They didn't have the color/size I wanted in stock - but had 4 online with free delivery because it was over $75. They don't give you an estimated delivery date - but it does say that orders to Alaska or Hawaii may take 8 or 9 days. Alaska and Hawaii must get their online orders faster than Texas because at day 7 my order hadn't even shipped. I called customer service, and they told me they don't ship until 4 business days later - so it is still on time. What? I asked when I could expect delivery - and was told "soon". Emailing customer service gets no response. Buyer beware.

I went to the Cavender's store on Culebra and 1604 and I had the best experience ever. My daughter was visiting from Canada with my grandson of 5yrs old and he wanted a special cowboy hat and Nate & Anthony went out of they're way to make this experience the best ever thank you so much for making his day great

I ordered a pair of boots from Cavender's online. They arrived way before they said they would and the phone conversations I had with them were a favorable experience. The boots were Cavender's brand ostrich full quill white cowboy boots. They fit like a glove right out of the box. They were so comfortable I wore them the day they arrived with no break in period. I wish Cavender's made more styles in their brand (Old Gringo makes them apparently which explains their high quality.). All in all a great experience.
Don’t get their gift cards! They cancel online orders with sales!
I have been a long time customer with Cavenders and asked for gift cards for Christmas from there. I had ordered 2 sport coats on their buy one get one half off sale, order #04061390 as soon as the sale started, that got canceled because they “didn’t have what I ordered in stock”. Customer Service representative Amanda Trahan could only apologize that happened and offered no solutions. I just missed out and this was after the sale ended. Customer service is awful with Cavenders!!!!!! Don’t ask for there gift card love cause your stuck with no help and them picking and closing to honor a sale.

I do not recommend shopping here unless you want a giant headache and a month long fight and in the end no receive the item you wanted. This was my first time ordering and will be my last. I ordered a 2 for $30 Force Shirt deal and was sent regular pocket tees TWICE. In the end it their website description was wrong and after a month i had to get a refund and a bad experience. I also had to update my card information for both exchanges spend my time and gas driving 30 mins to UPS to return them. I don't recommend ordering anything from here.

I bought a pair of ostrich print shoes back in 2006 in Amarillo,was very satisfied with the shoes. Just recently I ordered a pair of boots for my son online. It said In the caption please allow up to 4 days for processing. Exactly 4 days later ups picked up the boots in Little Rock. I got the boots in 7 days. I ordered a pair on 4/23/25 and I received the boots today 4/28/25 shipped from Dallas TX to South Carolina. I find those times for delivery reasonable, they are not Amazon and I don't expect them to be. Also my son's boots are Cavender's brand full quill ostrich and they are very nice comfortable boots size was spot on,as are the pair I ordered for myself

Yesterday my husband and I went to the new Cavenders in lake Charles. He was looking for new work boots. We seen a nice sales lady we asked her if they carried that brand. She stated no they don't she went on her way. Not even a second another creepy looking sales lady came and asked if we needed help we explain to her we just spoke to a saleslady and we just looking around for a few. So we go to the women department I pick up a hand bag we look up the creepy lady watching us we move to the women boots to match the hand bag the creepy lady watching she was following us.it had plenty people in the store but she single us out we were the only black couple in there. I never in my life felt like the color of our skin would make my husband and I so uncomfortable. We walked to the very front of the store this creepy woman was there watching still she made me and my husband so uncomfortable and treated us like Criminals. I will never go back there best part of the day went to boot barn bought my handbag and boots without begin Stalk.
Just say ABSOLUTELY NO RETURNS ON BOOTS
My husband came in to the 820 store off of Bryant Irving in Fort Worth to buy some jeans and boots. He had always worn the 10D in boots. Well the sales person starts talking with him and my husband told him that it seemed that he was going through boots faster than he ever had before, (just making conversation) the sales guy keeps asking him about his feet, posture, etc. So my husband answers and he tells him to get EE instead of D. Salesman’s words, “there’s only an eighth of an inch difference between the D and EE. I really think this will help you.” Husband even asked at this point if a return was possible if he didn’t like the fit. Husband came home, put them on, walked outside and within 2 minutes walked back in, took the boots off and said that they were rubbing his ankle. Went to return today, (not even 18 hours after buying), and the manager, Crystal H said that they were too badly damaged on the soles to return. She couldn’t resell them. Less than 5 minutes of wear and he could not return. Why not just say, no returns on boots?? I could understand if he had gone dancing in them. Hell even if he had worn them Anywhere, but not even wearing them to the bottom of our driveway is absolutely ridiculous. This is worth mentioning if Cavenders corporate actually reads these, my whole plan today was to return the brand new boots that were purchased yesterday by my husband and I was going to buy the Black Jack boots that he had really been wanting. A 300.00 return for a 900.00 sale. I’m not a rocket scientist but I in that scenario the company makes money and wait for it… the customer is happy and MAYBE, (let’s be honest) I’m writing a 5 star review instead of this 1 star review.

Customer service not great/Stock issues
I recently made a purchase on Cavenders.com for three pairs of jeans, two of which were part of a BOGO offer. The first issue arose when one of the BOGO jeans was out of stock. Instead of notifying me, they shipped the order and simply canceled the BOGO item without offering any alternative solution.
After reaching out to customer service, I selected a replacement pair. However, 10 days passed with no shipping updates or package arriving. When I contacted customer service again, I was informed that the replacement item was also out of stock—yet once again, they failed to notify me.
So, not only was my item out of stock the first time, but it happened a second time without any communication. The only reason I’m giving two stars instead of one is that they did refund me for the missing BOGO item.
Scammers
Scammers. No packages were delivered. My first clue was that they put both of my packages together apparently and they were ordered two days apart from each other. Then they wanted to give One free item for it being so long then it went to 40% Then it’s 50%. Now they don’t answer at all

Ordered some Round House made in USA bib overalls, they sent me made in Vietnam bibs and ignored all attempts at communication. Never again will I order from them.

Cavenders sent me and email about a buy one get one free sale.I ordered 2 pair of jeans.After 5 days with no communication I called to check on my order.They said one pair had to be cancelled because they were not in stock.I imediatly called the store in Seiverville Tn and they said they had plenty in stock. My dealings with Cavenders are over
