I would not normally review a purchase that was not acceptable due to colour that I was going to return. The return procedures you have produced have not allowed me to return the product to you due to advised back log on your part in communication.

Went ahead with an order
Went ahead with an order, item clearly said in stock. Wasn’t. Suffered delays to out work schedule as a result. Paid for next day delivery. Contacted me via email in coming days - pointless at this point. Still waiting on refund.
Just another 3rd party tout who literally ship direct from the manufacturer and don’t carry their own stock.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I can see you placed your order on Sunday 27th April at 11.56AM for delivery on Tuesday 29th April. Lydia contacted you when our offices were back open on Monday 28th April to inform you that the item was out of stock. To date ,we have not received a response from you via email to advise if you would like to proceed or to request to cancel for a refund. Based on your review, we will cancel your order and issue you with a refund without delay. 99% of our next day deliveries are delivered the next day as requested. On occasions, during busy periods (approaching bank holidays) we may oversell items or the inventory may be incorrect when we try to dispatch your order. The item you ordered is a Bathroom House product which is usually always in stock. We apologise that you encountered this problem and thank you for your feed back. We are working hard to replenish stock quickly to meet customer demands.

Terrible! Sold me an item out of stock, informed me 6 days later offered me a completely different colour, green instead of black, my unit wouldn’t be back in stock for another 2 months. They said they would send the taps and fittings, but I would have to pay for another delivery of unit ( I had already paid £39.95 for delivery) ! I responded back by email to be told they were still answering emails from the 12 February, and I was in a queue. Rang customer services - who offered me another black unit , not what I wanted but went ahead with as I was paying a bathroom fitter . She organised a refund too . Delivery of taps arrived- but she had ordered another one on top of what I already had purchased alongside fittings, which I have also been charged for . Basically- go elsewhere if I was you .
In response to your reply , I contacted you ! I was offered a green unit instead of black! I never ordered the second tap - the lady on the phone added it to my order.

We truly apologise for any frustration that you have encountered. We always strive to provide the best service, and it's clear we fell short this time by not contacting you quickly enough. Our stock levels are always changing, the item you ordered was showing as in stock. You selected delivery within 3-5 working days and when the warehouse went to pick your order to dispatch it to be delivered the following day, it became clear that the inventory was wrong and the unit you wanted was not available. Lydia therefore contacted you as soon as we were aware and offered you an alternative unit in the same design/ range.
I am happy that I was able to find you an alternative unit in the colour you desired and you did not have to pay any additional delivery costs.
We can see that you selected two taps at checkout. If you do not require two, you can return one for a full refund. I have sent you a returns QR code. We are unable to "charge" you for anything. You select the items on the website and pay for your basket at checkout.

Thank you for your reply Diane - If you check you sales order confirmation, that you was emailed to you when you first placed your order with Bathroom House, you will see that you added two taps to your basket and paid for them. Despite this, we have still covered the cost of the return as a gesture of goodwill and sent you a pre paid returns qr code on 6th May which has not yet been used. Well I can only speak for the person's who I have spoken with ( Lydia and Zoe ) from this Company " Bathroom House ". And I must admit those two agents ( Zoe and Lydia ) went above and beyond excellent work . Yes So far it is early days but I will update if experience or customer services changes. Do not order anything from this…
Do not order anything from this company. Rock bottom prices - buy cheap, buy twice which is exactly what I’ve had to do. Shower bar fitted professionally, fitter struggled to get it to hold water but just about managed. Hasn’t been used yet due to late delivery of a shower enclosure (not from these guys) and water is pouring out of it. Had the automated response from them saying they’re dealing with customer service emails from 2 months ago so not holding my breath. I am going to contact my credit card company and see if I can raise a complaint with them. This company is not for real so do not fall for it with them.

Hi David, When a plumbing item is leaking from a joint, this usually suggests that the rubber washer has not been installed/ is missing and or damaged. Please send us a video to show your item installed and show the issue you are experiencing and we will be able to advise you further.

Poor experience - more training required.
Giving them a 1 on this occasion. When you put in an order and you let you them know something is missing from the order, they should be doing their best to complete the order, I still haven't had a response from them, this is now a month. It even says o their Auto reply not to send chaser emails - what kind of business is this? Update 24/05/25 - No phone calls to explain poor performance but I did get one email with a really odd phrase which I interpret as trying to shift blame (must help them feel better) - "Usually when an item is installed, installation is deemed as acceptance as the item could have been damaged or lost during installation". Still awaiting parts. No resolution as yet despite their comments.

We're very sorry for the experience you had and truly appreciate your patience. We understand how frustrating this must have been.
We’ve since resolved the issue - the email continued to say: "Usually when an item is installed, installation is deemed as acceptance as the item could have been damaged or lost during installation. We appreciate that you notified us of the missing parts within 30 days of delivery and that you have waited some time for our reply due to a back log within customer service. In the circumstances, a free of charge replacement set of cover plates has been dispatched today via DPD two day service. You can track the delivery HERE".
I have today tracked the delivery and can see that the item has arrived at Orkney Shetland warehouse. Due to your location, deliveries can take slightly longer. Thank you for yoru patience whilst we resolved this for you.
Good product, sluggish support
Fitted a new shower from Bathroom House in February. There was immediately a significant leak from one of the connections, for which no sealing washer had been provided (nor mentioned in the installation instructions).
I tried further tightening the connection first, which led to some damage occurring. I then decided to buy a suitably sized washer and once inserted, the leak stopped.
Contacted Bathroom House by email on 24th February to query why no washer had been provided or even mentioned in the instructions, and to ask whether it's possible to replace a specific part that was damaged. Received an automated response saying they were working through a customer service backlog and were more than a month behind. The email stated that if I send a chaser then I'll go to the back of the queue.
Today is 13th April and I've still not heard back from Bathroom House. Had no further issues with the product so far but this gives me very little confidence in their warranty support going forward. Decent product on balance but non-existent customer service.
UPDATE: Bathroom House did eventually follow up on my query and issued a replacement part free of charge in June. This has given me confidence that they can be relied upon for warranty support going forward, albeit hindered by a large backlog in customer service.

Regarding the issue you experienced: for every metal joint in any plumbing part, a rubber washer is required to ensure a watertight seal—this is standard plumbing practice. Occasionally, these washers can be overlooked during unpacking and may remain in the packaging.
