From Box to Grill :)
Well, I started ordering BYB when they started. Recently I recieved a Replacement Box because the place where I recieved my parcels dented it and there were a few items missing. The replacement box was offered to me immediately because Backyard Butchers cares about Customer Service!! Everything was shipped one day! So I was thrilled to put it in my freezer but left 2 ribeyes out and put them on the grill for myself an my great neice who is a college Student and doesn't always eat right! She loved the steak I thought she was going to take mine!! I love the product and have never recieved anything that when cooked wasn't delicious ! Thank yu BYB!

Waited in line for over an hour and a half - no one came out to let us know what was going on -
I almost left but I wanted steaks for my daughter and her family.
They really put a lot of pressure on you to buy the whole pack and REQUIRE you to listen to the whole presentation. I will NEVER buy from you again and have shared this with everyone I know.

Poor quality
The last package I received was a joke. The burgers were double packed, I prefer the single packed. The peppered steaks are the size of silver dollars in there raw state, they are gonna be 1 bite each cooked. Very disappointed, canceled membership and will not recommend ever

The first meat we tried were Boneless…
The first meat we tried were Boneless Beef Ribeye Steaks, which was a disappointment to me. I expected excellent restaurant quality beef, and they were small, and fair in taste.
Pepper steaks and sirloins were better, and others will be tried soon.
Kristin was quick to respond regarding question of second box delivery.
I did not understand this is a membership type deal, and would not have bought anything then. Please remove my name from your company.

Got suckered into the roadside cheap…
Got suckered into the roadside cheap meat truck of doom. I will start with the positive. It all fit in my small freezer, because its all small cheap cuts of meat. Another positive is it is packages appropriately for the apocalypse. Now the negative. The meat quality and flavor and texture really leaves something to be desired. Its like they 3D printed this shit off the back of their truck. The chicken has an almost turned flavor and is super suspiciously stringy like the way costcos chicken has been looking lately IYKYK. The beef also has the strangest look to it, almost gray in color, flavorless. I have to cook it a lot longer to even get it palatable. The quality is just not there, im sad because we really got suckered into dropping some serious coin, definitely a lesson learned. In this case the saying "you get what you pay for" didnt pan out. When you see their truck, resist that pang of excitement come over you and step on the gas and make like Andretti out of there. You're tastebuds and wallet will thank you!

Highly Recommend!
Everything was packaged perfectly and the items where still cold when received. We cooked our first steaks last night-they were a hit with the entire family. You could tell the difference in quality compared to what we are able to get at local stores. Highly recommend.

Not great quality
Our purchase netted three boxes of meat and a couple of other items for a not insignificant amount. So far, we've eaten the mostly the burgers and in my opinion, the quality hasn't been that great. Very high in fat content and not great taste. If I had the opportunity to buy this again, I would not do it. Maybe I'm a bit spoiled by going to real butchers and this might be better for those who just go to the local grocery store.
We haven't had time to eat a steak so maybe this might turn around but knowing how many burgers we still have, that part seems to have been a waste of money.

DO NOT BUY MEAT !!!!
I bought about $500 worth of steaks/beef from a pop up truck at the concord mall in Wilmington DE. The meat was horrible. It was mushy, watery and basically tastes like dog meat. It’s so bad, I won’t even feed it to my dog. Stay far away from these folks. Honestly I can’t believe I feel for this. The guy told me it was grass fed grain finished beef. After getting home and looking at the boxes, this meat is mixed with other ingredients, so it’s not pure meat. Horrible.

The customer service was great
The customer service was great! They answered my emails right away and listened to what my issues were, and made them right. Very satisfied with the outcome. As for the product, the burger was good and the so called rib eye was tasty. Very, very thin, but tasty. The chicken was not to our liking, but it wasn't terrible.
