It surprises us that Design Market is still in business. I don't care what the situation is at this moment, all I can telly you is that after more than a year we still did not receive the payment they owe us and we are backed against a wall as there is nothing more we can do. Whenever we hear from them, they tell us how they are trying to resolve their financial problems. But the fact that we receive no communication makes us feel like they are more busy keeping their head above water than actually resolve the core of the problem: dealers like us that never got paid. We no longer sell on Design Market but I do believe it is important for everyone to know that this is a company that can't be trusted. Usually, after a review like this, our employee gets an angry call or we receive another angry e-mail. Sometimes they ask for the invoices (again). So to the Design Market team: you know what you owe us by now. Just pay up. They will probably try to rapport this review like they tried before, but we are only sharing truths and will continue to do so until we have received what they owe us.

UPDATE: I was not scammed! Very happy to be proven wrong. After posting here and on several other channels, I was able to get in contact with Design Market. The communications were somewhat confusing — on different channels, I was told that I’d get a refund or that my order was still being processed. Eventually David called me and assured my order was coming but the supplier was on holiday hence the delay. He promised to provide a tracking number that week, which never came, but about two weeks later my order showed up! Design Market does NOT appear to be a scam but rather a legitimate (albeit disorganized) business. David, if you see this, I would recommend providing tracking info to people and accepting credit cards to help ease concerns when orders are delayed. Customer service was good at the end of the day.

I unfortunately stumbled on this Trustpilot page after I had placed an order and sent $944 via bank transfer. After my payment was confirmed, I never heard anything about tracking or shipping - it's been several weeks now and I've reached out multiple times via email to understand when my items will be shipped, with no response. I wish I had seen this website earlier because I'm now thinking I was scammed. I am really sad because the tables I intended to buy were beautiful - I thought the bank transfer requirement seemed fishy but I took a risk and it did not pay off.

David, if you see this, PLEASE give me a full refund!!! Otherwise I will be forced to report this website to the Better Business Bureau.

Malgré 2 conversations téléphoniques pour ma commande du 6 juin toujours non livrée, des promesses quand au suivi, je n’ai toujours aucune information concernant la livraison. J’ai tenté de rappeler mon interlocuteur aujourd’hui mais ça sonne dans le vide. J’ai demandé un remboursement mais on m’a promis que je serai livré rapidement. Aucune information sur l’état de ma commande hormis que le règlement a bien été reçu.

Je souhaite contribuer à remonter la confiance en cette entreprise qui a certes traversé des difficultés mais manifestement fait d'importants efforts avec des moyens humains limités pour en sortie et mérite de survivre. Son offre de produist est vraiment interessante Entre mai et juillet 2024 j'ai acheté trois meubles, un fauteuil de Pierre Paulin aux Pays Bas et une enfilade et un canapé en Tchéquie; La logistique est compliquée et cela prend du temps, je comprends que cela ne doit pas être simple; j'ai été livré des trois meubles qui sont en très bon état et conformes à leur description sur le site. Je souhaite longue vie à Design Market

Anche se e' stato dichiarato che non potevano contattarmi, ribadisco che la mia mail, e sempre stata attiva, e cosi i mie numeri di telefono, in piu', certo e' che se si richiamano i numeri di eventuali chiamate perse, e nessuno risponde e difficile comunicare, la compagnia era stata avvertita inizio giugno che ero in viaggio per lavoro, comunque la merce e' stata consegnata, e dopo varie chiamate mail e altro. Ordine eseguito confermato e pagato, inizio maggio, merce ricevuta inizio luglio.

Je connais cette entreprise depuis plusieurs années et je n'ai jamais eu aucun problème. Dernièrement la livraison de chaises a été retardée et j'ai contacté l'entreprise où quelqu'un m'a toujours renseignée et pris au téléphone pour m'informer de l'avancement de cette livraison. A l'heure où on a des robots qui vous répondent, je trouve agréable et rassurant d'avoir une VRAIE personne au téléphone. Mes chaises sont finalement bien arrivées et Design Market a tenu a faire un geste commercial pour compenser le retard !!!!

Do not purchase anything from this company. Design Market is a scam.

Update: I have received a refund after 4 months of emails. Design Market pretended to ship, saying they had called my number when they had not (even after confirming my correct phone number), said my address was invalid, sent me a fake shipping notice, avoided questions, avoided my requests for a refund, blocking me on social media - any excuse to not actually send the item or return my money. It was only after I started reviewing them everywhere and personally naming an individual.
David ended his last email to me telling me “to relax”- I am certainly relaxed now I have my money back and never have to deal with you again :)

sono stato un venditore su design market, non mi hanno pagato gli ultimi ordini, sono in amministrazione controllata, io ho smesso di vendere sul loro sito, voi che dovete acquistare, fate attenzione

Vendeur sur design market , j’ai perdu à ce jour 10000 euros jamais payés malgré des promesses non tenue et des chantages réitérés.
De plus , les avis négatifs ont miraculeusement disparu .
Je vous tiendrai informés si je suis payé , mais aujourd’hui , j’ai été volé par ce site et les mensonges de ses dirigeants .

J'ai payé une commande mais n'ai reçu aucune information sur le transport.
Quand j'appelle le service client, je tombe sur un répondeur indiquant que tout se traite par mail.
Les messages que je vois sur Trustpilot ne me rassurent pas.
Vais-je recevoir ma commande ?

We bought a table and on the website it says the price includes import tax and duties to the UK. I then received a Fedex bill for the duties. I have been trying to contact the company since March. 2 months later I received an email asking me to send a copy of the bill in May which I did and again no response. I have emailed so many times. Meanwhile the bill has been passed to debt collectors. It is fraud as others have said. So sad that companies like this exist.

You should never buy furniture here. I ordered a sideboard end of April and paid the sum of € 2.500 in advance as requested.
It turned out the website was outdated and the sideboard no longer available.
I have been waiting for my refund now for 2 months. You cannot reach designmarket by phone and several emails were ignored or not answered correctly.
This is very unprofessional and fraud. I will involve a lawyer now.

I bought a lamp in November 2023, and as of today, 21.06.2024, it still hasn't arrived. They didn't answer the phone or reply to emails for months. What was my surprise when, about a month ago, they answered the phone and soon afterwards I received an email saying that the company was in a receivership! I was left without the lamp and without the money. I had to hire a lawyer and filed a complaint with the police. It is a shame! How are they still open when they say they are bunkrupt?!?
