In a week I am receiving emails about how my membership expires in 20 days. on 27.01.2023

the server can not find either one domain name
either anxiaty.co.uk or anxiaty.org.uk

makes one wonder, what is this all about?

I volunteered for just over 6 months with anxiety UK on their helpline. The support and training we received was excellent and the experience was invaluable! The work they do is so important and they offer a variety of methods for support for those struggling with anxiety. Among the free support which is provided there's a membership which allows you to gain access to lots more for just £40 a year which includes a smaller fee for those on benefits. This also gives you access to reduced cost therapy which is really helpful and again, the cost is based on your household income which makes it even more accessible. Overall, working with anxiety UK was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to gain experience working within mental health or if they just want a way to help others.

They need to get their act together! I paid for a download of 'Fear of Flying' to be told that an automatic email with this would arrive instantly. It hasn't!!! I've spent too much time now "trying" to get it resolved! Its them WHO create ANXIETY, I've never known such chronic service!
I've since been asked to review my already made comments. I stand by what I have said. As soon as I paid the donation requested, I should have received an EMAIL with an ATTACHMENT! When I endeavoured to get some form of help, I was "eventually" told to try looking in my junk emails and then told that it would have been downloaded to my download folder!?*

All the help seems to rely on someone suffering from anxiety to pay for help , and it is supposed to be a charity…could not find and email address to contact the “Charity” confidentially…sadly very disappointing

I was referred by a charity after contacting them initially struggling with cost of living but was referred through the charity to anxiety UK because of how I was feeling.

I don’t think there was any contact at all with the charity where they didn’t mention their reasonably priced services. Even in the initial assessment the individual conducting it mentioned the reasonably priced mindfulness sessions I could obtain (in the middle of me discussing why I was struggling) subsequently I was sent information following assessment and they outlined what they thought would help and stated they’d go back to the charity who referred me to do a funding spec to see if they could fund me but if not then they would contact me about self funding options.

At this point I withdrew from the process because this ‘charity’ who are supposed to be supportive kept mentioning payment etc and if I’m honest it felt like they didn’t care.

Also if I’m referred by another charity who I’ve contacted for cost of living assistance you’d think they’d have the common sense to know that self funding wouldn’t have happened.

If you want to feel like a walking £ sign then contact anxiety UK.

AnxietyUK has been so helpful to me - I joined to access affordable therapy, though I was worried there might be a long wait list. This was absolutely not the case, and I was assigned a therapist super quickly! They were also super helpful when unfortunately our schedules didn't align, and I was matched with a therapist with availability that matched mine. I really recommend AnxietyUK to everyone- they also have fantastic group resources and I think it's really really helpful, especially if you can't afford private therapy and the wait lists in your area are too long.

I attended the first session of a course focusing on anxiety management and I found this to be very accessible and clear with useful resources and tools provided.

Fantastic resource and the UK is lucky to have such a wonderful charity which helps so many people. I've been a member for two years and have access the weekly sessions as well as CBT. My CBT therapist has made a significant impact on my life and how I deal with things! I am grateful that such an organisation exists. I've also signed up my husband who is new to Anxiety. Thank you!!!

The organisation is Highly organised and compassionate in their way of assessment and introduction. I felt welcomed and without judgement.
My therapist is absolutely amazing. An experienced, highly empathic and Genuine individual. I look forward to every session which has made a huge positive impact to my life.

I have had quite a few telephone conversations now with my counsellor and I wanted to let you know that I am very pleased to get her help. My counsellor is very supportive and empathetic.She is very professional at the same time as easy to get on with. Her worksheets on helping me to cope with my anxiety are useful and I use some of the techniques regularly.I have some way to go yet but, hopefully,I will get there.

Has started off very well.

I had my first session last week. The session went smoothly and was an introductory to the future sessions. It was in my view a good start and it was explained to me what the two components of the sessions would cover & monitoring of progress.

I am pleased I took this step to ask for help.

I ran/cycled 200k for Anxiety UK in May 2022. I had contact from the Charity from the moment I decided what I was doing and am still in contact with them now. I’ve never had a charity be so involved and genuinely interested in what I was doing and felt really supported all the way through. They posted on their social media about my event, checked in with me, congratulated me, nominated me for an award and reached out asking me if I’d like to be a part of additional things. It made the challenge even more rewarding for me and I can’t wait to hopefully work with them more in the future. Everyone I had contact with was so incredibly friendly.

Was anxious about what to expect. I was able to meet others who have similar problems. Was brave enough to talk and ask questions as well. Will use the site again, but not yet, as I other issues as well and use other sites.

After having a bad time with the NHS over the past year, I had essentially become housebound and very isolated. Anxiety UK set me up with a therapist very quickly and also has a lot of useful services. So glad to have found them!

I signed up to the student membership earlier this year after finally taking the jump to starting therapy. After filling out the referal form I was handed to a MBACP registered therapist who I've been with for the past twelve weeks and have had an excellent experience with.

It's made counselling very affordable to me as a student and I am very greatful for the service that Anxiety UK have provided. Keep up the great work!

After not being able to access a therpaist through the NHS, I was refered to Anxiety UK which helped to get me set up with a therapist in no time at all. Over the course of the sessions, my therapist Marisa helped me to regain my confidence and improve my outlook, I cannot thank them and her enough.

Claim to be a charity but the main purpose is to EXTRACT MONEY from the USERS. Got auto renew membership without my consent. Email them they answer that should give them 10 days notice. I never use the service why do I need to pay. Even so I have 30 days return policy. YOU CAUSE PEOPLE ANXIETY not helping!
