DFS Furniture - Hove Arvostelua 

I went into DFS in Hove expecting to buy a particular sofa but sitting down with the salesman Chris, we went through the dimensions of the room it was going in and realised it wouldn't work there. We then spent a really enjoyable time looking at all of the possibilities and finding exactly the right one for my space, taste and budget. Chris then took me through the whole process checking everything over and over, with no sense of rush and even a cup of tea! I have had many DFS sofas and highly recommend them for quality too.

Very professional service helpful and informative

The shop in Hove is fantastic. Such a large variety of sofas and chairs and the staff are all really helpful and lovely. I've purchased sofas in the past from DFS and always been very happy with my purchases. Great quality and comfort.

We waited ages to be seen by member of staff in store so ended up ordering sofa online

I have totally forgotten the name of the lovely girl who served me but she was very knowledgeable and really helped me work out what I needed and how to go about it.

I wrote a very nice review on here a few months ago when we placed an order for our sofa as this was requested by two of the store colleagues and no wonder why they ask for reviews because every review would very likely be bad because in reality their customer service is APPALLING! They’re all nice and welcoming when they are taking your money but when something goes wrong, they don’t want to know.

We ordered our sofa on 7th March, it was due to be delivered to us on 5th May. We had an email to say that our delivery had been delayed and wasn’t due to be delivered until 28th May.

Thursday 4th June, our sofa arrived broken. The back of the sofa had snapped from the base of it. Until this day, we are still waiting to hear about what they are going to do about it.

We’ve been trying to speak to a manager since Friday 5th June and they keep putting it off.

We’ve been told by a store colleague that the only compensation we can be offered is to fix the broken sofa and we can’t be offered anything else as that is policy. She also said the sofa is still new even though it’s broken so they can’t replace the broken item and only fix it. Due to this reason and us not wanting a new REPAIRED sofa, we told them that we wanted to cancel the whole thing and was told that this was not possible.

Speaking to customer service gets you no where!

I think it’s absolutely disgusting that they expect you to pay £2,500 for a repaired sofa and think that because they are going to add a sturdy replacement to it that we should accept it.

Staff were friendly and very helpful.

The sofa is great! In store was wonderful!
BUT, was had to pay £129 for delivery & installation (you can't avoid this cost). It was raining a lot, but the delivery men brought in a lot of dirt and mud (we have a terraced driveway with no dirt or mud). They didn't have shoe covers (other workmen we've had recently have, even in dry weather). They also scuffed the wall. A bit disappointing for the high cost of delivery.

No hard selling and Chris took the time to go through all my questions with me!

Very good shop experience with Paul who was very helpful in store when choosing a new sofa.
Also Daniel was very good & helpful when ordering the purchase over the telephone

we coming in today with our sister-in-law to help her find a sofa as she was recently let down by Oak furniture land when she bought a sofa and they told her they couldn’t deliver it up the stairs because it was too heavy so we received a refund and came into DFS today Where your lovely sales assistant Bev came and help us as my sister-in-law has some special needs not once did she try to Rush us along given her loads of time to choose what she wanted not once but twice did she come back to see that Louise was okay and said to her if you’re not ready to choose one today you can come back when your ready decide what you really want and explained to her that if she put the order through she couldn’t change it. She was so kind and helpful offered us coffee in the end my sister-in-law managed to choose what she wanted With the help from Bev we cant thank Bev enough for her time and kindness .

My wife and were looking for new sofas , we visited 4 shops and the lady that served us in DFS(kerrie) was by far the most helpful and most knowledgable , she was able to answer all our questions , if you need furniture I would recommend DFS in hove easy 10 out of 10 , can’t wait for my new sofas , great job 👍
