My boiler broke down on Christmas Eve, and there was no hope to get a gas engineer to fix it before Christmas. I phoned a number of plumbers and made enquiries online for a new boiler. I also went on the gas safety Register website and looked for plumbers within half a mile of my house and I found 5 of them. Two of the plumbers, within half a mile of my house offered to come and see the boiler but never turned up. D&G phoned me on the next working day and arranged for supply and fit service on the Saturday, 3 days after my initial phone call. The engineer (Shahab) was very professional, efficient and quick. He arrived on time, worked hard, without a break and did a splendid job. I was let down by a few plumbers in the last few days, but D&G were able to offer a good service. I am not sure how the price is conparing with other suppliers, but I was glad I finally had heating and 10 years guarantee for peace of mind.

Our boiler broke 1 week before xmas , and with 2 babies in the house it was imperative we had a new boiler fitted immediately. We contacted Domestic and general heating, told them about a concerns and problems and within 48 a new Worcester Bosch boiler was fitted. The guys who fitted it had been to Blackpool in the morning and travelled to our house in West Midlands straight away, they worked until 8 pm and knew exactly what they were doing, our boiler was fitted within 4 hours and the guys cleaned up all the mess and took away all rubbish. Our heating system was flushed and treated and then double checked fir safety.
Overall a brilliant job in super quick time and they come very highly recommended. 5* service from minute 1.

They changed our boiler in 6 hours to a combi and also took out the old cylinder and tanks from the loft with the minimum of fuss. They left everywhere clean and tidy, took the old plumbing away with them and were very thorough in explaining the heating system and controls. DGHltd were also easy to deal with when booking in the work and were very competitive in their pricing. I would have no hesitation in recommending them!!

A Jay was very helpful , talking me through the entire procedure . Men arrived early , introduced themselves and showed me their Worcester Bosch Certificate...The. Two men were polite and worked non stop all day.
They left everywhere very tidy and put back any items that they had moved.

A Jays Team where very Professional and courteous from giving me the quote to installing the boiler in one day to replace an old Powermax 185. A Jay gave me the best price I could find for installing a top rated Worcester 34cdi Combi boiler. Very happy with the workmanship. Given Gas Certificate and manuals after engineer showed me how to use boiler, clean Mag filter and Set Room thermostat. Received 10Yr warranty couple days later. One very satisfied customer, would definitely recommend.

Within 2 days from ordering,my new boiler was installed,the installers were fast and efficient and left everything clean and tidy,had a bit of a nightmare getting my head around the new heating controls but after phoning the company and talking to A Jay he talked me through them and I think I've got them sorted now,he told me to not hesitate to call him back if I run into problems,so excellent customer service,I would and will definitely recommend this company.

Had a new boiler installed by D & G and we are very happy with the outcome.The installation date was put back by a couple of days after the engineers van broke down. However, when they did arrive the engineers were very efficient and accommodating and clearly knew what they were doing. The installation was carried out quickly and efficiently, the engineers consulted with us where necessary and ensured everything worked before they left. A very good job and very reasonably priced.

Domestic gas boiler replacement: -
We had a quote from a local fitter, which we thought was to high. we then found Domestic and General Heating Ltd on the web and found their price to substantially cheaper.
All aspects of the service were excellent from first contact to installation.
The fitters completed all work on time and to a high standard and were very courteous.
On completion they went through all the function of the boiler.
I would have no reservations recommending this company.

Super helpful. After being let down by previous company Domestic and General were excellent. Very competitive price for a new boiler wuth no extra charge for weekend installation . Fast and efficient fitters who were faced with unexpected issue of having water cut off at the mains due to burst pipe.They even returned late at night to commission boiler once water back on to ensure I wasn't without hot water and heating over night. Highly recommended.

Response was prompt and so was installation and there have been no subsequent problems. Happy to recommend.
