C Rent Arvostelua 

"Esperienza assolutamente da non ripetere. Ho noleggiato un'auto per il mese di agosto e mi è stata consegnata sporca. Dopo aver segnalato la cosa, ho deciso di portarla personalmente a lavare. Durante il lavaggio, ho notato che la gomma anteriore sinistra era completamente liscia. Ho subito chiamato per segnalare il problema e mi è stato detto di aspettare che qualcuno venisse a controllare. A causa del precedente con la gomma liscia, durante il rifornimento ho deciso di controllare anche il livello dell'olio: l'auto era completamente a secco. Ho segnalato anche questo e mi è stato chiesto di tornare in sede per il rabbocco. Ovviamente, mi sono rifiutato e ho richiesto che l'olio venisse rabboccato direttamente al distributore a loro spese. Morale della favola: mezza giornata persa per un noleggio auto. FATE ATTENZIONE!!"

I booked a car with C-Rent online and provided a pick up time in accordance with flight arrival time plus margin. On the day flight was delayed by 1 hour due thunderstorm. I tried several times to get in touch with C-Rent to inform them, but to no avail. On arrival I was told by the desk assistant that the 45 minutes waiting time was elapsed and that we were 15 minutes late. Because of this the car was available but only with a new reservation. Price was now more then double in comparison with the original booking. I told them that I tried to call several time to inform of the delay during the day, and that no-one answered the phone. But the assistant was just repeating the same mantra: that the buffet delay time is 45 minutes before reservation expires we were 15 minutes late. I ended up just going away without car,making a new reservation with a better agency and leaving C Rent with the booking fee.
This is not the service I was expecting

Abbiamo noleggiato on line una macchina a Napoli. Siamo stati trattati con molta sufficienza dal personale. La macchina non era pulita (c'erano patatine in terra e altro). Avevamo già pagato per assicurazione e dopo richiesta di conferma ci dicono che l'assicurazione che avevamo pagato era spagnola, compresa nel noleggio, ma che non c'entravano niente con loro. Pertanto, per non aver problemi abbiamo ripagato 20 euro al giorno per la copertura assicurativa. Non trovi la macchina alla stazione (vengono a prenderti ma i tempi di attesa sono lunghi) Insomma, io non li consiglio, atteggiamento poco professionale e trattamento di sufficienza nei confronti del cliente

These dodgy merchants took just under €3000 from my credit card. So, don't look at the excess amounts listed. They're irrelevant. Look instead at the very small print mentioning "extra...". If something goes wrong, like someone smashes into your hire & runs, these unlovable rogues will take whatever they want. Waited 4 weeks for invoice and quote after much complaining. Both fraudulent docs. Wrong car, wrong customer, no IVA (tax evaders), no shame. My advice: stay well away from C-Rent altogether. There's a reason the main players like Sixt, Hertz, etc charge more. They don't need tricks and thievery, either like my experience or such as the fuel amount subterfuge mentioned elsewhere (which they also tried with me, btw). I've reported this company, of course.

La compagnia prima mi ha confermato telefonicamente la prenotazione e poi mentre mi recavo a prendere l'auto me l hanno annullata dicendo che avrei potuto solo avere modelli superiri, al doppio del prezzo ovviamente. Scorrettissimi

NEVER TAKE C-RENT "AGENCY"!
I took a car from them once at Naples airport and NEVER AGAIN! It's a simple fraud, they gave me a car with fuel "on reserve", I returned the car to them with about 15 liters in the tank (3/8 scale) - they didn't want to refund about 30 euros! I wonder what would have happened if I returned the car to them with less fuel (in this case it is difficult to do because there were only a couple of liters of fuel at the pickup). Every normal and honest agency gives a car full of fuel ("full to full"), and that's how you return it to them. Then it is easy to do, while with C-RENT it is impossible. Who can guess exactly how much fuel needs to be poured to return the car. They refer to the contract they tricked me into signing (I naively signed it) which stipulates fuel as "like to like". That's why I advise everyone NOT TO TAKE A CAR FROM C-RENT, Napoli.
