Average quality and customer service

This Italian brand garments are of very average quality. Bought two trousers priced at €300 each from their local store in June and August 2024. A basic stain would not be removed from one of the trousers even after taking them to professional cleaners and the threads from the back pocket of the other trousers keep coming off even after the local store fixed it. Both of these are serious quality control issues and absolutely not normal after wearing the trousers 5-10 times.

The worst part is that after a number of emails with their customer service (specifically challenged on the quality issues which have arisen) and going round in circles between the local store and Corneliani, Corneliani did absolutely nothing about it. It was a complete waste of time.

So do yourselves a favor and do not waste a single euro on this very average Italian brand. There are many other genuine Italian brands such as Luca Faloni or Velasca who offer similar price point at unparalleled quality and their customer services are very responsive.

Corneliani does not seem to want to protect the image of the brand. Not buying again from this very average brand.

They have nice stuff, but the refund policy is awful. They charge 20 euro if you send an item back from Europe.
I understand that a company can ask for a little amount for the inconvience, but 20 euro is out of proportion.
Think about this, before you order at Corneliani.

Be aware, if you have to return an item from the UK they will retain 40 Euros from the original amount paid so you will receive minus 40 euros from the t/l, and the refund took well over one month to come through.

Other then their refund policy their clothing is really nice.

Customer relation is good delivery is less 4 days from Italy to Belgium!!!!

I received a tie that looks quite different from the images on the website though the product ID was correct. I returned it to Italy and got a refund.

The worst experience ever in the Mantova store. The store that should be their pride as the brand is from Mantova!! Rude, unprepared, disinterested. Not surprised the brad is failing and the fund wants to get rid of it asap! No choice to try on, total unwillingness to help the customer, I was told "these are our suits, there is nothing else", I was told that "made to measure is not possible, it's industrial made to measure". The shirt they gave me was creased and used, NO WISH TO MAKE A SALE.

They have an English language website. Yet their Customer Service number is in Italy, and costs a fortune to call them.

When you call them, they only speak Italian. I tried to speak Italian with them, and they immediately hung up. Repeated calling back went unanswered.

There is no email contact.

I wrote on their website contact form. Nobody replied.

I wrote a second time (a simple polite query), and I received an email confirming my account was deleted.

When I wrote on the contact form to ask why his had happened, I got a "message not sent. Your email address is banned" message.

Corneliani has had mutliple owners and is known to be in financial difficulty

Considering the other comments here that customers are resorting to legal action to get the refunds due to them, *do not buy anything online with this business* would be my advice.

Truly the worst service I've seen.

Without a doubt the worse customer service I have ever received. They ignore emails, when trying to call, which costs a fortune as it’s a number in Italy, the agents can also only email the customer care team, which are of course ignored. In my case there is no way to communicate with them, if I do not receive the refund that I’m owed imminently I will have to engage the EU ECC. Abhorrent service from a luxury brand, so disappointing.
