⚠️ WARNING - FRAUDULENT CAR RENTAL COMPANY ⚠️

On December 4, 2025, we arrived in Naples and rented a car through Booking.com. During the pickup process, the company’s representative applied aggressive and misleading pressure to force us to purchase their “full insurance,” despite the fact that we clearly stated -multiple times -that we already had valid comprehensive insurance through an external provider.

When we refused to purchase their insurance, the representative deliberately attempted to intimidate us, presenting exaggerated and speculative cost scenarios in an apparent effort to coerce us into buying coverage we did not need.

We returned the vehicle on December 9, 2025, at 04:00 AM.
There was no inspection, no documentation, no damage report. A guard simply took the car at the gate.
For the record: the car was returned in the same condition it was received, and the vehicle already had visible damages at the time of pickup.

Several days later, without any prior notice, warning, explanation, or evidence, our credit card was charged 970 EUR by B. RENT.

Only after repeated complaints did the company send a single document allegedly indicating damage — without photos, without timestamps, without proof, and without any connection to the condition of the car at return. Since then, the company has completely ceased communication, ignoring all emails and inquiries.

This conduct strongly suggests a systematic and intentional scheme:
Customers who refuse to purchase insurance directly from B. RENT are later charged for unsubstantiated or fabricated damages, particularly when the customer holds insurance through a third party — making recovery easier for the company.

This behavior constitutes deceptive commercial practices, unauthorized credit card charges, and bad-faith conduct toward customers.

FINAL WARNING:

This is not a legitimate or trustworthy rental company.
This is a high-risk operation that targets customers who decline their insurance.

Stay away from B. RENT.
Renting from this company exposes you to financial abuse, false claims, and total lack of accountability.

“We rented a car from you on December 4th, and when we returned it, everything was fine. After a few days, we received a charge of about 1,000 euros without any prior notice, and when we contacted you, you said that we had caused damage to the car in that amount.
This is absolutely not a true statement; this is a scam.”

They will check you in/out with no issues, you'll return the car with no issues and they will confirm this with you. They even gave me paperwork confirming the car was in a good state. A few weeks later they charged £89 to my credit card, no communication or explanation. I contacted them repeatedly, no reply. A month or two later they charged me again, another £50 - again I have been trying to contact them for one month now and nobody replies, their phone line has been 'down for maintenance' for a month, and nobody responds to emails. DO NOT USE

Sede Aeroporto Capodichino Napoli. Nessun problema sia per il noleggio che per la riconsegna. Tutto il personale molto attento, disponibile e professionale. Grazie e ci rivedremo presto

La competenza dalla prenotazione fino alla fine del noleggio. Non è la prima volta che noleggio l’auto da B-rent e non ho mai avuto problemi ne con le auto ne con il servizio. Per me è diventato il mio noleggiatore di fiducia a Catania

Ci hanno consegnato una macchina differente. Per evitare eccessive fregature ho pagato 110 euro di kasco. Oltre questo hanno trattenuto 90 euro di deposito non ancora restituito.

Sono molto disponibili e precisi oltreché gentilissimi

Schäden aus früheren Vorfällen werden an nächsten Vermieter weitergereicht. Leider prüfen Portal wie Check 24 zu wenig die Details.
Nie wieder B-rent- absolut nicht vertrauenswürdig.

Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Auto sempre nuove e in ottime condizioni. Staff sempre gentile e disponibile. Nulla da dire….e normalmente sono un rompiballe.

Auto gehuurd via Booking.com bij B-rent Olbia.
Ik kreeg de auto niet mee omdat ik niet mijn volledige voornamen had ingevuld.Dit heb ik inderdaad niet goed gedaan maar vanuit B-rent geen enkele moeite om het te herstellen en evt. een nieuwe boeking te doen.vervolgens via Booking.com de auto gehuurd bij Sicily by cars 4 u moeten wachten en €336 armer.
Thuisgekomen eens aandachtig de huurvoorwaarden doorgelezen ,betaalmiddelen moeten voorzien zijn van volledige naam wat in Nederland al niet voorkomt en bij het ophalen moet je tevens een boardingpas voor de terugreis tonen.???Dit staat in hun voorwaarden.
Ik heb Booking.com hiermee geconfronteerd maar houden zich 4 keer van de domme maar na blijven volhouden zeggen zij nu dat zij zich houden aan de voorwaarden van hun contractant.
Nooit geen autohuur meer via Booking.com en hun partner B-rent.

Ich benutze gesch. oft Mietwagen, hier geht es um eine Anmietung privat bei B-rent.
Bei der Abholung des Fahrzeugs am Flughafen Catania ( Sizilien ) wurden wir so unfreundlich behandelt und angeschnauzt warum das wir das Auto 1 Std später abholen kommen. Wegen Verspätung mit der ITA airline 👎 war der Grund, die ITA passt ins gleiche Kapitel der Unfreundlichkeit wie B-rent.
Achtung!! Unbedingt das Auto im Detail fotografieren sonst werden Sie arg zur Kasse gebeten bei der Rückgabe!! Es wird peinlichst genau nach Steindchlägen, kleinen Kratzern etc, gesucht!!Unbedingt eine Vollkasko abschliessen wenn Sie nicht unerwartet eine Rechnung von 600€ präsentiert bekommen wollen!!
Ca. 2 1/2 Monate später nach Rückgabe des FZ wurde meine Kreditkarte nun mit 50€ belastet, angeblich Admin Aufwand für eine Ordnungs-Busse wo ich bis jetzt aber nicht erhalten habe(auch nach mehrmaliger Nachfrage bei b-rent per email nicht)
Empfehlung : Finger weg von b-rent!!

So rented this car from this company and right away. As soon as I drove off the lot engine light went on. Then I scoured the internet to see what the problem was and the car started counting down that it wouldn't start in 100 km. So then I found out that there was an ad blue option in Europe that you have to add this additive to diesel cars to keep them running for emissions. They told me they'd reimburse me the full amount and then they send me half the amount as I was promised the full amount so there was 25 euros. Stay away. It's a scam. This company will not reimburse you. They say they will but they won't and then they blame it on everything. Took 3 months to get to this point

Unfortunately nothing good to report. After paying full insurance they took the deposits 90 euro without providing the receipt. Tried to contact them with no luck. They are fraud artists. Never again B-Rent.

Fuyez cette agence si vous le pouvez encore.. Mauvaise foi et malhonnêteté, dès que vous arrivez les problèmes commencent, ils ne cherchent qu'à vous soutirer de l'argent et vous vendre de force des assurances que vous possédez déja. Nous avons dû rajouter 270 euros supplémentaires. Même si vous possédez une carte de crédit.. Nous avons appelé notre banque devant eux qui a confirmé que notre carte est de crédit.. L'arnaque dans toute sa splendeur

I booked a car through my Amex, assuming the company was vetted, but it was a complete disaster from start to finish. Our pickup from their Milan office on a Sunday afternoon pure chaos: only one extremely rude staff member was on duty, and we waited up to 4 hours before being served.
The vehicle we received was a different class than what we purchased and filthy. We were forced to take it as there were no alternatives at that hour on a Sunday. The staff member tried to upsell expensive insurance after giving us a damaged and dirty car, then later claimed it was too late to add insurance.
When returning the vehicle a week later, the same staff member falsely claimed we returned it in unacceptable condition, ignoring the fact that it was already dirty and damaged when we picked it up. It's as if he had no recollection of giving us a filthy car so I assume it was something he did regularly. Photos and videos we had taken prove this. The staff member was dismissive, rude, and aggressive throughout.
Multiple other customers that day were also denied their vehicles despite long travels. After back and forths with their head office, the lack of customer service was consistent.
Avoid B Rent at all costs – unethical, unprofessional, and extremely frustrating. I never rely solely on independent reviews, but in this case, the experiences of other customers are completely accurate as it matches what I experienced.
