The lady who is doing the papers at ATLAS Adeje , next to Hard Rock hotel is yelling at customers. You ( the customer ) are not allowed to check the car when you take it. "One minute is enough, you trust the company " she said. The board will tell you if there is anything to be worried. We had a 2026 white Skoda Fabia. The right side made continuous noise on turning , from the rear wheels. My husband is a mechanical engineer. For her knowledge ( because she is renting cars) , problems with breaking pads do not show on the car's board. Does anyone check the cars? For the price and attitude you get when renting ? Does she know that she has salary because she is treating the customers with respect? Does she know the meaning of word "respect " because definitely this company does not check the cars. There are much cheeper companies in the Tenerife. I am sure they might even have much friendlier/ helpful staff. I would never recommend this because of safety and rude attitude towards the customers. She is treating her colleagues with the same level of disrespect in front of customers. If you need to train your colleagues , you are waiting for clients to leave and do not scream in front of the customers.

BIG SCAMMERS!!!!! Take care at renting car from this place !!!!!
We have rented a car for 340€ for 3 days (plus deposit 300€). After first day of driving we told them that the condition of the car is poor but they said that is not. We had problems with the clutch from the first day but in the 3rd day of driving it the clutch break and we end up in the middle of the road . We contact them to come and get the car and pick us up as well as there was no way for us to get back to our hotel . They send the taxi and they took us to their central office where they tried to blame us breaking the clutch that they said they repaired a month ago. How can a brand new clutch be broken after 2 days of driving for 3-4 hours a day ?!!!! The women at the desk put all the blame on us although she knew they gave us a broken car. After we left from their office we had to take the taxi back to our hotel on our money. The men that rented us the car was also there and he was blaming us as well. He said that he drove the car to the hotel where we were staying in the morning we rented but also he was the one that in that morning didn’t know where the car is parked and he had to call another of his colleagues to ask wehere the car is. THAT GUY IS A BIG LIAR!!!! He didn’t even know where the car keys are and he also had to ask his colleague for the car keys. After we left the office they also tried to get more money from our bank card. BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!! THEY ARE BIG SCAMMERS!!!!

We have just returned our car, had the small car for 4 days, 50 euros per day. No complaints, very good service, and very friendly.They take your card details which is a 300 euro deposit, but that's because they want the car and keys back. If you rent a car from hard rock hotel, that would be 70 euro per day.

Picked car up Nic very friendly showed us the car that was very damaged, husband got photos of damage. Returned exactly same, no issues, accidents . We asked to in morning to inspect and they declined saying it will be picked up in an hour after we left for airport! Surprise,, no deposit returned, husband called Nic at branch in Adeje by Hard Rock Cafe and he advised no problems will received money Monday , No money and after calling and texting we received a photo of the original damage circled!! Advised this is new! Scammers! Disgusting, don’t use them! We have photos of before as evidence.The lady manager was awful, shouting, talking over us, no customer service skills and very condescending. Even sent her picures of damage and said it’s new!!!! Don’t use them, they can’t be trusted!

Onze Atlas ophaalpunt was vlak bij ons appartement . We kregen eerlijk advies om een week later te huren ivm lagere prijzen .
Het contact verliep aangenaam , behulpzaam en vlot .
Net als vorig jaar en dit jaar weten we Atlas volgend jaar weer te vinden .

Great communication from atlas choice , will use them again. The emails explained everything we needed to do and how to collect car. Couldn't be better! All this at a very competitive price.

I was surprised to read that this company is still active, I filed a complaint against them and was told that they went bankrupt...
I had my one and only worst car hire ever with this company. We were travelling to Sardinia with our small daughter, when arriving at the airport in Algero to pick up my car, I was explained by the guys from Target Rent that because I was late with 50 minutes, the voucher has become invalid. RIDICULOUS!...
You may guess, this was quite shocking for me and my family. I tried to argue with the lady from Target rent, and finally a guy came and told me to contact Atlaschoice, as I have made the booking via them. I started to contact Atlaschoice. I tried more than 10 times all the time an automatic response...
Finally I paid to SIXT for car rental on the spot. After my vacation I looked for a layer in my country Bulgaria and by the end of 2016 received a mail that Atlas Choice have gone bankrupt.
I would not advise anybody to make a reservation for a car rental via this company. All the positive reviews I doubt...unfortunately it is very difficult to prevent from fake reviews...

Wir sind völlig überrascht über die schlechten Kritiken dieser Firma.

2016 haben wir ein Fahrzeug angemietet. Wir hatten nicht darauf geachtet, dass zu bestimmten Uhrzeiten ein Zuschlag erhoben wird. Wir konnten im Nachhinein den Abholtermin so legen, dass keine weitere Gebühr erforderlich wird. Auch das Umbuchen verlief reibungslos und gebührenfrei.

Ort der Anmietung: Flughafen Sofia/Bulgarien.

I rented a car via Argus from 14-22 August, cost £133 + excess insurance via AXA £38. Stupidly got my dates wrong and arrived to collect 15-Aug. Car rental provider was Green Motion at Glasgow airport. GM (backed up by Argus) said that because I was late they get to keep all my money and they had rented out the car to someone else. GM quoted me £30 a day to rent a bigger car which they had - another £240. I eventually agreed £160 with GM for this bigger car. When I viewed the car I could see no difference in size between it and the VW Golf I had originally booked. GM then said that the excess on this bigger car was £2,500 not the £1,000 I had paid for from AXA when making the original booking. This would cost me an extra £20 (approx) per day - a further £160. I declined to pay this. JEEVA (the GM repesentative) said that I would be charged £2,500 for every scratch on the bumper if I didn't pay the additional insurance. I already had paid for £1,000 excess insurance via AXA. How could a bumper scratch cost £2,500 ? JEEVA then said they would not rent to me without a car seat for my seven year old which would cost me £14 per day - a further £112. (I think you can buy a car booster seat for £15-20.) So, in total, to get the same size of car that I had already paid for, for the full period they wanted an additional £432 on top of the £171 I had already paid. JEEVA refused to give me his second name. JEEVA lied to me as they had the same size car available that I had originally booked. He was determined to try and cheat us out of more money - I suspect he was on commission.
I have since read the agreement. It states that "if you collect your vehicle outside the pick up time additional charges MAY be applicable.....the vehicle may not be available if you arrive late..... THE FACT IS THAT OUR VEHICLE, WHICH WE HAD ALREADY PAID FOR IN FULL FOR 9 DAYS, WAS AVAILABLE. JEEEVA LIED IN ORDER TO TRY AND CHEAT US OUT A FURTHER £432.
My advice is pay a little more and rent from car hire companies that have recommended ratings other wise you are puting your head in the Lion's mouth and they will find a way of getting you somehow, especially with unscrupuLous dishonest fraudsters, like JEEVA.
