I had to write to say how delighted I am with the repaired ring and watch I received today.

The workmanship is second to none, but more than that the communication and service throughout has been excellent - from attending the Clogau boutique in Cardiff to receiving 2 of the 3 items today.

An excellent company all round!

I had a fantastic experience with Clogau — not only is the “Tree of Life” ring absolutely beautiful and perfectly crafted, but the customer service was outstanding from start to finish.
Henry from the team went above and beyond to keep me informed about my order, even when there were minor delays. His communication was always kind, professional, and reassuring. I felt truly looked after throughout the whole process.
The ring arrived safely, fits perfectly, and looks even more stunning in real life. I couldn’t be happier!

I previously purchased a ring and a necklace from Clogau and had to return both of them due to faults. The rhodium plating on the ring was all uneven and marked and the necklace was dirty under the glass, despite them both being brand new.
I repurchased the ring and have had nothing but problems with it. Despite very little wear as it was a dress ring which I would only wear on evenings out which was few and far between, and a pearl came off. On contacting Clogau they advised me I could return it however I would be required to return at my expense and they would decide if I would be charged for fixing the ring. I was quite upset as I had hardly worn it and pearls should not be falling out of it. I was also concerned at the uncertainty of whether they would fix the fault and not at my expense and concerned how much it may cost to fix. I requested and estimate of the cost to repair should they expect me to pay and before I incurred the cost of Special Delivery postage to return. If they quoted me a cost that was high, I could have obtained other costs to compare before returning. Reluctantly I returned it and they fixed it however it happened again and again.
The ring was returned 3 times, I believe, and fixed and still the pearls came out. It appears it was a design fault.
In the end I questioned the viability of it being fixed again and now I cannot get the ring fixed.
In initially viewing the details of Royal Heritage they have put on their website, I felt that Clogau must be good quality. It appears that Welsh gold from the Clogau St David mine has been used for the Royals, and as I understand, many of which were before the Clogau of Wales Ltd was founded but I don’t know or could establish if any of the Royals items were supplied by Clogau of Wales but I have found the quality of the products I have had to not be of a good standard and doubt very much that the Royals would have the issues I have experienced with any of their items.
I had looked at buying a tennis bracelet which is silver and topaz, an inexpensive gem but at £270 I found this to be expensive for silver, but in view of my experience and reading other people’s experiences, I would be concerned about purchasing
What always amazes me when you write a review for a company that you are impelled to do because you have not received satisfactory service when you have attempted to resolve the issue with them directly, is that they respond to your review as though it is the first they have heard about it. Clogau has had numerous attempts to resolve the issue on the numerous occasions I have contacted them and I certainly would not want to put all my personal details for everyone to view on a review. I am also offended that you detail that I have not included details of the verified purchase as it could infer that it is not a genuine review. I chose to leave the review because of the poor service and fail to see how that will change in contacting you again. The qualities of Clogau you detail in your response which you appear to try and demonstrate how good you are, are not my experience with Clogau.

Great products but even better customer service. Having bought a number of items over the years without any issue, a recent gift from my sons broke. I returned it under the warranty (only6 months old). It was repaired and returned all within a little over a week. I could not have asked for more. Thank you

Having built up a collection of Clogau jewellery over the past few years (around 40 pieces) I will no longer be adding to the collection. My most expensive piece is the gold milestone charm bracelet . It is not an item I wear often - probably around a dozen times since buying it just over 2 years ago. A few weeks ago it literally just fell apart on my wrist - the bracelet just broke into two whilst sitting on my wrist. I always take great care with my jewellery and certainly have never done anything to cause this damage. This happened just outside the 2 year warranty. It was returned by my local store (Bridgend) for repair. I have now been told it can not be repaired and will be returned to me via the store. I am under the impression that the staff in store could not understand the response from customer service in that nothing could be done and no offer of any form of compensation was offered. They then returned it again to customer service to review this case but I have now received the same response via e mail. Basically thanking me for being a loyal customer and they understand my disappointment. How can they justify a gold bracelet that has a RRP in the region of £2000 only have a lifespan of so few wears and 2 years?? It beggars belief. I have spent thousands of pounds on Clogau jewellery both gold and silver. How long before my other items disintegrate? I assumed that their jewellery was high quality but have now been proved wrong with this item. I loved wearing my Clogau jewellery and considered it to be something I could pass down to my daughters but sadly have packed it all away today as it is causing me too much upset and feeling if anger to even look at it. The staff at the Bridgend branch have been very supportive and I get the impression they too were dismayed at the outcome . My advice is against investing in this jewellery and from reading other people's reviews online I see I am not alone in my opinion on the quality of these pieces of jewellery. I am now left with a scrap bracelet and gold charms that are now useless to me without a bracelet to put them on. I am sure there is better quality gold jewellery out there at a better price. This bracelet surely was not fit for purpose. I will now consider taking further action in this matter in the near future once my upset and anger has subsided somewhat.

Took my late mothers affinity bracelet into a local store, it had stretched but fitted me, I just wanted some more white gold beads added, didn't want it made smaller though, paid estimated cost but when returned it had come back at 17.5cm when it was 21cm prior.
It had been re threaded to normal size, this now doesn't fit me as it looks too tight, I am upset by this, my mum passed away last year and I wear it everyday.
Visited store and called service line and they are saying there is nothing they can do, if I knew this I wouldn't have sent it off, I feel I should have been told they couldn't do what I required.
They do a bespoke service apparently but I would have to pay £200 plus to prob rectify.
Not a happy customer at all.

This has so de_ valued my purchase 😔 especially when you save up to buy something special for a wedding anniversary!
Then to return it's £8.99 😠 😡 😤
So the ring at £42 is now only worth £33 🤔and you're still obviously not out of pocket ! As you pay for tracking!

Fantastic experience with customer service after my granddaughter accidentally broke my Clogau necklace. Repaired and returned perfectly. Very happy!

Had a tree of life inital necklace for my 30th birthday of my boyfriend. Was wearing it and it just came off in my hand. Turns out where the necklace is attached to the inital had broken.

I sent it off to be repaired thinking it would be cheaper than replacing it. Clogau not only repaired it, but didn't charge me for it. I cannot begin to express how grateful I am. Thank you so much! I can wear it again and its kept it's sentimental value.

Had some earings for Christmas, on one of them the butterfly was jammed in place & then the post snapped. Returned them after contacting customer service. No refund, no acknowledgement £150 out of pocket!!

Gorgeous jewellery but even better after sales sevice. I posted a bracelet back to repair, fully intending that I needed to pay for this. However, Clogau repaired this for free and returned to me.

Also, excellent customer service from a lady that works in the cardigan outlet that sold my mum a dog memorial necklace, she couldn't have been more helpful and friendly.

Will continue to buy from Clogau. Excellent products and service! Thank you!

With an unusual situation, following a fault with a necklace. I contacted Customer Services to explain my situation with the item being in Australia and unable to return during the warranty period.

Customer Services were understanding and showed empathy to the issue.

Once the item was returned to them, they provided prompt updates and resolved the item by issuing an exchange.

I am very grateful they have been able to help.

I bought my son a Wrexham FC Clogau watch for Christmas No 45/100 limited edition £550 , so not cheap.I purchased this a couple of days before Christmas from new Wrexham store.In the window there was advertising sign saying you receive a free necklace if you spent over a certain amount of which I was well over that amount, when I came to pay the lady said they hadn’t any left, I feel this should have been taken down as it was totally misleading people to buy!!!!!! I have emailed you on several occasions about this matter , your customer service department is awful.

I popped in to purchase a ring, Ffion the Wrexham store supervisor was so happy to see me, professional, warm & kind. It was such a pleasure to be served in such a manner. A huge thank you!

Ordered just before Christmas and received my jewellery the next day - which was amazing.
Beautifully crafted pieces and I absolutely adore the Bauble necklace which was a free gift when you spent over £240 ish.

Bought a signet ring with a ‘one week only’ chance of engraving free it arrived promptly but not engraved, having spent far too much money with this company over many years I did not expect to have to pay to return it and even offered to keep it without personalisation!! Years ago the service was good, now it is very poor, I’ll keep the ring and have just unsubscribed from their list, Paul from South Wales

Having just received 12days of Christmas box which is certainly not worth the £500 price tag, I contacted Clogau to see if there was a way of extending the choker which measured less than advertised, I was told no as it was ruin the design, so that means non wearable unless you are a child. And the adjustable ring oh my on a cheap bit of chain not even a band which you would expect especially when their adjustable rings on their site comes with a band. Apparently this is unique to the 12 days, mean this translates to I can give you tat and skin as much money off you as possible.
A little trinket dish £5 max a travel jewellery roll £3 and £50 gift card so you can ripped off more. 🤬
And you aren’t able to leave product reviews on their site!

Really disappointed with the Cardiff branches service, I bought the crafnant gold watch as a Christmas present as I 100% stand by clogau being my favourite jewellery brand from experience working in a jewellers myself for years and clogau is sold in the jewellers I worked in. I honestly will not wear anything else and always recommend the jewellery/brand to people who compliment my pieces. Unfortunately this time around I decided to use their direct boutique down Cardiff as I was Christmas shopping there anyway, I made the purchase and they took links out no problem, they packed my order and off I went. I was really disappointed opening the bag when I got home as the watch was not in any clogau box or branded box, it was just wrapped in tissue paper in a plain white cardboard box. I also noticed on inspection that the watch where they had taken links out had chipped slightly so I decided to attend the Merthyr shop today to hopefully get it rectified. The Merthyr staff couldn’t have been more helpful they were absolutely fabulous. They apologised for the box and gave me one straight away and when I mentioned the chip on the side, they gave me a new watch no hesitation. Again, on closer inspection on the new watch, I noticed the back of the watch had the brand name engraved on the back and on the old watch, completely plain/blank. So I’m not sure if I had been given a prototype or display watch down Cardiff? So happy I decided to make the change before Christmas Day or I would have never even known about the plain back.
