I had a wonderful experience booking a car. It was my first time booking one, and the whole process took just five minutes. The car was excellent, and the service was top-notch. I was very pleased with everything and will recommend Caravel to my friends and acquaintances.

Picking up the car was fast and easy, which was great. However, we had booked a Mini Cooper. When we arrived, we were asked to pay the amount stated on our contract for the Mini Cooper, which is normal so far. We paid, and then the person told us we would be getting a Volkswagen T-Roc. I told them we had booked a Mini Cooper and paid for it. They replied that it wasn't available, but that this one was the same... This is unacceptable: we pay for a specific car, not for another one, especially when the price doesn't change (on their website, this T-Roc is 40 euros cheaper than the Mini).

They are not the cheapest one but cars are new and clean, low consuption and weru nice workwrs, who were willing to give us the car few more hours than we paid it :-)

Everything went smoothly. The car was clean, in good condition, and exactly as expected. Pick-up and return were quick and easy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. No problems or unexpected issues at all. I would definitely recommend this car rental company in Crete.

Nem korrektek ! Kértem árajánlatot ! Totál árajánlatot és kaptam is papírra le írva ! Foglalozni kellett előleget . Mikor mentünk plusz pénzt akartak és mikor mondtam adják vissza amit utaltam plusz 100 euró pluszt kértek! Átverés ! Rejtett költségek ! Nem a valós összeget mondják meg!

Korzystaliśmy z samochodu 10 dni.
Fiat panda -dał radę w górskich warunkach Krety:) bezproblemowy odbiór samochodu i zwrot. Skorzystaliśmy z pełnego ubezpieczenia.

Nisam rezervisala auto unapred nego kada smo sleteli u Haniji.Auto je iz grupe malih auta.Nikakav depozit iznajmljivanje je bilo340€ za 10 dana preko ostalih renta car koje smo pogledali ,cene su bile kao da kupujemo auto ,a ne da rentiramo.Žena je rekla da je 100% osiguran i da se auto vrati sa rezervoarom kao ṣ̌to smo uzeli.Bez slikanja bez stresa kad ga vratiš.Pozdrav za Agnes učinili ste nam odmor nezaboravnim

L’unico rental car che accetta i contanti! Modalità semplice personale gentile, in pratica una cosa semplice e diretta come vorresti che fosse, senza troppe complicazioni! Abbiamo noleggiato una Fiat 500 hybrid! Macchina compatta comoda e perfetta per girare l’isola! La sede si trova a 100 mt dall’uscita dell’aereo porto!Davvero consigliato

Easy booking, no problems with picking the car up, easy and fast drop off, acceptable prices and good cars

I rented a vehicle for one day from Caravel in Hersonissos. Went to see them the previous day, confirmed rate (and the fact that it included full insurance) and the vehicle. Next morning when I showed up to get the vehicle, I was told there were extra charges for the super full insurance, even though the previous day I was told it was included. Never mind, I thought, I don't want to waste time, and therefore just paid the additional charge. The vehicle was quite horrible from inside: some parts were held together by plastic ties, and it was very dirty. OK, I thought, it is only for a few hours, and didn't complain. BUT, we drove from Hersonissos to Knossos Palace (about 40 minutes). On the way back from Knossos to Hersonissos, the car started registering alerts. Engine light came up, and said there was a fuel injection problem. Since we were close to Hersonissos, we brought the car back to the dealership there. We were told we could have another car, but for that we had to drive for 20 minutes to another location, and 20 minutes back, and this time got a smaller vehicle (the first one was for 9 pax, this one was for 7 pax), so our entire party could not fit in. Oh, and this second car, had absolutely no fuel in it. So had to fill up right away, At no point did we get an apology, for the condition of their car, and how it had caused us to waste a lot of time that day, and also the fact that all of us could no longer travel together. Please don't rent from this dealership. Their vehicles are horrible, they lie about insurance, and don't have any consideration for your time.

Ottima esperienza,leggendo in giro di cauzioni folli e clausole pazzesche con caravel mi sono trovato benissimo! Siamo arrivati il 13/08 e ci hanno consegnato l’auto alle 23,30 senza nessun tipo di problema o sorpresa! L’auto nn era un granché ma ci ha portato in giro per 8 gg senza nessun problema, alla consegna restituita auto senza nessun problema, nn l’hanno nemmeno controllata! Consigliatissimo!!!!

We booked our car on the website almost 3 months earlier than pickup and the final price for 1 week was 210€. Once we picked the car up at the airport the guy told us that the only way not to give a deposit of 1000€ was to pay for the full kasko (that we did). So the final price was 330€ with full kasko cover, no deposit e no credit card. Then the car was not perfectly washed, but still ok. Some elements of the car were not the best, like the gear that didn't work too well, in particular with 4th gear. Anyway the staff was okay and kind. Not certain if I would recommend it to someone...
