Rubbish Boots Hearing Aids switched for (great) SpecSavers HAs…
I have just switched my (rubbish) Boots hearing aids with a pair from SpecSavers... Bottom line: Boots did not help my hearing... Specsavers did... same model hearing aid!.
Returned my top of the range "Phonak" hearing aids to boots (within the 90 day trial period) (full refund coming). They were rubbish. I was unable to understand speech in the hearing aid for my bad ear.. and no matter what changes the audiologist made it did not help.. he became quite unhelpful after the 3-4th attempt to make them better.
Specsavers on the other hand have got it right at the start... same model hearing aid - different audiologist.
Got quite a bit of attitude from the receptionist bloke when I gave them back too ... hey hoo, I'll stick to buying suncream from boots in the future and leave the technical stuff to others !

Efficient hearing test.
Very friendly staff and managed to get appointments extremely quickly. During the test everything was explained thoroughly so that I understood the issues with my hearing.
