Would give no stars if I could. 4 mins of adverts to watch 5 seconds and then another 4 minute advert. Wait till it comes to Netfix

Shocking channel. No point watching, it is FULL of ads, relentless. Not even short ads, they force you to sit and watch 4 minute long ads and you can't continue doing anything else or it pauses. Worst channel there is by a mile, my opinion.

Why is channel 4 out of focus on this channel. But when the adverts are showing brilliant quality,Channel 4 Hd free view ? Especially now watching f 1 high lights now Confused. Do you reduce the bitrate on this channel?

Every time ads appear glitches accure screen freezes sound continues with no picture reset app watch more ads glitch again appears to be purposely placed to make you want to spend on the premium to get rid of ads tried uninstall and re install to no avail less than 1 star after hours of getting annoyed with it, factory resetting my phone and removing apps i didn't want to, to create more memory cpu processing power which was not the problem disappointed unhappy and angry

Paying for "ad free"should mean zero ads not a ton of Channel 4's own ads.

I have been using the subscription service for 3 years. My card needed updating due to expiry.

It wouldn't take my new card, so I phoned the support service. They were not interested and just fed me a load of lies.

They told me they don't expect credit card payments, only debit cards- even though the text I received said I could update using a credit card.

From telling me they would get someone to contact me to resolve.

Never contacted me, and it was clear the team answering the phone didn't want to help customers just get paid, which is a real shame, as they were polite on the phone.

I did manage to get it resolved in the end, when the old card eventually cleared, and it took the new credit card that they told me they don't accept!

They love to allow misinformed individuals to spread harmful misinformation about highly studied scientific topics like Global warming and ADHD.

You pay for add free only to have trailers bombarding every 10minutes. For “contractual reasons this program does contain some commercial messages” you bet they do.

We regularly record and watch series on catchup using the Sky platform - for some reason one episode of season 11 of "4 in a bed" was missing ( the final episode) I checked and found it was available on the channel 4 streaming service - went through the sign up process , requests to pay to go ad-free etc.. did not take up the ad-free at £3.99 as wanted to see how good the streaming was - the streaming quality was very poor, very low quality at first that tidied up a little after streaming for a minute or two, the ad breaks were HUGE, beyond excessive, and the whole experience ensured we won't bother with this service going forward

On demand is awful. You cant watch a programme for more than 5 minutes without 5 minutes of adverts, including them keep advertising their ad free subscription. Absolute joke

The same episodes of Everybody Loves Raymond week after week after week.

One star because I can't give zero. You pay extra to watch essentially terrestrial TV without ads and then everything you watch still has ads, all for channel 4 programming. Absolute joke, just glad it's a 7 day free trial because definitely not worth the money. Don't waste your time or money

Rubbish rubbish, greedy greedy people, as if cost of living wasn't hard enough without Channel 4 expecting you to pay for TV licence and subscription fees, consumer rights needs to step in in these money grabbing idiots

Today I watched the 10:00 news on Channel 4, and I was deeply disturbed by a comment that was made during a story about a car wash. As a Christian and the grandmother of a beautiful biracial grandson who is half Black and half Hispanic, hearing a remark suggesting someone “looks like they’re not even legal to be here” broke my heart.

Comments like that are hurtful and only create more division. I was not raised to judge people by the color of their skin, their ethnicity, or where they come from. I believe we are all God’s children. God does not look at our skin color—He looks at our hearts.

We live in a world that desperately needs more love, kindness, and respect for one another. Words matter, especially when they come from people in the public eye. I hope we can all do better and remember to treat every person with dignity and compassion.

Let’s choose love over hate and unity over division.

I like Claudia on The Piano but PLEASE could she find another word for 'amazing'...........it's very irritating when she uses this word about 40 times per episode!!

I don’t understand why I have to pay a TV Licence to watch Channel 4 and then they want us to pay a subscription fee as well.

There is some kind of rule where you need a TV licence for channel 4 to watch live but not for playback unless you are using BBC Iplayer. All of this convoluted rubbish shouldn’t be happening on a platform that has a payed subscription model which they keep trying to foist on viewers.

I’m just massively insulted that Channel 4 are still part of the Jimmy Saville, Hew Phillips Cabal yet they also want to charge subscription fees.

Maybe it’s time that Channel 4 put their big girl or big boy pants on and try and live off their Subsciption model alone, that would be the ethical thing to do.

Fact of the matter is that there just isn’t enough content. All of the films are the same trashy films they show on Film 4 that everyone has seen a million times.

The small amount of watchable documentaries and original dramas doesn’t warrant a subscription. Then there all of the pedestrian daytime TV shows like Four in a bed, Come Dine With Me, Below deck.

So let’s say I pay Channel 4 for no adverts and I am watching Below Deck but I get bored and want to hop to another channel, where is the sense in that, I would still inevitably have to endure some adverts with daytime TV anyway.

Shame on you Channel 4 for being part of the dying BBC racket and then getting greedy and launching a subscription service as well.

Absolutely disgusted with this company is everything advertised either woke, imgbt, or other agendas. I find it highly offensive and inappropriate for you to show the things you deem appropriate.

Couldn’t agree more with most of the previous comments, absolutely the worst screening service out there. Constantly crashes out of the programme you’re watching and sometimes even out of the app itself. And that’s after suffering the lengthy adverts only to have to watch more when you finally get in again. Ironically I was trying to watch the undeclared war, centred around IT. I won’t be using this appalling “service” again

Probably the worst streaming service out there. The advert breaks make up about 50% of the viewing. Horrendous, all to make you pay to have them removed. Extorsion is alive and well
