I changed from Wix, to Godaddy to GreenGeeks and was either overcharged or didn't receive the specific support I needed. With Webhosting Canada I get transparency in pricing, general tech support and can hire by the hour the web development I need - not more not less. And let's not forget the side benefit of supporting a Canadian Biz. They don't promise instant support, sometimes I wait a few hours - but I get the help I need. Tres heureux! Cheers from the West Coast.

The only sad thing is that there are only 5 stars... They deserve 100! Excellent as usual. I am not tech-savvy, and they are always there to help. All the best to this fantastic team!

I was having a terrible time with another registrar so i created a new domain, with WHC, there was a small hiccup when setting up my website but it was kinda complicated. Anyway not only did they help, but they were friendly as well. keep up the good work!

Awful. The moment they got my money I have not gad ONE good outcome on their site.
Nothing ever worked. I was not even able to get in for about 10/11 days.

I am still waiting after almost one month to get my money back.
The way it is going. It is way too long. I believe they are trying to get passed the date allowed for reimbursement so that they can give me a harder time then they already have to get my money back.

Awful experience and ongoing after many weeks.

Alain answered my question/concern about my newly created website not loading and it telling me the "Page Not Found". He redirected my domain name to the proper web hosting site (WHC) and has told me my site should be up and running within 8 - 24 hours. I'll be checking back tomorrow and looking forward to seeing the page. Thanks, Alain!

Issue found and resolved perfectly.

To start, the Virtual Assistant was extremely helpful in diagnosing my issue. I can’t say the same for other companies’ virtual assistants — WHC’s assistant provides clear, step‑by‑step guidance that both non‑technical and technical users can easily follow.

From there, the case was escalated to a Level 2 Technician who quickly identified the problem, replicated it on WHC’s end, and resolved it with a turnaround time well above expectations.

Nous avions un problème de redirection de courriels qui nous a fait chercher longtemps. Alain a pris le temps de faire ses propres tests, de vérifier notre configuration et a finalement repéré une toute petite faute de frappe dans une adresse que nous n’avions pas vue.

Une fois l’erreur corrigée, tout a fonctionné parfaitement.

For once a chatbot really understood my question, was able to find information about my account to answer properly, and gave me the right answer to my original question as well as follow-on questions. Nice work!

Amina was helpful once I was able to reach her.
However 30-45 minutes in queue both on phone and on chat before service was unsuspended due to a billing issue that was not my error, is concerning. Two hours of downtime for business critical infrastructure is not reasonable.
Amina is courteous and escalated the matter for further investigation / compensation as soon as she could, and called me personally with the results. That helps however I continue to question using WHC's services as I find technical support too slow when issues arise, some of which could have been avoided completely.

Moving from a US to a Canadian service provider was a priority for me. The transition was seamless. I highly recommend WHC to other Canadians.

My goal was to pivot to Canadian platform that way based in Canada. I’ve build my site before so I was comfortable with that process. Along the way I had a few stop & go issues and found the support was great. From cost to end result I’m super happy with WHC.
Now; onto switching my email, searching for Canadian cloud like provider and so on. 🇨🇦

I appreciate the high-quality level of support. I have had some issues with security on a number of my sites and whc has addressed and solved each one. And now it's very easy to start a support ticket, where it used to be confusing.
