Great place and so convenient, no hassle. Equipment great and atmosphere very friendly. Caters for all my needs

The gym used to be very good, but unfortunately it has declined significantly in recent times. The staff are excellent and do their utmost to help members and keep the place running smoothly. However, the owner seems largely uninterested in maintaining the gym and, in many ways, appears to be hindering the staff’s efforts.

Membership prices were increased with promises of new machines and a better atmosphere, but neither has materialised. The gym is now overcrowded, with more members constantly being onboarded despite limited space and facilities. To make matters worse, there is little to no ventilation and no air conditioning, making the environment uncomfortable, especially during busy periods. It gives the impression that profit is being prioritised over the customer experience and staff wellbeing.

I have been to the gym twice (Friday and Saturday) closed both times with no explanation can't find out what's going on have emailed and sent messages but haven't had a reply
I've just got back from a 2 week holiday and have no idea what's going on

I have not used a gym in 23 years. I was incredibly nervous, and have a lot of shame/embarrassment about my fitness. I was made to feel incredibly welcome. My induction (with Craig) was great and he put me at ease and gave excellent demos about the equipment. Introduced me to some other members of the gym, and checked in when I was leaving.

The equipment seems great (from my limited knowledge and zero experience).

Glad I joined.

I love the place, everyone is very nice, but what I love the most are the yoga classes and the teacher Tracy ,she is great!

Everything is fine but it's dead no music to liven up the place, its so low I feel like I'm shopping, it's a gym higher up the music, and when there's classes that's when they higher the music 🤨 they need to do something about this in balbriggan also same music about time they need to change 3 years and still the same song being played, I wouldn't mind giving a free play list of songs since my brother😂😂😂

I signed up as a member a week ago and never regretted it.The class are well structured and meets your needs in areas that you wish to target during the lesson. The best time to use it is in the morning as the evening becomes pretty full.The gym is clean and well maintained. Laura and her colleague working last week were very welcoming and doing such an amazing work too.

I’m a regular at Andrea’s cycling classes, and she never fails to deliver an amazing session every single time. The classes are always engaging, full of energy, and the music selection is absolutely top notch — the tunes really keep you motivated throughout the workout.

Andrea is incredibly welcoming and supportive. She guides you step by step, making everyone feel comfortable and included, no matter their level. She has also created such a wonderful atmosphere around the class that many of us have become regulars, which says a lot about the positive vibe she brings.

I always leave her classes feeling great and motivated, and I would strongly recommend Andrea’s classes to anyone looking for a fun, energetic, and well-led cycling session.

I love this place! Spotlessly clean; ample and well maintained equipment; a wide range of classes; encouraging and kind staff; and lovely, friendly members.

I only joined Énergie Briarhill, Galway, recently, but already feel at home there and look forward to my visits. I've never been one for the gym, but this place has a really lovely vibe.

There's a wide range of members, and folks just get on and do their own thing. It doesn't feel at all intimidating, and it's laid out in such a way that you don't feel overlooked by other members while you're working out, so there's no self-consciousness.

After a free PT session, I have a plan that I really enjoy working through, and I can already feel myself getting stronger.

I don't know how they create such a good atmosphere and experience, but that they have so many long-timers in a business where high turnover of members is the norm is testament to the fact that what Énergie does, it does well. I'll be a long-timer myself.

Great environment for a workout. The gym is open 24/7, and most of the time you can find it relatively empty, especially outside the peak hours between 5–8 PM.

The staff are friendly, the personal trainer is very helpful, and the management regularly organises different classes. The environment is welcoming, clean, and tidy.

Gym with welcoming atmosphere thanks to the friendly Staff. I would particularly like to commend Terri who always greets with a cheerful smile and offers good advice and encouragement when requested.
I hope to be back to taking full advantage of the facilities after an accident to my left arm and in the meantime the sauna has been a great boon to recovery

Well equipped gym plenty of free weights and weight machines

Im a plus size woman, and as just that I found it hard to find a gym I liked, I'd go and try different ones and just make myself feel rubbish over how I was treated it was like no plus size people were made for the gym but that was until I joined energie fitness, I feel happy going here, I feel exhausted leaving lol but I feel like its one for the people, truly and they have the most amazing trainers to always help. Julia for me especially has made the gym feel like a safe place. So if your reading this pop down to the friendliest gym in town. Loving my journey there and I hope you will too.

I’ve really been enjoying training at Energy Fitness. The gym is clean, well maintained and feels very secure, which makes it a comfortable place to work out. The free two hour parking is also a great bonus and makes visiting really convenient.

The main reason I joined was for the heavy bags, and they’ve been brilliant for the kind of training I enjoy. The only drawback for me is that the bags are positioned quite close to the support structure, which limits the ability to move fully around them during training. If there was a way to hang the bags with enough space to work around them 360 degrees, it would genuinely make this the perfect gym for me.

Overall though, a really good gym and exactly what I need right now.
