Breville did everything wrong from start to finish. I contacted the EU costumer service in February in regards to missing the bean hopper part. They said they only shipped items within UK even though it's the EU costumer service? I offered to pay for shipping and the part missing but it didn't make a difference. They just said to me to check with retailers in Sweden, which I did, and no one here could help me which left me with their service. I told them the situation and asked how we can solve this and they ghosted me fully for moths even though I emailed them multiple times. In May meaning four moths after I first contacted them. I emailed and said I'd be coming to the UK and could have it shipped. They immediately replayed meaning they had purposely ignored my emails for months. Once they did ship it to me (in the UK) the hopper arrived dirty and used. Never experienced anything like this

I have had 2 breville kettles and both had the same problem with the plastic cover for the switch falling off. Is this a fault across the range? Really sorry but once you can write off but twice is poor..

Breville won't replace a faulty toaster purchased in March 2022. Slots 3 and 4 do not toast. The fault was discovered only after 6 six weeks when 4 pieces of toast were required for the first time. Breville will not replace because it was purchased (new) from ebay and "ebay are not our official retailer" Their website says that "all Breville products have at least a one-year limited product warranty valid from date of purchase". But not if you buy from ebay it appears

So far we have had too return our Breville microwave as it tripped all the electrics and stopped working and a Breville air fryer that stopped working.
Have also noticed that the toaster is now not working.
Overall not impressed by Breville- a brand I thought had a good reputation 😬

Bought a Breville Halo 5.5L Air Fryer and it stopped working after 14 months. Contacted Breville and provided purchase information, after jumping through their hoops to prove it was not working, they only offered 20% discount on a new one to a UK customer and nothing to me being outside the UK (Ireland). Waste of time and energy for a disappointing result, which they could have advised on day one. Poorly trained customer service staff plus the don't stand over their products! I will avoid Breville products in future.

Product: Breville HotCup water dispenser. First: it's a convenient gimmick, I like it. But: Breville's advert says: "Boil less water, save energy". How? You must fill the water tank like we know it from any good old electric kettle between a minimum and a maximum (nobody forces me to fill the traditional kettle to the maximum for 1 cup...). So, when you switch on the HotCup dispenser, the full amount of water will be heated up, and 125ml of the boiling water drips into a mug. An energy saving would only be possible when just the 125ml would be heated up, and the rest of the water would stay cold. Again: It was a birthday present, and I like it, but thermodynamics says that you can't save energy: heating up 125ml needs the same amount of energy as with a traditional kettle. Well, as we all suffer from brutal 54% higher energy bills from 1.4.22 (another 50% in October), any label promising "save energy" attracts us, doesn't it?

So far so good with the coffee machine that I have bought. I’m still getting used to the milk frothing but nice coffees and a smart machine.

Poor quality switch fitted to a Breville electric kettle. Contact area of switch is too small for a 2KW load, and hence failed prematurely. Switch had obviously overheated quite badly before failing. To add insult, the price of a replacement switch is almost as much as a new kettle! Avoid.

Kettle purchased at end of May 2021 stopped working by March 2022. Breville customer service is an online form, where they will "contact you shortly if your message requires a response." Not really so hard to work out that a request for a refund requires a response, but of course, your form disappears without so much as an email acknowledgment and you'll never hear from them. Do not buy Breville

Bought an oxygen concentration 1-7lt £289 from Breville, assuming this product was direct from Breville,
But when this arrived I was confused as it came packaged direct from Amazon, on further Investigation on Amazon I found the same product I'd bought from Breville £289 came from Amazon £249.. £40 cheaper, confused!! Me too!!
I can only assume Breville are taking orders on their site, then ordering on Amazon and taking £40 for the privilege,
If this Product had came direct from Breville I would have been none the wiser, but to be so obvious 😡
Avoid Breville.. go direct to Amazon save yourself a fortune.
The only Answer I could get from Breville is they dont price match, but they obvously don't have a problem ripping people off who can least afford it.

On-going issue relating to kettle that they will not exchange. Very poor customer service support. They havexwasted mybtime and potentially yours because they ask for photographs, then further photographs taken with a code they provide, then a receipt, then oroof the tsceipt relates to the item, guarantee information (normally peope do not keep I do). They still fob you off and then don't honour a claim because frankly they don't have to legally. You can send photographs, with a code they stipulated
you send proof of purchase, to no avail. They obviously are not bothered about goodwill or their shoddy goods. Make sure within the warranty that your item is functioning 100%. Any concerns get a replacement or refund. My advice, purchase from Amazon, no fuss refund. If you don't need to involve Breville then don't . Best advice don't buy Breville or connected shoddy brands. Breville..you need to do better, much better!

Bought a 4 slice breville toaster, 2 of the slots stopped working within 6 months. Would not recommend.

We purchased a Breville 4 slice toaster in 2018 and it failed after 7 months in 2019. The replacement has just failed again, and like the first one just trips the electrics again and again. When it works it’s fine, but the quality of the product is poor, poor, poor! I won’t be purchasing from Breville again any time soon!

I purchased a Breville kettle less than a year ago, paint has peeled off the stainless steel body. When I contacted customer services to claim on the warranty they were not interested at all, and said that the paint fault was simply “wear and tear”. I think the terms making it up as you go, and couldn’t care less about customer satisfaction, adequately sum up Breville’s attitude and values.

Brought a Breville Kettle and promptly wished I had not, very poor design, the water gauge is behind the handle so when you are filling it in a sink with your hand in the way it may as well not be there. You need a crowbar to get the lid off to fill it. Its heavy. Only saving grace is it pours well. Lesson to be learned, think a bit more before buying!

Purchased a toastie maker VST083, to replace a similar, Breville, which was several years old, still working fine but now sticking, on one plate edge. The latest model, is a much inferior quality, product, body, hinge and retaining clip, being thin plastic. Returned the product, very disappointed.

Registered a fault with an in warranty coffee Machine. They have ignored me for two months. Utterly incompetent. Its a known fault with limescale and therefore a fault with the machine. 2nd time its happened. Don't buy one if you have even slightly hard water. It will stop working pretty fast

I bought a coffee machine last year and the milk frother is not working good now. I contacted the customer service and they answer that unfortunately they cannot help me in anyway because I’m not in uk I’m in Ireland. It’s a terrible service and the machine is expensive for what it is! I don’t recommend the brand. Super disappointed

I bought a Kettle and Toaster combo in May. It wasn't particularly cheap. Straight away the toaster was terribly designed. Pushing the lever down tips the whole toaster. Then they have made it so you can only use the right hand side of the toaster before you can use the left. This just reduces the lifespan of the toaster. Then finally, the pop up mechanism gets stuck leading to toast that is impossible to remove without jamming a fork or knife into the internals to pry it out. What a load of rubbish. Out to buy a new toaster today and it will never be breville, even asda own value range is superior and a fraction of the cost!

Bought a range of matching toaster, kettle and microwave 2 years ago.
Toaster and kettle are in okay condition but the microwave is dropping to bits.
Only tend to use it 3/4 times a week and it's cleaned regularly but the inside is full of rust and you now have to press the door in to make sure it works.
When we contacted customer service, they said they no longer hold the licence for the product and, therefore, the retailer would honour the warranty. When we contacted the retailer, they said the product was out of warranty.
On the whole, really not impressed, particularly given how quickly it has disintegrated.
