Currys - Poole Arvostelua 

We recently had to send our combi micro back as it had failed,
The care & repair service sent an E gift card for £220.00 but our tech was £399.00 we raised this as a concern ,
We then recieved a further & £180.00 e gift card ,
Went to the store & purchased a new combi oven without any fuss great staff great service well done Curry's .

I made a purchase today from the Poole branch, once I got home (an hours drive away) I opened the box to only find that half of the product was missing, it appears as though someone had already opened and then returned the item with bits missing. Some bright spark just stuck it back on the shelf!
I then had to drive back to store as their customer help line is next to useless, once I got there, they did swap the product for a NEW one, which we then noticed they charged £10 over the marked price on the original purchase, they said the £10 would be refunded to my card, it wasnt! They also kept the original receipt which had the other purchases that I bought on there, but they wont give me another receipt unless I drive back to the store! Overall the whole company seems to be a bit of a joke! 100% will never shop there again!

Very quick customer support, i had one of the electric toothbrush not working ,team replaced it in no time.

Purchase was made , quickly as the had a stock of what was required

We have in the last few weeks purchased a new laptop and printer and replacement washing machine (being delivered tomorrow).

A very helpful and patient young man called Manish talked us through the minefield of modern technology, us being two elderly techno phobics! On a later date we returned to your store to purchase what we originally intended to buy! A Bosch washing machine. Again we were really impressed by the sales assistant called Shanda who was friendly and efficient. Well done Currys on your selection of staff. Trish and Steve Williams 😊

Brought a hoover tumble dryer yesterday 27/09/26 got home no manual inside and no water tank as it is a condensing heat pump. Phone help centre and told to go back to curries and the person put the phone down. Disgusting behaviour. No I have to make a 6/8 mile round trip! To see if they have the missing items.

wrong item bought then returned and changed, no problem.

Bought my Honor phone from Currys, great service and the guy sorted out my old phone too. Very kind and helpful.

Disgraceful customer service at Currys Poole

I visited the Poole Currys store on 21 September 2026 to return a Dyson fan that I had purchased online.

While I was waiting at customer services, a member of staff named Jamie saw me, scuffed his feet along the floor with his hands in his pockets and shouted “Next”. Not exactly a welcoming start.

I politely explained that I wanted to return the fan because it wasn't powerful or large enough for my needs. Jamie immediately told me that because I had purchased it online, I had to “send it back online”.

I explained that only around four weeks earlier I had returned a Samsung soundbar, also purchased online, at exactly the same Currys store.

Jamie looked at me and said that was “impossible”.

I told him it absolutely had happened and offered to show him the receipt proving it. He didn't even want to look at it and continued insisting it hadn't happened.

So I'm standing there with proof in my hand while a Currys employee is effectively telling me I'm lying.

I even said that if he didn't believe me, Currys could check its CCTV and see me standing at the same desk receiving the previous refund. His response was:

“Well, I'm obviously not going to do that.”

At this point it was obvious he had no interest in helping me or even checking whether the information he was giving me was correct.

When I pointed this out, I was then accused of being rude.

I demanded to speak to a manager and Theo, the Operations Manager, came down. Initially I was AGAIN told that the return couldn't be done.

I explained everything again and showed the evidence of my previous online purchase being returned in store.

Then, after around 10 minutes, suddenly I was told:

“The system has had an update.”

And guess what?

They processed the return.

So after being categorically told it was “impossible”, having my previous experience dismissed as though I had made it up, and being treated as though I was the problem for challenging incorrect information, Currys ultimately did exactly what I had been asking them to do from the beginning.

Mistakes happen. Someone giving me incorrect information initially wouldn't, by itself, have caused me to write this review.

What I find completely unacceptable is the attitude.

Jamie could simply have checked. He could have looked at the receipt I was offering him. He could have asked a colleague or manager. Instead, he repeatedly contradicted me, dismissed what I was saying and spoke to me in an unnecessarily confrontational manner.

There wasn't even a meaningful apology when it turned out that the return could be processed after all.

Absolutely appalling customer service from Currys Poole.

I have now submitted a formal complaint to Currys and requested that the relevant CCTV from 21 September 2026 is preserved and reviewed.

Currys needs to investigate how customers are being spoken to at this store because nobody should be treated like they're lying simply for questioning incorrect information given by a member of staff.

Previous experience with Curry’s over the years . Always helpful, from the showroom, customer services, delivery and the actual products. Would recommend .

Easy collection and heavy item taken straight to my car!

Online shopping was fine.
In store was not so good. We went in there thinking we’d get advice on a laptop but our quick google search was more helpful. He was just aimlessly wandering round and offered no recommendations.

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. A partial refund with no problems. Order arrived as promised.

Ordered on line for collection service was prompt and polite

Kept advised of times and arrived when they said. 2 polite and helpful delivery men.
Ordered in Poole branch and very helpful young man who explained everything to us.

The perfect sales assistant knowledgeable, polite and happy a great shopping experience.
