Having read some poor reviews for the Exeter branch we were a little apprehensive about using it, we found the store clean and up together with friendly staff who while being helpful and welcoming were not pushy, Matt in particular stood out, he has worked 20 years at the store and this experience shows.
We are sure the items purchased will be as described and that delivery is smooth.

Brilliantly friendly staff!
We didn't catch the chaps name but he was a delight and I hope you can ask in the store to identify him. My wife and I came in to the Exeter store near IKEA as we'd tried out the Patterdale a few times and love it but werent sure if it would fit through the door on our new house. He put us at ease immediately and explained how it would be delivered and then we sat and had a lovely chat through as we ordered the sofa with him. We felt so at home and couldn't have had a better purchasing experience. If we need another sofa, we'll be back. We purchased a green Patterdale 3 seater with Chaise end on Friday 17th July 2026 if that helps identify him as he deserves lots of praise.

Top customer service
Heather is the assistant manager in the Exeter branch. She was great from start to finish, very knowledgeable about all of the products, quick to find out what we were after and to lead us to the best options which were not the most expensive options. Made us feel welcome with a coffee and allowed me to feed my newborn whilst she set everything up. I will definitely return here just because of the customer service.

Really happy with our experience
Really happy with our experience - our lovely sales advisor Sian was so helpful. We figured out what we liked, went home and measured up and went back. Sian was very knowledgeable and helped us with the finer details. We haven't yet received the sofas yet, but from the show room, we can tell they will look good and are really comfy.

Brought a 3.6k sofa here
Brought a 3.6k sofa here, initial customer service was pretty good. The sofa isn’t one year old. So far stitching has come away in various places, main chair squeaks and creeks like a pirate ship and now one of the motor has gone. Completely unfit for purpose sofa. Been waiting for 3 months for a repair to be told the motor is made to order and it’ll take 4 months 😂. Now they are refusing a refund. Don’t spend Your money here, wish we went back to Oak furniture land instead of these jokers who have their sofas made in the Middle East.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us your review. We do appreciate any feedback and I am really sorry to hear you’re not happy with the furniture or the service received. I can completely understand your concerns if the goods received were not as anticipated, this is very disappointing to hear.
As your items do come with certain warranties when a fault is highlighted our service engineers will aim for a first touch resolution every time. Our service engineers are upholstered by trade and all repairs are done to a factory standard. If this cannot be achieved we will order service parts and come back to replace the faulty component.
Unfortunately, as no order reference number has been provided we are unable to locate your order. However, if you would like to discuss this matter further please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Service Team on 03339999777.
