Awful Service
I’m very disappointed with the service I received from Addison Lee. The car arrived 30 minutes late, causing unnecessary stress and delay. I had clearly noted that the passengers were elderly and would need assistance getting into the taxi, yet the driver offered no help at all, which was both unsafe and unacceptable.
To make matters worse, I have now been charged an extra £12 that is apparently for parking.... but the airport had closed!
After such poor service, this unexplained additional fee feels completely unjustified.
Overall, the experience fell far below the standard I expected from Addison Lee, and I’m extremely dissatisfied with how this booking was handled.

3 Journeys 2 great 1 not so great
Journey out to airport on 8th September was very good, unfortunately our flight was cancelled due to air traffic problems. Journey to airport on 9th not so good, no space in boot, surrounded by cases, driver on phone and had to call in for petrol (not impressed)
Journey home 8th October was great, driver is so good and helpful, plenty of space for cases in boot and helped with them into and out of the car. Couldn't ask for better service

Cars not suitable for elderly large dogs
I booked a car that I was told was suitable for elderly large dogs as I have a 14 year old greyhound that I needed to take to the vets. I was told he could easily step into the car. Sadly the car was not at all suitable. There were two fairly high steps to get inside and my dog could not manage it. I had to help him inside with the help of the driver. once inside the car and the short journey started my dog was slipping and became very distressed. The floor of the car had vertical open strips where my dog's paws were slipping into. This was a return booking so I asked the driver to put a car mat at the back so at least my dog wouldn't slip on the way home. This complaint has nothing to do with the driver who was very polite and professional. It is all to do with the company not telling me that their cars are not suitable for elderly large dogs. The fee for this awful experience was £97 for a round trip of six miles plus an extra £10 for 15 minute waiting time. Never again!
