmodel want het kost me veel tijd en moeite maar heb mijn geld nog niet terug. Een deel van de klanten zal al deze moeite niet nemen…

In spite of avast authorising repayment over 3weeks ago still no sign of refund

Order ram for my laptop .says 48 hour royal mail. 6 days later still no sign of delivery. Put a case Into PayPal for refund. Use amazon you know it will come or easy refund .

I ordered 2tb SSD storage. 3 days later, with no notification of dispatch, I phoned them. Although they’re located in Ireland, I got someone from a call centre in India. They said that there was a delay because they were out of stock but they were now processing my order. He said there was a problem with logistics when I said that they shouldn’t have taken my order if they were out of stock!!!
Don’t order from these people, they are incompetent. They didn’t even bother to let me know they were out of stock!!!

Eigenlijk verdienen ze helemaal geen ster. Heb software gekocht en kreeg een onbruikbaar nummer. Kan niks met software, maar ze willen wel hun geld. Nooit kopen bij hen.
Goed dat iemand aangifte heeft gedaan bij de politie.

I used their MiniTool Partition Wizard to add space to C-Drive from D-Drive.
It corrupted the Boot system of the Laptop & the Laptop will not boot up. I had to spend $350 to get the Laptop to work again.

Ich hab im April 2022 Bitdefender empfohlen bekommen und leider über Digital River gekauft. Bestellt für 1 Jahr, dann soll das plötzlich ein Abo sein. Ich find keine Möglichkeit das zu kündigen, aber egal, die VISA Karte läuft dazwischen ab... Nach etlichen Mails bekomme ich die Info, alles storniert, KEINE Abbuchung. Letzten Freitag dann eine Rechnung, nach erfolgreicher Bezahlung soll ich den Dreck neuerlich für 1 Jahr abonniert haben.
Hab denen jetzt eine Frist gesetzt, ansonsten Rechtsanwalt.
DAS IST NUR BETRUG - FINGER WEG VON DIESER FIRMA.

Sin haber contratado nada me han cobrado 29,99€ de manera indebida. Me siento estafado,si no recibo un reembolso denunciaré.

Freischaltung für Lizenzzahlungen dauern mittlerweile fast ein Woche.

This company is cheating you with hidden tricks. You think ok I buy this one time to get a solution on a problem. But there is a hidden issue. You think I pay once but next year they take again money from you without any signal or mail... nothing. And try to find how to stop this, it's so hard to get a way of canceling this cheatings. Digital River shame on you!

Purchased a copy of VMWare Fusion via Paypal and cannot retrieve the license key as Digital River does not recognise the Paypal transaction. Cannot find a way to resolve this on the Website and cannot find a contact phone number as their website is ridiculously difficult to navigate for end user customers.
