Channel 4 Arvostelua 

Couldn’t agree more with most of the previous comments, absolutely the worst screening service out there. Constantly crashes out of the programme you’re watching and sometimes even out of the app itself. And that’s after suffering the lengthy adverts only to have to watch more when you finally get in again. Ironically I was trying to watch the undeclared war, centred around IT. I won’t be using this appalling “service” again

Probably the worst streaming service out there. The advert breaks make up about 50% of the viewing. Horrendous, all to make you pay to have them removed. Extorsion is alive and well

Just watched first episode of Undeclared War on C4 streaming, really enjoyed it, won’t watching episode 2, incessant ads killed it for me. Less is more, as they say.

Watching Green Mile and ..... It was cut / edited to absolute slop! Missed out the entire scene of Coffys extermination. I can only assume this was for the avocado munching and gallon water drinking soft pathetic youth of this dying planet, just incase the males may where trousers again, or the females might actually be feminine again. Channel 4 has lost the only captive audience they had with the shady adverts and edited films. How dare you! Hahaha losers....

way too many ads

It's un watchable! Keeps going back to the start, constant loop of adverts, it's just painful. Such a shame as there's some good programmes. The technical team should be sacked!

Logging in is a joke. QR code doesn't work, and neither does their 'On screen' number. The serious alternstive cannot be email/password...But it is!!. And then the programmes are very poor, and the ad breaks far too long.

Was pleased to see F1 on channel 4 but way too much boring talking before the race. BORING BORING BORING.
When you advertise a F1 coverage please show much less crap nonsense talking and JUST SHOW US A LOT MORE OF THE RACE.
We turned it off before the race started just way too much crap, we watched the highlights on YouTube.

Happy to pay for no ads, then pretty much every show bypasses this with a 'for contractual reasons'. May as well then save money and use an add on to avoid the ads, if C4 won't honour the 'right' way. Interface is awful, no way to sort by date in ascending order for example. Fairly decent shows, but C4 show their disdain for their customers.

Struggling to think of anything good to say about the Channel 4 streaming service. Flaky software, appaling transitions between programmes and ads and too many ads.

Might just be the worst platform for ads, I counted maybe 10 in a row.

Bloody Joke, keep it too 2 like the rest

We love the programmes on catchup - despite most of them being very old programmes and repeats and annoyingly a lot of old BBC programmes that we should really be able to see for free as Licence Payers!!!

But that leads us to gripes ONE:-

EVERY LIVE PROGRAMME STUTTERS, SOME REALLY BADLY LIKE THE F1 AND MOST EVENING PROGRAMMES THAT MAKES CHANNEL 4 UNWATCHABLE LIVE.

AND because of Gripe One, goes on to Gripe TWO:-

Gripe ONE forces us to change our viewing habits to CHANNEL 4 CATCHUP ONLY, SO THAT WE CAN GET ROUND THE OBVIOUSLY RUBBISH IT INFRASTRUCTURE THAT CHANNEL 4 HAVE WHICH CAN'T MEET UP WITH DEMAND. So we are forced to wait for the catchup episodes to be enabled USUALLY AN HOUR OR TWO AFTER GOING LIVE.

And that's where we have Gripe THREE.

AFTER WAITING FOR OUR FAVE NEW EPISODES, WE THEN GET EVEN MORE ADVERTS, SO WE again BEND OVER BACKWARDS AS CUSTOMERS AND PAY FOR THE ANNUAL channel 4+....

Well that's all a joke because theres no positives there either.

AFTER PAYING £40 A YEAR YOU STILL GET ADVERTS ON CHANNEL 4+, and heres the joke, they often stutter too.

SO YES ANOTHER GREEDY TV COMPANY THAT PROMISES NO ADVERTS if you pay your honest hard earned cash BUT LITERALLY CANNOT DELIVER because they won't pay for the infrastructure or clever programmers that can get around consecutive access for Live & VOD users like the BBC can.

So no wonder people these days choose Gaming with friends over watching glitchy TV.

We could watch TV faster with our old VALVE TV's than with todays so called Hi-Tech Digital TV - it seems to have gone a full circle of fantastic development evolving into chaos, and now just seems like a joke.

Ads for on demand programmes are ridiculously long, repetitive, exessive and disruptive. I usually like what channel 4 stands for but the chance of me ever paying for a subscription are in the dirt despite easily being able to afford paying it. This is 100% the wrong way to go about things. You cannot make content unwatchable for everyone except those with the means to pay. Say you stand for something and then actually stand for it.

Today I was able to watch the Silverstone F1 grand prix on CH 4, so pleased I could as the presenters are professional and act like the adults they are. Unlike SKY where they seem to think childlike presenting is funny. Wish Ch4 could have all the F1 races live 😕

Jeff perval is terrible watching him do the news is very irritating. He is not smooth at recording the news he's jerky hesitates he's just irritating

Constant glitches- watching a show requires additional time needed to actually get the show to play. How can a service be this bad for so long?!

Constantly goes back on add breaks. Truly terrible.
