ColourFence Garden Fencing Arvostelua 

Colourfence recently installed both blue & cream and green & cream panels at my property – and what a winner they are!
The colours lift the whole garden and have already been admired (and envied) by neighbours.
The fitting team – Will, Elvis, Alfie and Teddy – worked hard and handled the project with good humour.
John kept things steady, and Saima ensured the admin was tied off neatly in the end.
Yes, there were a few bumps in the road (a Thames Water adventure I won’t soon forget!), but the team kept at it.
The materials are solid, the finish is clean, and I’m quietly relieved not to be painting wood ever again.
Customer service was responsive, which is rarer than it should be these days.
Overall – a strong product, a capable team, and fences that genuinely stand out from the crowd.

This is our third installation of Colour Fence. Two fences installed last year & the third in Sep 25. We have had problems with all three orders with late deliveries, wrong colour fencing etc, etc but this review will just relate to our latest order. I will state that we had to keep using this company as they are the only company that supply this product otherwise I would have gone elsewhere after the problems with the first order.

The product & the fitters are very good. The company/customer service is very poor and much room for improvement. Colour Fence are also using the name 'Easy Garden Living'.

We received a phone call asking if they can deliver our fence on Fri 29th Aug 25 & fit it on Tues 2nd Sep. All confirmed & we changed our plans to accommodate these two dates. We were very happy.
On Thurs 28th Aug, I received a phone call stating our fence would be delivered on Mon 1st Sep now. I totally disagreed as we had changed all our plans. Due to the previous problems we had had last year, I stated to the lady from Colour Fence that they either deliver the fence as agreed on 29th Aug or cancel the order as we had had enough.
Some time later, I received a phone call just stating it would be delivered at approximately 4pm on 29th Aug. It turned up at 8pm.

The fitting went perfectly as normal. A lovely team of three men.

When I received the warranty for this installation, it stated that the installation warranty was for only one year. The other two installations last year were for two years.
I contacted my surveyor/consultant that took the order (he was the same person for all three orders). He stated that he would look into it as he thought it was a mistake. He came back to me stating that the company had changed its policy from the beginning of the year unbeknown to him. I found it hard to understand how he could have been selling the product for the past nine months, presumably telling his customers that the product is covered for two years on the installation & not one person noticed that the certificate states one year.
To cut a long story short. Between the 2nd and 11th Sep, I have now received four copies of the warranty, from different people. Two stating a two year warranty & two stating a one year warranty.
A senior from the company phoned me on the 11th & stated it's a one year warranty but they would look into an issue if something happened in the second year. I was not happy with this as I wanted the two year warranty in writing. In two years time, this conversation could be totally denied. This manager was not going to change his stance.
It concerns me that Colour Fence are now not confident that their installations are good for two years otherwise, why would they change it to only a year.

Luckily, we have now had all our fences renewed so will not have to use Colour Fence again but I will not be recommending them to anyone.

What hasn't gone wrong. Had a surveyor visit for railings to be fitted in front garden in June. Had a quote which we accepted and paid them a deposit of £1,674 and 4 pence with the understanding the work would be completed within 4 to 6 weeks. Railings delivered almost on time with a date for fitting. This is when it all started to go wrong. Insulation team said they could not do the job as what the surveyor planned wasn't possible. I am getting no help from the company and am now at my wits end as where I go from here. I get very little response from the numerous telephone calls I have made, very rarely get to speak to a responsible person always someone who is just manning the phones, their response is there is nobody in the office I can speak to, they will get someone to give me a call back. When I do get a return call its the same old story, they will get someone to call back. I am still waiting. All I want now is someone to tell me if the job can be completed, if not I would like my deposit back and the railings to be returned. Ideally I would like the job to be completed to my satisfaction. I have used colour fence in the past and have never experienced the problems I am now.

I ordered a double gate in early April but did not hear anything for two months until I rang to find out what was happening to my order but the salesman had forgotten to put our in the system. I received a call saying that they progress our order as a priority, eventually it was installed on the 31st July.

The installation was very quick and the gates worked well except that because I wanted them to open outwards (normally they install opening inwards) the lock mechanism was put on the wrong way round with the latch mechanism on the outside. I rang and complained and was told that they would contact the fitter and local sales manager to get it resolved. A month went by no further contact! I rang again today and was told that the head office had forgotten to track the resolution activity and that they would contact the fitter again. How long have I got to wait?

From start to finish a great professional job , old fence picked up the day after completion . the installers Gareth & Jarrad done a fantastic job and so easy to have around.

Excellent product. The fitters were quick, efficient and thorough in removing all the rubbish and old fencing.

Really good from estimate to finish. Salesman was honest and on time, fitters were here at 815 am, reliable, tidy and did a really good job. I was apprehensive as big investment and company not known locally but I can highly recommend. First class service

Great service, great products. My fence looks amazing makes such a difference to the garden. All staff are amazing from Mark who measured up and talked us though the process to Gareth and Jarrad who worked hard over two days to complete the fence. 100% satisfied

Very disappointed was ready to sign and go ahead and then seen some very worrying reviews on here. We really wish we had checked them out first and would never have contacted the company. Richard the surveyor was so nice and really took his time when visiting my property, came across well and no pressure, he loves the product as much as we do. However the bad reviews are just as important as the good, but when the good reviews are more down to the fitters than anything else and you get only a 12 month fitters Warranty on a product with a 25 year guarantee and they also require a 50% deposit with no clear fitting date then that doesn't feel right to us, we gave them the opportunity to do pay on completion but no they just said ok and that speaks volumes to us. I feel my review is important as it gives people information about our experience and points out issues that are relevant if others are considering the company. I would have paid cash on completion but that is not offered so I will not be reconsidering your quote. I do not use companies that have negative reviews around customer service and planning also since reading about a gate blowing of with only a 12 month warranty on fitting and you give a 25 year warranty on the product it makes me worry as fitting is essential to that warranty? A hot day, those guys worked amazingly, the finish result, was fantastic, the transformation made such a difference. I’m am very happy with the work carried out. The choice & colour were just meant to be. Thank you to the guys for their work & service given 100%

Getting a ColourFence really is an experience of two halves.

The fitters are fantastic. Polite, communicative, receptive to questions, exceptionally hard workers. The final product is fantastic, we are really pleased. We had Al and Leon from Midland Fencing and we could not fault their professionalism, nor the end result to achieved.

However, the site surveyor essentially made many false promises. Looking back, we feel that if we’d asked him if the fence could fly he would have said yes to get a sale. And, when issues occur, it’s like he disappears off the face of the planet. Maybe magic is involved after all.

Head office communication is woefully poor, bordering on rude. Head office staff should definitely take a lesson from the installers in customer service. The time scales are sketchy, the delivery schedules for goods poor, and I’m not sure whether we’d have got the waste taken away (as paid for) without constant badgering.

It’s such a shame, because the guys doing the installations are brilliant. The finished product is brilliant. But, would I want to deal with them again: absolutely not. Life is too precious to spend your time arguing with rude people about fences.

The experience leading up to getting the fence installed was not great - slow or no responses to emails or calls, the wrong materials being sent so when the first installers arrived they couldn't complete the job which meant going to the back of the queue and waiting another 3 weeks for installation and the materials sat on my driveway for 6 weeks in total - however Jon Wells was helpful in resolving the problems and Alpar was a fantastic installer - very conscientious, hard working, polite, an attention to detail and pride in his work. The product itself seems great and hopefully will last for many years to come.

Salesman quoted £4300 for new fence and gate and supplied written quote guaranteed for 30 days. After a few days I contacted salesman to accept quote and pay deposit,but was informed this would now be £4800 ?? . I requested a manger’s contact details to complain. The manager agreed this was poor service and agreed to honour original price quote. I then paid £2100 / 50% deposit.After a week or so and awaiting fitting date I was contacted by salesman who informed me cost would now be nearer £5000 and did I want to continue. I therefore declined and requested a refund. This was terrible and deceptive practice and feels like a company trying to take advantage of an elderly person. - BEWARE

The surveyor was not the sharpest, possably due to lack of training,this made the fitters job harder. Jason the chief fitter was brilliant, he did a fantastic job and we are delighted with the result

Really happy with the service provided by Mark and his team. Highly recommend them if you're looking for a no-maintenance, secure & professional fencing contractor.

Good service from start to finish.

Totally fantastic experience with ColourFence. From entering my details on Google for a call back, to the job complete. Salesman Denis was a really nice guy and when he came to see us he was here for over an hour explaining all the details of the product, showing us samples and measuring thoroughly. He explained that it can take 6 to 8 weeks for installation and we placed our order. I got confirmation of the order 2 weeks later and a provisional installation date as approx end of June and they would contact us the week before but no one contacted to confirm or advise of any delays so I rang Dennis who said he would Email his boss and send it to head office and gave me their number so that I could also contact myself. I was only concerned as I am having a pergola fitted 7th July and was hoping the fence would be fitted first. The staff I spoke to on the phone were very pleasant and helpful and said they would sort it out and get back to me and the next day she did and said they would come 3rd July. Dave and Phil arrived at 8.15am and were very polite and courteous and respectful of my property, they got to work straightaway and they had ordered a skip to take away our old fence and posts and that arrived at 10am. Dave and Phil and another guy who helped out until 12, they never stopped working, they told us exactly what would be happening and checking in with us if it was okay to do what they suggested. They finished at approximately 4.30pm only stopping once for lunch for about 30 minutes then Dave and Phil worked their socks off on an extremely hot day but never complained once. They tidied up after them too and I am absolutely thrilled with the results. It is well worth the wait and the cost, it looks fantastic and a brilliant service. The skip hasn't been collected yet but I have been advised that it will be no later than tomorrow, obviously not the company's fault about the skip company but as soon as it has been collected I will promptly pay the remaining balance. I would definitely recommend the company and their staff including Dennis the salesman and Dave and Phil who worked above and beyond and the lady I spoke to on the phone to re arrange the installation date, unfortunately I can't remember her name but she was extremely nice as well. The steel fence is very sturdy and really good quality and am so happy with my new fence, thank you all so much 😊

Great service, great products my fence looks amazing. Salesman matt is very nice talked us through everything from products to colour measurement & price. The lads came & did a brilliant job over 2 days they we're very pleasant friendly young men who respected our property & my dogs mischievous behaviour

Delays and more delays in delivery/installation.
Had to cancl the order after 3 weeks into promised delivery date.
