Promised delivery
Promised delivery, in stock washing machine. Now 7 weeks later no washer and told end of December maybe January.
There is product available in other warehouses across Canada but will not transfer to Halifax.
Very poor service for a national company. No regard for the customer!!

Thank you for sharing your experience with us.
When the order was placed on September 9, the item was not in stock, and we were required to place an order with the Manufacturer. While an estimated date was given based on past orders, we were flagged by the manufacturer on a production delay to get the item to our Dartmouth Distribution Center.
At your request, the order was cancelled and the refund was processed on October 25.
We apologize for the delays and inconveniences you've faced with the order.

CAS website payment has issues and communication regarding delivery is poor.
The Initial order process was fine (shout out to Devansh Gupta). However when the appliance arrived and I was notified to pay the balance to schedule delivery, the CAS website glitched- my credit card was charged for the balance of the order but CAS had no record of it. CAS insisted it was a problem on my end but my bank advised me to wait as my card was authorized for the purchase. Being told it was my problem and asked to pay again in order to schedule the delivery was extremely unprofessional and made me never want to use this company again. I waited 2 days to see if the Authorized charge either fell off my credit card account or was moved to posted- it eventually moved to posted, indicating CAS did receive the money; I was then able to schedule my delivery. If you do use this company, DO NOT pay online- pay over the phone as they Web site is poorly developed. I was not offered any compensation for the 3 hours that I spent on the phone with my bank on on the phone with various reps from CAS, who all insisted I hadn't paid and in order to schedule my delivery I had to pay again!
I selected the one of the time frames offered for delivery, Friday between 12:30 and 4:30. I was notified by email and text around 1:00 pm that my stove was on route and would arrive around 2:30 pm. 4:30 came and went with no stove, no text, phone call, or email to advise me where it was. The online tracker was useless and did not provide real time information, simply said the stove was on route and would be delivered at 2:30. At 6:00 I called the delivery service, and emailed all of the people at CAS that I had dealt with to inquire where my stove was and had no response back. I called CAS customer service and after waiting on hold for 1/2 an hour was told my stove would be delivered within the hour (at this time it was 6:30 pm.) The delivery company called around 7:00 pm to advise me there were still 40 minutes away, and seemed to be completely oblivious to the fact that I had been waiting for 2.5 hours past the time window with no communication. The deliver of the stove was fine (around 7:30 pm, 3 hours past the window) and the delivery people were courteous; however the complete lack of communication or explanation as to the delay in the delivery seems hard to understand.
Given the issues with the online payment and lack of communication regarding the delivery, I unfortunately would not recommend this company for future purchases and going forward will go back to using Home Depot. I had really hoped that this experience would be better than Home Depot, but was over all disappointed. I as of yet have not received any sort of apology or acknowledgement from CAS regarding the issue with the web site payment and complete lack of communication regarding the 3 hour late delivery. I recognize that this is as big company with many moving parts, however I am overall disappointed with the service.

Excellent Selection of Refrigerators
Excellent Selection of Refrigerators.
Very helpful Sales Staff, and competitive pricing.
Also, very important, the fridge I was interested in was in stock and able to be delivered in two days. This was not possible at other big box stores I shopped at.
One complaint... The delivery truck broke down on my scheduled delivery day. This happens and I am okay with it. However, a phone call letting me know that the estimated time of delivery was now 4:45 instead of 1:30.

The salesperson was great!
The salesperson was great, very informative. I am very happy that he suggested the extended warrantee because I have since learned that LG refrigerators are not very reliable. The fellow in the warehouse was great to deal with too.

My experience couldn't have been better
The salesman Daniel Travis was very helpful with information that made our choice of washing machine decisive. The 2 delivery gentlemen efficiently removed my old machine and hooked up the new one with new hoses. The personalities and knowledge of everyone we dealt with made this purchase non-stressful and we are happy with our choice.

The salesperson was well informed
The salesperson was well informed, honest and wasn't pushy. Uves was lovely to deal with and I felt I was in good hands to help me make an informed decision.
I would like to see that the appliances focus on repairability as well as their features in the information for the sales persons to know. But I acknowledge that this is difficult to research with accuracy.

Diligence turned into satisfaction.
The employee was very diligent is looking for the features I was looking for on a microwave. Not only in store items he checked other sellers of the same item. He found that Amazon had the same item, although it was over one hundred dollars more expensive then the one we eventually found in store, which is the one I bought. However I did need to go to Dartmouth from Halifax to get it as the one in the Halifax store was a display model. So saving that amount of money from the other place made the trip to Dartmouth easier to swallow.
