A Mellor Plumbing & Heating Services Arvostelua

My hubby met the guy who serviced boiler . Polite efficient respected our property . He even took footwear off which we appreciated cos just had new carpets . We are happy with the service and we defo will book again . Plus you where highly recomended to us by 1 of my clients i clean for thank u .

We had our old gravity-fed boiler replaced with a Worcester Greenstar 28kw cdi compact ERP Combination boiler on Darren’s recommendation. This entailed major pipework re-routing etc. The engineers (Ben & Terry) arrived dead on schedule. The work was carried out fast and efficiently and everything explained and tidied afterwards. The following day the bricklayer finished the job outside taking much more care than was expected. The whole job seems to be very professional and good value for money. We can recommend them.

Friendly, honest reliable service. Nothing was too much trouble. We will continue to use this trustworthy service for future work.

The Engineer was on time. Very polite and professional. Have used them now for a number of years and have recommended them to friends and family and those who have used them have also been impressed by their service and customer support.

Rang for a service engineer to do a service and gas safety check. Technician turned up on time and carried out the work no problem. Could not have been easier.

We have always found the heating engineers to be helpful, understanding, effective and efficient
The organising of the service was very easy and good value and would absolutely recommend A Mellor services

Engineer polite and efficient. Arrived on time and completed work

The gas safety check was carried out promptly and efficiently in October 2025.

Just recently, I requested a copy of the gas safety certificate which was promptly emailed to me.

Excellent service all round.

The work the engineer did was great replacing shower and fixing a leak.

I was advised that a part/new system needs replacing, I got a second opinion and told me nothing needed replacing, saving me thousands.

I was told the cost for the work from the engineer (he had phoned the office for a quote) and when the bill arrived it was £100 more - "call out charge", (this wasn't an emergency call out this was a booked appointment). Neither office staff or the engineer said anything about a 'call out charge'.

Very sneaky, please be wary about extra charges.

I have used A-Mellor for all plumbing work across my property portfolio for many years, always valuing their professionalism and competitive prices. Recently, they have expanded their services to become a complete home renovation company, which was perfect timing when I purchased a very rundown new property.

The project required a full refurbishment, involving almost every trade: electrics, plumbing, plastering, carpentry, painting, window fitting, roofing, flooring, and rubbish removal. Instead of me having to find and manage ten different contractors, Darren from A-Mellor met me on site. We walked through the extensive list, and he provided invaluable professional advice. He then coordinated everything, returning swiftly with a comprehensive, competitive quote and a clear timeframe.

The best part? Once I handed over the keys, his professional team took care of everything. This incredibly efficient service turned a months-long coordination nightmare into a seamless process. My property was transformed and ready for a new tenant within just a couple of weeks.

If you are looking for quality, efficiency, and professionalism at a fair price—whether for a single job or a major project—A Mellor is the answer. They have evolved into the ultimate one-stop shop, and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Offices ladies were so lovely, nothing to much trouble.

Had boiler replaced at a real time of need, along with all my radiators, and yearly services since. Not once has there been an issue with these guys. Highly professional, skilled, and great at communicating. Couldn't recommend them more.

Very satisfied with the service received engineer arrived on time and I was kept updated on the arrival time.
Engineer was very polite and professional and showed me what the problem was and what was required to fix issues. The cost was considered fair for the work done,
Would definitely recommend Mellors,

I really appreciate the fact that they responded promptly to my request. But i hate to say that they have been to my apartment twice to fix my boiler yet the boiler is still not working properly.
