This was one of the worst experiences

This was one of the worst experiences. I had an appointment with Eucharia Maduafokwa, PMHNP which she was 11 minutes late to. I had to fill out an extremely long and extensive form/questionnaire prior to the exam. She hopped on the call looking extremely disorganized and frantic. She did not know my name, was looking at other things during our appointment and never even reviewed my forms I filled out to prepare her. She couldn't get a sentence out because she was so unfocused and unprofessional. As soon as we hung up the call I reached out to support right away. I had scheduled a Therapy appointment for the same day as well, so I reached out to support about how bad my experience was, and how I do not want to do the Therapy appointment after how bad the initial appointment was. Rebecca A. from support reached out and said we would be filing a grievance. She said she'd reach out by Monday the 23rd, and I never heard back until the next Thursday. Rebecca says my account was cancelled, but I STILL received a bill 2 days ago for $193. I reached out to support and they said that was the bill for the services received. Based on my experience there is no amount of money anyone should pay for the initial appointment I attended, plus I did not even attend the second appointment. Please do not go with this company for any mental health services whatsoever. You will only be wasting your time and money. Wish I had better things to say.

Money grubbers with disinterested employees

Buckle up because this was the worst therapy experience I've had. I started out after putting Brightside through my insurance, with my portal showing a $0 copay for appointments, so I decided to continue. I was specifically seeking help with some pretty intense anxiety and ADHD symptoms that had flared up recently. The first psychiatrist I was paired with treated me like a number, barely listening (I had described my job in detail and the next question she asked was "what do you do for work?"). She dismissed me as drug seeking when I was specifically not seeking stimulants but rather alternatives. I switched from her, and was then NCNS for my appointment with my second psychiatrist. She only reached out when I asked if she was still coming to our session, not preemptively, and then repeatedly gaslit me on additional appointment times. I finally, on the third try, met with a psychiatrist who seemed like she was willing to help and work with me, but then got hit with an egregious fee despite being told appointments would be covered with my insurance. I will say that the one therapist I met with was kind, they were interested and willing to help, but once again, this was not an affordable option. This company is awful and I would highly recommend seeking help elsewhere.

Expensive

It is expensive. I wish it was more affordable as cost is a barrier for so many. My appointment was almost $200 for an initial appointment that lasted maybe 20 minutes. My provider did not want to prescribe me a medication that worked for me in the past so I had to try a new one and wait 4-6 weeks for results.

You did not check my Medicare before my…

You did not check my Medicare before my appointments with my provider and therapist. I became connected to the therapist and o needed her this week not to have my appointment cancelled.

A new therapist has been assigned but I don’t think it will be a fit. I am very disappointed.

Horrible provider

Provider did not listen to patient, discontinued long term medication without prescribing new medication causing severe withdrawal symptoms and side effects
