Payment bullshit
Promised payment very quickly, send you an Osko screenshot, but it doesn't happen, have to call and hassle them, then suddenly the payment appears, don't hand over your keys until you see the money

Robert,
We appreciate you sharing your experience and feedback regarding the payment process. We understand that delays can be frustrating, and we are reviewing our procedures to ensure smoother transactions.
Seamless and transparent sale process
The process was very prescriptive and clear from the get go. Following 2 spam agents which requested a VA, the process with the 3rd enquiry or buyer saw the sale through within the fortnight. The exchange took place at a mutual location before advancing to the residence so that the car could be stripped as part of this transaction. I applaud and thank the buyer for supporting and following through with this trusted process.

No call back from ‘buyer’. When I eventually called them they offered $1500 less than the ‘instant offer’. Kind of a waste of time…

I would have rated 5 stars if not for…
I would have rated 5 stars if not for the last step on payment. I opted for payment via carsales. The buyer needed partial financing and there was just no simple way via carsales payment to cater for that. I would imagine that is a common scenario. It was a fiddle. None of the carsales AI chatbot not FAQ could help.

No stress
Selling our car on CarSales brought confidence both to us as the seller, and to the buyer, particularly when it came to transferring funds. We were able to see the moment that the deposit and balance was paid, and the process at point of sale was quick and easy, funds were received the moment they were released by the buyer. A very good experience overall.
