We're sorry to read your review, but it leaves out what actually happened, so let’s set the record straight for anyone reading this:
Incorrect Address: Your first parcel was returned to us because you entered a Bradford postcode combined with a street address in an entirely different town (which was also spelt incorrectly). We proactively reached out as soon as it was returned to us to get your correct details and invoiced you for the re-postage that same day.
Unannounced Second Order: You then placed a second, separate order that same day which qualified for free postage. You elected not to inform us of this, and had we known, we would have refunded your previous payment to re-send the returned order, as we could bundle the two order together. Our warehouse team consolidated them into a single shipment, as is a perfectly understandable thing to do since it's pointless sending two parcels to the same address.
Continued Support: A few days later, we proactively sent a follow-up message to you to check that everything was to your satisfaction. You replied at 7:00 PM on Friday evening stating you felt aggrieved about paying double postage on a combined box. At 10:30 AM on Saturday morning, we reviewed the case, agreed with you, and immediately issued a full refund for the extra postage.
After informing you that we agreed with your complaint and had issued a refund, you then still proceed to leave this 1-star review attacking our business.
Summary:
We used our time to fix your address error, checked in on you, and delivered same-day resolution and a refund on a Saturday morning.
We are a decent, honest company. When we make a mistake, we own it and fix it. In this case, we feel we provided flawless service at every step. We are confident that anyone reading this will recognise the difference between poor customer service and a customer who simply refuses to be pleased.

I have left 2 messages with co2…
I have left 2 messages with co2 supermarket to contact me, as well as sent them an email to ask for help after when removing an additional manifold and bubble counter from my year old co2 regulator the bolts sheared - I know I'm strong but I'm not that strong and this was done with an alan key not a powertool - and I needed a replacement solenoid and manifold. I've had no reply to them for a week despite 3 attempts my side to contact them. I randomly was online a second ago looking something up and realised that trustpilot was a thing and noticed that not a day ago they had responded to someone here asking why they hadn't contacted their customer service team. It may have been because they seem to be out of office.
I've not been able to source the part that I needed and have now had to buy an expensive new regulator from a different company.
If someone from co2 supermarket reads this please get in touch with the email address connected to order number HGP-PLGQ64H from May of last year.

After investigating, we discovered that your contact form submissions on 21 September were automatically caught by our automated spam filter due to a security trigger which seems to be a false-positive in this case and prevented your messages from reaching our support team. We fully understand how frustrating this must have been from your end but was not an intentional act on our part.
We are actively investigating this technical issue so we can fix it and ensure legitimate messages are never missed in the future. We have also contacted you so we can get this sorted for you.
We will learn from this and try other measures to ensure this won't happen again in future. Again, please accept our sincere apologies for any frustration or inconvenience caused.
I bought a CO2 regulator and…
I bought a CO2 regulator and inexplicably went through 3 canisters of CO2 in 5 days. The CO2 just kept running out no matter how carefully I followed the instructions. I lost 8 fish due to the wild PH swings as the CO2 ran out. Turns out my brand new regulator has a leak in the first stage, causing it to bleed out the contents. I will be returning it and asking for a refund.

We are very sorry to hear about the loss of your fish. As fellow aquarium hobbyists, we know how heartbreaking it is to lose livestock, and we understand your frustration.
However, we are surprised to receive this review, as you did not contact our support team at any point to report these issues or ask for advice.
Consuming three CO2 canisters in just five days is extremely abnormal behaviour. Dual-stage regulators are designed to handle high pressure, and a primary stage leak of that magnitude would be immediately audible or detectable upon setup. In almost all cases where gas is depleted this rapidly, the issue is an external leak - such as a loose bubble counter connection, not the regulator itself.
Had you reached out to us after the first canister emptied prematurely, our support team could have guided you through a quick leak-check (using soapy water or leak detection spray) to pinpoint and rectify the exact source of the leak, saving your gas and preventing any pH instability in your tank.
We always encourage customers to get in touch the moment something doesn't seem right so we can help troubleshoot safely. Indeed, instead of contacting us to report the problem, you instead registered and submitted a 1 star review on TrustPilot - why not contact us, at any point, to report the problem you were having?
Great service for newcomers to CO2 systems
I shopped with CO2 Supermarket for a new system for my aquarium. Their website was very helpful with lots of tips and easy to follow instructions for a CO2 novice like me. They were not the cheapest, however their product offering was the most comprehensive and the installation instructions with videos covering everything made them stand out from the crowd. Delivery was very speedy and the kit was securely packed. I would recommend them to anyone looking to set up a CO2 system for the first time.

The best company by far I've ever dealt with, the customer support was excellent and helped me pinpoint my issues and the delivery service to Glasgow was only one day from start to finish. The products are excellent and in the years I've dealt with them I've never had a product faulty

Vorsicht: Webseite ist zwar deutsch, aber Versand aus UK. Der Hinweis dazu ist gut versteckt. Das ist in beide Richtungen mit entsprechenden Kosten verbunden. Fernabsatzgesetz gilt auch nicht.
Ich habe einen Adapter bestellt, der ist nach wenigen Tagen kaputt gegangen. Der Support ist zwar schnell, aber weder hilfreich noch zielführend. Es wird nur über die Verwendung philosophiert und wieso ich etwas mache, aber die Tatsache dass der Artikel nach wenigen Tagen unbenutzbar ist, wird völlig ignoriert.

Replacement dual stage regulator
After experiencing a catastrophic CO2 dump with a 10yr old single stage regulator, I was advised to replace the regulator, solenoid and needle valve as one item. I bought the dual stage regulator set. It is a really solid piece of kit. There was as initial problem with the solenoid, but the company advised a simple remedy - a drop of oil to the steel shaft of the solenoid with clear instructions on how to do it. Now working perfectly, the needle valve is easier to control than the last set-up. Incidentally since I installed this tank 5 years ago, I have only bought plants twice, the growth is so lush I have to regularly thin it out.

The filling adapter for carbonated…
The filling adapter for carbonated drinks machines works well. The tech help was great. I bought the wrong type of C02 which C02suppermarket identified as the problem straight away. You will need to buy Liquid C02 by the way and Adams Gas is also a great supplier and have dealers around the country.

All together a great experience. Being new to the c02 world,ordered the Ultimate-Pro Dual Stage CO2 System. Was not disappointed. Great quality product,alot of information sent on setup via email on dispatched, which I really liked. Made life alot easier. Only bad point wish I knew spanner was included,spent a hour looking for my adjustable later finding a spanner supplied, another real nice touch. Can't praise enough.

One small O ring gasket saved me buying a new Sodastream machine
I was getting a little ticked with my sodastream machine leaking CO2 every time I pushed the button. I worked out that I needed a new o ring gasket thingummy (can you tell I'm not technical) and found CO2 supermarket that let me buy just one for a very small fee. The gasket ring was with me two days later. I have now got a fully working Sodastream machine again. Yyyyaaayyyy. Thanks guys, thumbs up for the service and cost.
