I recieved the letter with a copy of my 'assessment' on 3/12/25
I was referred by my GP directly to the Musculoskeletal/Pain Service for help with pain management as he cant do anything further for me.
When i got my phone call the person i was speaking to seemed more interested in how i got straight through to that department without going through their own system than anything else.
When i explained about my Fibromyalgia/chronic pain and other symptoms i was only offered 'education and advice about self management with regards to living in pain' or other 'talking' therapies like CBT which i already know and use'
No offer of any physiotherapy or medical approaches at all!. Lastly the gentleman gave me the impression that overall he thought i was a drug-seeker by his overall tone and fobbed me off, if not why are you called a Pain Clinic? Only offering talking therapies when people actually need help with horrific pain levels is disgusting.
I would LOVE to be able to make my pain less by thinking it away or less, but that doesn't work in real chronic pain.
Overall I think your 'service' was dreadful and could easily make someone struggling to cope with other mental issues isolate themselves or much worse actions.

Just awful. I was left in tears. Devastated. I am a former dancer and feel my future has been destroyed. I have been requesting a surgeon referral for several years, to no avail. After a scan that showed serious deterioration as I was forced to wait a year for this, nothing was treated as urgent. There was no empathy. I was sat there crying and The physio responded as if I was being disruptive. I had no physio exam - she did not even look at my knee. I had waited almost a year for an MRI. The report required a surgeon referral from a doctor. Supposedly no doctor in the entire organisation?. Why is there no doctor? First appointment cancelled by MSK without reason. No scan images. Dismissive comments about my knee injuries and told I could take lifelong " analgesia". I have been through this entire loop twice - the physio would not even look up the previous physio advisor visit and promised referral. (2022). I now have bone oedema. No advice at all. I have mobility issues and had gone all the way there- the appointment might as well have been on zoom. waste of years of my life. Complete nightmare. I needed referral to a surgeon. Still no surgeon appointment. Yet if you have money you can be seen within 24 hours. The MRI service they used neither obtained previous images to document the deterioration. I had provided all scan reports to them myself so they knew the dates. They had not sourced anything for me. They even tried to tell me the previous (RNOH) hospital did not have my scan images. I called the hospital medical records dept myself and this was untrue.. and they had no record of a request from this service. I was asked to obtain the records myself, I spent nearly a month trying to access copies of Cora Health's own requested scan images, then the physio refused to look at them. As I was stood there in tears, she gave me further emails and phone numbers I was supposed to chase, to get my scan results (which she had ordered), uploaded to their own system- instead of offering any care. This was so inappropriate, particularly as my distressed state was obvious. We have had to cancel all our plans. Other people are going on Easter breaks, I have been left questioning if my life is worth continuing. I feel I am forced to borrow funds to see a surgeon privately to try to get the referral I need. My partner described this experience as ' a racket". No one wants to do any work. I felt disregarded and discarded and worried I could lose my leg or part of my leg. Where is our medical care? Why are doctors referring to a centre that cannot even read scan images and don't even have a doctor available? Apologies if this sounds harsh, but this was the most humiliating degrading experience. The physio didn't treat me at all, yet criticised me for taking up 30 minutes of her time. Then tried to blame delays on "that was because you needed an upright MRI". That was quite shocking, since the former ( very kind ) scanning manager had recommended and made this referral after I suffered PTSD symptoms because of failures taking their two previous MRI scans. ( one booked in a lorry- no advance warning which could not go ahead; the other when they did not stop the machine when the buzzer was pressed, so was aborted, for which I had received and accepted a formal apology.) I am a rape survivor and after this experience and doom laden prognosis this afternoon, (" Bone oedema is just the ongoing deterioration of your leg)" ( without either looking at it or checking any scan images).and no appointment nor even a viable referral to a surgeon, which I asked them for over one year ago and now has been absolutely confirmed I need- plus a refusal to even offer any physio advice whatsoever, nor the remotest jot of reassurance. I really don't feel I have much left to live for. This was just another abusive experience. Why don't health care professionals try to put themselves in their client's position and show compassion and care? Please, assist with my referral urgently to a specialist orthopaedic surgeon. This needs to be a robust and comprehensive letter, enclosing the scan report, images and the previous scan comparisons, or it will be rejected. Please stop wasting crucial time for patients with serious injuries and refer right away to proper specialist consultants. Lost time can mean an injury is then beyond repair. Please stop treating people who are struggling with serious health issues as an incovenience. This is the lowest standard possible if people with a worsening condition that could result in loss of limb use and permanent disability, are not even treated as urgent or serious. No regard for the fact that this was my career.

Appointment overdue, asked to complete online questionnaire but website continually crashes. Why are they subcontracted to the NHS?

Still awaiting an appointment since Friday 13th March 2026 went in to the building asking about changing my appointment but was told I had to phone in 5 fives during the conversation face to face but I explained I am hearing impaired even wearing my hearing impaired lanyard and hearing aids. Even Hull Royal is aware I wear them and the lanyard The most shocking unprofessional display ever as well as my equality rights being stomped on. Update, I have now got a new appointment through on 14th March a month later , but no mention of which reasonable adjustments will be in place for this appointment or being asked which reasonable adjustments are being made. UPDATE My appointment booked for 14th April 2026 has now been cancelled without me being informed at all & moved to April 28th I got the letter this morning for this revised appointment. The Letter states if I need to contact them I should phone no email address even though I have explained about my hearing loss

The initial assessment was delivered in a bright, welcoming manner with some exercises given. I was then offered a free one hour session for six weeks at a Local Authority gym. The physiotherapists were all pleasant. They had ready smiles and lots of encouragement. They were happy to help me to get the most out of the equipment by making sure it was set up correctly for my height. I enjoyed my time there
I had never been to a gym before but hope to continue attending

Shocking , disappointing and dismissive.
I still cannot understand how accompany can function in this way with people's health.

My referral was to do with months of pain in both arms, numbness, stiffness,disruption of sleep, work. It took over a month to see a specialist, another 1.5 to get an MRI and after waiting nearly 2 months for the results. I had chased Cora health complaints dept 3x because they never provided status update, you don't know what's going on.
My review on Trustpilot is akin to many others - after chasing Cora health complaints dept the response was dismissive & one liners, telling me to chase the hospitals not getting involved?!! The referral came from them, the NHS I'm assuming is paying them. 5 months later I'm still no better and in pain and no clearer as to how to manage this health issue.

31 March - I did contact Cora health as they requested from their response, however I am purely repeating myself as the complaints department replied originally.

Cora Health seem to have been put in this earth to deny patients the treatment they have been recommended. Goodness knows how they were awarded the contract. If I could, I would have awarded them no stars.
Long waits followed by numerous cancellations seem their modus operandi. Added to this, I have been sent on several occasions for appointments only to be told that the service I was recommended at that clinic was not possible. Several months delay before the next aborted consultation. Bar paying for private treatment, it is unfortunately impossible to get the assistance you need. Avoid unless you enjoy living in pain.

After a long wait I received a phone consultation that immediately felt like ticking the boxes exercise rather than an investigative process
I had to literally tell the person that if I wasn’t sent for a scan I would pay privately and should something be revealed I would take further action towards those who had been dismissive of my pain and issues
I was then told I would be sent for a scan but not to hold out much hope for a resolution
Poor customer service and sympathy
Just another government initiative to look like something is being done

I have today had a consultation with Corahealth and an orphopedic consultant at their clinic in Brentford, London Riverside clinic.

My experience today has been all I could have asked for. Seen promptly almost on arrival with a thorough interactive investigation into concerns regarding my knee. X-rays taken and a complete history of my overall heath, muscular skeletal challenges, exercise routines, accidents and operations.

The clinic was comfortable, relaxing and service was prompt and person centred. I have been referred for certain exercises more locally to me, advised about expectations and what exercises to maintain, increase and develop.

At this stage of everything I am very happy with my treatment plan and today's consultation.

It is regretful that it was here that I had to shout out about how disappointed I was with Corahealth as today's experience has been so completely different from my initial experiences.

But I was listened to today, thoroughly examined and my initial complaints dealt with properly and completely.

Referred without reason from hospital pain clinic. Given a quick appointment but I stress one that would not benefit me or give me the standard of care I would need. They are employed to reduce the NHS waiting list, the level of care is shocking, getting through on the phone horrendous. When you speak to the staff eventually they have no medical training.
A portacabin, injection and out the door when the injection i should have involves close monitoring. Its a dangerous precedent that the NHS has set and it is to reduce stats on waiting times only. Patient care is not being considered.

One star is too much. Don’t rely on them get another option and opinion if you can. I have been with this MSK team part of Cora health and they are incompetent and a waste of time. I have never been on physio for this long without knowing what is my long term outcome. The Indian physio therapists have been biased to me and rude. For my long term condition going back 15 years. They really have not been helpful and make up shit as they go along. The word Cora Health makes me feel depressed. No light at the end of the tunnel for me.

I had my appointment cancelled the day before and the earliest re-arranged appointment is in 7 weeks. I was told to ring to see if I could get in earlier on a cancellation but having just rung was told in a very blunt manner that I won't get one. 7 months in, still hobbling about on an injured knee with no real diagnosis and no way forward and they just don't seem to care. Absolutely shocking service.

They cancelled my appointment for no reason, then ask me to call them to rearange, waiting on hold to rearange after their cancellation....

I attended the cora health Stalybridge clinic on the 10th of March 2026.
I saw Rebecca, she was absolutely amazing, she unlike the majority of clinicians was actually interested in what was happening to me, she listened attentively, and didn't force me to do anything I was nit comfortable doing.
She was extremely polite and very helpful.
I have to admit that I was very concerned about my appointment because it's all too easy for clinicians to say your pain has increased because of your medication, which unfortunately has been the case in the past.

Having had 2 previous appointments with a different therapist, today I had my first appointment with Ruchi Dubey, at Harrow.

Delighted with an excellent treatment session, so different from my initial experience. This morning’s session was such a surprise, what I would call real hands on physio, rather than simply providing an exercise plan.

Ruchi’s treatment was what I would expect, with actual stretching of neck and arms (albeit at times physically challenging for me!) together with the teaching and supervision of new, far more demanding exercises which I could tell were focussed exactly on my neck & shoulder problems. She clearly explained and demonstrated these exercises and corrected my attempts as necessary before supervising my undertaking several repetitions of each. A pleasant and really professional approach, keeping me briefed on expectations and working with me to ensure any pain was kept within manageable levels.

Of great importance, Ruchi was interested in my past medical history, neck and shoulder reports and scans and asked that I bring copies to the next appointment. In total contrast to the previous therapist, who did not even look at the medical history that I had offered, Ruchi said that she would read them at the next appointment and ensure that they were scanned onto my medical records.

NB 4 * rather than 5* was awarded to reflect disappointment with the service received from the original clinician. It does not reflect at all negatively on today's treatment session.

Kelvin & Debbie at Cora Health In Hainault Medical Centre were brilliant.It was a cancellation appointment and was seen on time .They were both very caring and friendly and Kelvin who did the ultrasound was very thorough and took his time and he told me how much he loved his job

Absolutely appalling service. Was sent for a hip xray, even though I said my hip was ok, it was my back, i have spinal stenosis. Kept phoning up for the results, then after waiting 3 months they tried to send me across town for the results. I refused, I had a telephone call only to be told there is nothing wrong with my hip. The lead physio sent me 6 months hip exercises via the net when he didn't know if there was anything wrong with it. Not good. There were other things too.

Absolutely useless, they are an embarrassment to the NHS. they have stopped me getting treatment to my hand, because it was not bad enough. Now i had a referral from my gp after his assessment on a very bad trauma to my shoulder, 4 months ago, it took 6 weeks to have a telephone appointment, with a non medically qualified person, who then has offered a consultation face to face with another Cora unqualified person for another assessment in 2 weeks before i can possibly see a medical practitioner, if they allow it. I am in constant pain, and Cora clearly are an obstacle to treatment. its disgusting.

Cora Health is a sham, fraudulent company who couldn't care less about providing health care to patients. I'd love to know how much they have charged the NHS for not providing any health care for me over the last 5 months. The boss's and NHS head who signed the contract with Cora should be in jail. I would say shame on you but these are words they don't care for or understand. Absolutely appalling company who destroyed our NHS physio service.
