Poor customer service at the front desk…
Poor customer service at the front desk yesterday (15 Sep) at about 6 in the afternoon. According to the email and phone conversation with the better customer call centre, I need to bring my ID to prove my account. However, the lady in front desk change my account name directly ( I want to keep my preferred name I use at work) according to my ID without asking my permission. A a bit upset when I find out about it myself when I login at home.

Updates would help
Not happy that I asked the receptionist about an instructor and if she had left or was on holiday. Simple enough . The receptionist had no idea was more concerned with eating her lunch .

Perfect service
I have been recommended to Better through the Leveson Centre to get fit again after various health issues. I attended the I can move which was great and had the gym induction with Josh last week who is so lovely he showed me everything and put a plan in place. I have now booked for supervised gym and am looking forward to the journey. Well done!

£12 reactivation this year but not for last 3 years
I have had a membership for four years
BET2410900. Your ads say it is easy to manage your account. That is not true. My original senior membership was discounted and had full access to the centre. I wanted to pause my account for 3 months and I was told the only way was to cancel it. When I reapplied I had to pay full membership to get access on Saturday classes.
Each year I needed to cancel my membership from Mar to July. Then reactivate it. I did this each year with no fee. This year I have been charged £12.

Thank you for your feedback, and for your loyalty over the past four years.
We’re really sorry to hear about your experience managing your membership, as this is not the level of service we aim to provide. We understand how frustrating it must have been to lose your original discounted senior membership and then have to rejoin on different terms, particularly when trying to pause your account.
We only permit freezes for medical reasons, so if you do not wish to pay whilst you are away for three months out of the year, you do need to cancel and rejoin when you are ready. When rejoining, you will be subject to a small, one-off set-up fee to reactivate your account.
We can confirm that we do still offer a Senior membership at your location, however you have not selected this option for the previous 2 years.
If you would like to discuss your membership options please feel free to contact your local centre or our Customer Service team.
