Alpha Heater 

This is simply a 350 watt ceramic heater. It is a generic product sold under many names. It uses little electricity because it is only 350 watts. It will put out a small amount of heat compared with ‘normal’ 1500 watt ceramic heaters. Lower cost to use? Sure because it is a tiny heater.

“The Consumer Expert Review” shows these heaters to be the most efficient of them all, consequently I purchased one intentionally. Whilst ordering a button popped up offering a 50% discount on it. I clicked the button, but to my horror, I realised that I hadn’t read all of the small print and that I’d got a 50% discount or something like that on the one I’d bought, however, it had committed me to buy another two heaters as well. My fault for not being careful. I then read the many legitimate reviews of these heaters and realised that I’d been conned and that the heaters were totally useless. I was able to cancel my order within about 2 hours, but they said that the heaters had been shipped. They must be the fastest shippers in the business. Although they refunded about 85% of my payment, they kept just over £30.00 for shipping costs. Sharp practice by these people. I have been the victim of “Never give a sucker an even break” system. Oh dear!

I purchased 3 Alpha heaters from a Company called Strive Lifestyle and it seems that these were being shipped from the US although this was not clear when ordering. As a result they tried to sting me for a large import duty bill and so I requested that they were returned and a refund made. The shipping company confirmed that they were returned mid Dec 2022 but I am waiting for a refund for these products and nobody answers any of my attempts at communication (x8 emails now). To call them costs a fortune as I have tried and it was a waste of time as nothing has been and I am still awaiting my refund. The Contact Us page does not work either which seems suspicious and their Customer Support emails always bounce. I think I have been scammed sadly.

This thing SUCKS. DO NOT BUY. Very deceptive marketing saying it can ‘heat a room in minutes’. What a joke. It barely emits any heat, is loud, and is basically useless. The design is terrible as it plugs directly into the outlet, is bottom heavy which causes it to have a hard time staying plugged in. This obviously was a cash grab. Do not believe the top google results saying it is great or you will be like the rest of us and end up wasting money.

I ordered 3 heaters from them in November 2022. Since they did not do what was claimed, I paid £35 to send them back for a refund. I have proof they were received (- and within the money back guaranteed time frame -) on 19 December 2022. I have emailed them twice and, as of today, 1 February 2023, still have had no acknowledgement from them, nor have I received a refund. Disgusting! I'm getting onto my credit card provider and let them deal with Alpha Heater.

I am emailing just in the hope it will stop someone being misled by what is definitely a scam. I feel very foolish I fell for it; I was desperately trying to reduce my energy bills. First, the product comes from the USA but it is made in China. They do not inform potential customers of this nor the fact that they will have to pay, besides postage of what seemed a reasonable £10, another £40 for the useless items to be released from customs. When they were delivered (3 of them) they were in crumpled small cardboard boxes, showing a UK sticker. They are not fit for purpose. It took one of them 6 hours to heat a small bedroom by 0.6 of a degree centigrade. The thermostat on them does not work and this unit blew out cold air. I also tried one in an average sized lounge and it managed 0.5 degree centigrade increase after about 4 hours. Both rooms initial temperature was 15 degrees centigrade. I have tried to organize a return and was offered a 75% discount on the total price, not the full refund promised in their advertising. This was raised to 85% when I refused. Remember that you will have already incurred about £50 in postage/custom fees which are of course non-refundable. They do not warn customers about these extra fees.
After the 85% offer I contacted my credit card company and raised a dispute.
Please do not fall for this.

Ordered 2 heaters online at end of 2022. Received products. One heater's remote control battery lid was detached and soiled. Checked and followed instructions before use for the undamaged heater. Plugged it in and it just went "pop". Scared the life out of me, so immediately unplugged and put both back in packaging for return. Didn't dare try the damaged one. E-mailed company, but received no reply at all. Still waiting for information on where to send back to. Not a good experience. Either I've been very unlucky or good write-ups are completely wrong!

Terrible product no heat at all unless you cup your hands around it false advertising at its best

The order took over two months to arrive, when it got to Heathrow, HM customs sent me a bill for £40 to clear and be delivered. I paid and three heaters arrived, they heat well. When I made the order, I thought for one, but there were three to pay for and there was no way to cancel. I complained and was refunded for two, but there was also the delivery charge. BE AWARE these come from the USA, although the price is in pounds. Try to buy in the UK, less hassle.

The items are at heathrow customs..requested 5 times for contact details and courier detail to pay customs duty - never recieved. Demanded full refund - refused 75% and 85% offered. They then gave 85% but continue toi refuse toi refund rest stating money back guaranette expired as I accepted 85% refund..which I didnt!!! Truly awful..AVOID!!!

I only gave one star because I could not give zero. The heater is totally useless. The claim to heat a room in two minutes is totally false and constitutes mis-selling. Avoid this American trash like the plague. If the company wish to make improvements they could make the heater work.

I ordered these heaters back in December 2022 and paid £139. They refunded approx half as such a mix up. I have not received them. I recently had a bill for £61.29 for a customs charge. I cannot pay this and so will not now get the heaters. I did not know they were an overseas company if I had I would never have purchased from Alpha Heaters. Please ensure you buy from a company that posts them out from the UK. Extremely misleading and money lost.

Appalling. Bought via paypal and found they had set up an automatic recurring payment. After reading other reviews I tried to cancel the order to no avail. Had to open a case with paypal.and eventually got my money back. The items then arrived anyway so I decided to dispose of them through ebay for 15 quid after supposedly paying 113 quid for the two. After all, that was all they were worth.
The following day a message from ebay saying the item had been cancelled due to safety concerns around a serious risk of electrocution due to build quality.issues and the item not being suitable for UK use.
One hammer later and the items were suitably dealt with. If I could give zero stars I would.

This heater barely emits any heat, is really tiny, falls out of the wall and is so noisy you need ear plugs to sleep in the same room with it. It is not made in the US and is generic from China with no brand on it anywhere, even the box. None of the claims made by the company are accurate. Don’t believe the sponsored reviews. I asked for a refund and they gave me back $43 and change out of the $67 and change I paid including shipping and said keep the heater instead of me paying to ship it back. I don’t even know what to do with it because it’s pretty useless.

The heaters arrived on time and the tracking was good. The heaters were packed well but poor quality, little heat and vastly over priced. It stated made in China in the box. I emailed company and said it was advertised as made in USA. I emailed the company and asked how to return. Offered 75% refund to avoid return costs and restocking fee. Accepted and money in pay pal account within hour. Buyer beware but excellent customer service. Still out of pocket but glad it wasn't worse.

Complete waste of money. I ordered 2 and presumed the first I opened was faulty but no they were both as bad. You would have to sit on it to get warm and it is noisy for it's size. I complained and have received 75% refund. Note to self, don't believe all you read.

Ordered the heater beginning December and was informed that it was in transit and was given tracker number.Everthing was OK and tracked it until it got to Birmingham 21/12 where it stayed.Afrer contacting the supplier I was offered a 75% refund and keep the heaters when they arrived.Nothong else happened until 23,/01 ,when they offered another refund of 25%.Still waiting to hit my account.Nothing in their adverts to say theses come from USA

I placed my order on 11th December expecting delivery before Xmas. I followed tracking until it no longer showed up. Then it re- appeared held at customs. I contacted AH and received partial refund for inconvenience but units still did not arrive. I then received email saying I had to pay customs duty (£43) to release items. As we were now at 20th January I cancelled the order. I have just received my balance refund. Thankfully I purchased through Paypal who took the case up for me.

Got over charged to start.
Absolute garbage heaters,.would struggle to melt butter from 6 inches.
After complaining managed to get 75% refund, still have useless heaters as not yet been to skip.
Don't fall for the company site reviews, must have been written by shareholders.
