Not as good as they used to be
Not as good as they used to be. We traveled with them in 2024 and they were excellent. We are returning to Canada in June but, this time, the service has been awful. Information has been lost, an inaccurate excessive quote provided, they don’t respond to emails, and getting through on the phone takes a very long time. I’m still waiting for a reply to the email I sent chasing them for a reply to an email I sent earlier. We will use Trailfinders instead.

Disappointing customer service.
Went to the destinations show in Manchester and spent 30 minutes explaining the holiday in Canada that we wanted to Canadian affairs.
A Scottish lady assured us we would receive a quote on the following Monday 4 days ago, we are still waiting. Tried to contact them on the phone, waited for 30 minutes then gave up. Very disappointing.

Knowledgeable with excellent insider tips
Knowledgeable, efficient and friendly with excellent insider tips on where to stay and suggestions for activities to participate in whilst abroad. Anthony also helped us plan our road trip route from Vancouver to Banff. He suggested interesting, off the beaten track places to stay and visit, booked our accommodation as well as booking several activities for us in advance that may be booked out by the time we get to Canada ourselves. We are delighted to have found a company whose staff are able to make bookings and suggestions for places to visit, based on personal experiences, having lived there themselves.

Excellent start to finish!!
I have just had a 5* experience booking our 3 week (June 2027) Bucket List trip to Niagara Falls, Toronto, Banff, Rocky Mountaineer, Vancouver and an Alaska cruise with Jo Buckley at Canadian Affair. Being an avid researcher I have used TripAdvisor, Facebook and the expertise of 5 different travel company specialists. Jo Buckley has been amazing. From my first phone call (when she ran over her clocking-off time by a good 50mins answering all my questions) through to our final booking call she has been caring, professional, knowledgeable, detail conscious and most importantly personable. I am very fussy about hotels and she has been very patient working through many options trying to find ones that best suit my criteria. As it happens Canadian Affair was the best value quote but this was not my main criteria (I would have happily gone with them even if they weren’t) because of the excellent service I received. I would have no doubt recommending Jo Buckley at Canadian Affair to anyone.
